Name: Asagawa Hikari
Age: 81
Height: 5’ 6’’
Weight: 120
Appearance:
Hikari stands at average height with a slender but muscular frame from her long training as a gymnast and acrobat. Her face is soft, her features, delicate, a trademark of her ancestry. Long chocolate locks flow to her waist, framing her ivory skin with almond tendrils. Her hair decorated with a strange trio of orange orbs, a gift given to her by her instructor. The ornament sits above her right temple, and helps keep some of her lengthy mane out of her field of vision.
Her primary garment is an ebony yukata, decorated around the shoulders, sleeves and below the waist with scarlet cherry blossoms. Splashes of pink dye color amongst the flowers below the waist, and azure hued ribbons trim the inside of her sleeves. A saffron obi is tied around her slender frame, but her kimono is kept loose to allow for faster maneuverability and flexibility during combat. Wooden orbed bracelets dangle around her wrist. On her left arm, the spheres are painted chestnut, the right, alabaster. A parasol with a thin handle is usually rested on her shoulder. The light sapphire canopy is spun from thinly woven silk.
History: Born into an average family in Hiroshima, Japan, Hikari was brought into this world on May 23, 1928. An only child, Hikari was their parents pride and joy, forcing her into the classic over achiever role. All through school she scored highest in her class and participated in track and field and gymnastics and was a stereotypical “good girl.” When she was 17, her grandfather needed heart surgery, a dangerous procedure during that time. Reaching the Surgical Clinic the morning of the operation, she was promptly vaporized by an atomic bomb blast before they had a chance to perform the procedure.
Unaware of exactly what had happened, she found herself chained to the ground just outside the hospital doors. A strange man in black, along with swarms of others dressed in identical uniforms appeared in front of her, one of them tapping her forehead with the butt of thier blade which transported her to another place. As she traveled, bitterness about her death welled up inside her. She had tried to do her best in life, only to be annihilated by the whim of another man? It wasn’t fair. The girl would most likely turned into a hollow had she been given time to brood.
The spirit world was dull. What was worse as that even though the teen was dead, she still yearned for food. Her hunger became so great that she stole a sandwich from a passing shinigami. Once it was discovered that Hikari needed food, she was enrolled into the shinigami academy where she was trained in the arts of the death gods. After 6 years of schooling, she was recruited by Gotai 13 and placed in the 2nd division.

Zanpakuto
Appearance:
Sealed
Appearing as a slim ninjato that fits within the shaft of an umbrella in her sealed state, Akaruisho measures 25 inches (63.5 centimeters) in length with a razor sharp steel blade of 20 inches (50 centimeters). Its tsuka is forged from strong steel with durable cerulean string woven around the grip. A square shaped shuba sits between the blade and handle, used to protect Hikari’s hand from damage during combat.
Released
Once released, Akaruisho’s ninjato form will disappear, transmuting herself into her true form. A golden stinger will appear on both of Hikari’s hands, leather straps covered in gold leaf hold the weapon to her arm, making the weapon the perfect supplement for strong skills in Hakuda. Perched on the shinigami’s middle fingers, the puncturing spike of the weapon extends 8 inches beyond the tips of her fingers. The weapon is sharp enough to easily puncture flesh and with intensive training in Hakuda will give it the ability to easily break bones.
Manifestation:
Housed within the steel confines of a zanpacto, the spirit of a regal young woman lives in solitude. Short navy hair flows to the back of her neck and an elegant red silk outfit covers her slender form at all times. Over sized ivory sleeves dangle past her arms and a small crimson skirt hangs from her waist. Fluffy cream colored clouds with red and gold ribbon sit on her Matching boots rise up to just below her knees, and a golden circlet is wrapped around her forehead. With a lean and unmarred porcelain face, Akaruisho personifies the elegance and refinement of crystals. Well spoken and diplomatic, her words are chosen carefully and easily command a conversation with quiet authority.
Inner World:
The inner world of Akaruisho is a simple forest sakura trees eternally in bloom. A crystal clear lake sits in the center of the forest and plush green grass blankets the earth. A world looked as if it was painted with watercolor, this scenery is a romanticized version of a park near where Hikari grew up, frozen in time during her favorite festival. Each year during the Sakura blossom festival, Hikari's grandmother would bring her a brand new colorful yukata and take her to the park to watch the flowers in bloom. During the celebration, the young Hikari would play carnival games such as trying to catch a fish with a paper net while enjoying the fried festival foods.

Kido[/font][/b]
- Hadō No. 2: Mizugan (Way of Destruction: Water Orb)
Type: Destruction Art.
Description: Channeling reiatsu around the user's hand, they will then extend their dominant hand forward, allowing the reiatsu to gather moisture from the atmosphere and condense it into a small sphere of water, no larger than six inches in diameter. The ball will then be launched towards the opponent at moderate speeds. Upon impact, the ball will detonate with a strong concussive force, creating a large spray of water as well as knocking back whatever was struck by the force.
Incantation: Essence of Ocean, swiftly gather; then, punish the transgressors! Hado no Ni: Mizugan!
Restrictions: ---
Hadô No. 7: Kosharashi (Way of Destruction: Withering Tempest)
Type: Destruction Art.
Description: The user extends their hand, and begins the chant for the technique. As the user chants the incantation, a large amount of wind quickly swirls around the user's hand, forming a square shape around the user's hand. As the incantation finishes, a blue light completely envelops the user's hand, and the square formation around the hand will then rapidly extend outwards. With gale-force winds being released in a straight line around the size of a square meter from the square formation around the user's hand, the caster will attempt to strike the opponent with the wind force to deal crushing damage to them.
Incantation: Storm, powerful, demanding; gather in heaven and descend upon us mortals. Rear your head, and unleash your wrath! Hado no Nana: Kosharashi!
Restrictions: --- - Hadō No. 17: Akasenshi Hari (Way of Destruction No. 17: Red Stab Needles)
Type: Destruction Art.
Description: The user gathers reiatsu into their fingertips, holding their hands out to the sides with fingers outstretched. The user then points both of their hands forward, all fingers extended. Twenty needles of red reiatsu, two from each finger, will spring forward from the user’s hands, each one doing minor impaling damage and as a whole seeking to deal a wide variety of stabbing wounds to the target.
Incantation: Ten pillars, two spires, glow red in the white echoes of moonlight. Twist in shadow cut the heart of temperance free from the ocean floor! Ye lord, look upon us! Hado no Juunana: Akasenshi Hari!
Restrictions: --
Hadô No. 33: Sôkatsui (Way of Destruction No. 33: Blue Fire, Crash Down)
Type: Destruction Art.
Description: The user gather reiatsu to their fingers, extending the palm of their dominant hand to point towards the target, fingers extended. The off hand is placed on the dominant shoulder, with the palm facing away from the body. The index and middle fingers of the off hand are extended straight up and the rest are folded into the palm. The dominant hand will crackle with blue energy before releasing a large, flame-like burst of reiatsu from that spreads out in a wide cone fashion, dealing harsh burns to whatever is struck by the reiatsu.
Incantation: Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Hado no Sanjuusan: Sôkatsui!
Restrictions: --
Bakudo
- Hadō No. 1: Hotaru
Type: Art of Destruction
Description: Forming a circle in between one’s hands, several dozens of fireflies fly out. Swarming towards the desired target, once the user of the spell gives the command – claping their hands together – all fireflies light up with extremely bright flashes.
Incantation: Sparkle in the eyes of the unbelievers! Darting firefly, Bakudō no Ichi: Hotaru!
Restrictions: --- - Bakudō No. 4: Hainawa (Way of Binding: Crawling Rope)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: An ability that is both simplistic and useful, and as such it can commonly be seen in practice. It is especially favored amongst members of the Fourth Division, who cannot get a patient to stop struggling against treatment. Gathering Reiatsu, the user will speak the incantation, and then condense the energy as a chain of light from the index and middle fingers of the user's dominant hand, which are held together. The chain will then quickly fly towards the opponent, attempting to act as a restraint to prohibit the opponent from moving. Once bound, the chain is capable of being tied to another object to hold the opponent; the user is not required to maintain the connection between the chain and their hand, allowing them to then perform other actions.
Incantation: My will to succeed be the rope that sustains you; let my breath of light be the light to guide you. Bakudo no Yon: Hainawa!
Restrictions: ---
Bakudô No. 8: Seki (Way of Binding No. 8: Repulse)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: Condensing the user's reiatsu in front of them, they create a small golden-colored shield of energy. The technique's defensive capability is, unfortunately, highly limited, and even the most powerful of casters will find the ability only capable of blocking Kidô of the first Category. However, a secondary ability exists within the spell as well: opponents why physically strike the shield will be knocked backwards, sending them flying a few feet. It also paralyzes the limb that struck it for one turn.
Incantation: The royal protector, true in heart and mind, know the owner of the crown and pledge loyalty unto him. Bakudô no Hachi: Seki!
Restrictions: --- - Bakudō No. 30: Shitotsu Sansen (Way of Binding: Beak-Stab Triple Beam)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: A technique often utilized by higher-level Shinigami due to its' average simplicity, this technique is also known as one of the most useful Bakudō when fighting an opponent. Gathering reiatsu upon his or her index finger, the caster then quickly draws a triangle in front of them, while beginning the incantation for the spell. After the incantation is complete, large spikes, resembling 'bird beaks', will appear at each corner of the triangle. Upon the calling out of the spell's name, the beaks will launch towards the opponent, attempting to strike them in three places. If a strike is successful, the spell's beaks will envelop the opponent at the area of impact, binding them to whatever is behind them.
Incantation: Sign of three warriors, approach and declare war on the forbidden followers. Bakduō no Sanju: Shitotsu Sansen!
Restrictions: Must know Bakudō no Yon: Hainawa. - Bakudō No. 37: Tsuriboshi (Way of Binding: Suspending Star)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: Gathering reiatsu and beginning the incantation for the spell, the caster will then extend their dominant hand outwards, releasing a star-shaped net of golden light. A versatile spell that can be used for a great many things, such as holding a large weight or, if used correctly, catching yourself or an ally from a fall. The technique has zero defensive value and can be ripped through with proper intent: however, it has enough strength to hold many thousand pounds worth of weight, and can be as large as the user needs it to be. A weak-point to the spell would be its' need for something to anchor its' eight points to; however, a variation of the spell is also taught that allows the user to create the anchors out of reiatsu, which allows the net to be created and sustained even in mid-air.
Incantation: Called forth from heaven, even the stars now answer to the plea of the dead. Bakduō no Sanjushichi: Tsuriboshi!
Restrictions: ---
