Appearance:

Myriam stands out from the usual looks that one sees in a small town of Japan. Dark hair and green eyes are absent. Instead, long blond locks that reach to the lower half of her back adorn her crown, falling into bangs before her eyes. Instead of the expected dark brown eyes, dual emerald gems adorn her eyes. They are not the usual earthy green that is found in regular humans, no they almost glow because of their clear almost fluorescent color. Her eyes are not off-setting though, they are almost mesmerising, they set her apart from the usual girls, which is but a bonus to this talented DJ. A small nose adorns her face, beneath it small, thin lips. Her face is completely symmetric with no real irregularities except the color of her eyes, she looks as normal as any other caucasian girl her age.

Flawless skin covered her whole body. It has a healthy glow about it, not a tan that is usually gain while basking in the sun or attending a tanning salon. Myriam is slightly curvacious, she would not be considered one to have 'junk in the trunk' her backside being only slightly round. She is also not top heavy because of her regular workout she has never truly gained any weight.

Power Focus: Given to her by her father, Myriam is able to focus spiritual energy through it. It is quite ordinary looking. It possesses five clear diamonds all around, encrusted within the silver band.

Level: Low-Medium
Description: The ability is named after the Greek God of wine, parties and the theatre, it uses a specific frequency of sound itself to cause an effect in another person. Myriam can mix her reaitsu within the sound around. To anyone that hears this sound in a thirty meter radius they will be affected by this ability. The reaitsu-enhanced sound enters the ears and passes through the tympanic membrane. Instead of passing to the sensory parts of the brain it affects the cerebellum, the part of the brain that is usually affected by alcohol. What happens is that the person affected by the sound manipulated by Myriam will now feel as if they were intoxicated. Their reflexes will slow down as if they were drunk, their vision will grow to be slightly blurred, their balance slightly off, their speech will become slurred. In other words the person or people affected by this ability suffer from the effects of intoxication. Learned at this point this ability can only be used on humans, shinigami and Quincey. The sound based ability has yet to be able to affect Hollows. It is also limited to a radius of thirty meters. If a person can somehow block the sound from entering his ears the person will be immune to her powers.
Restrictions: Myriam is unable to perform this ability if she is not wearing her father’s ring. Needless to say that it is limited to Myriam and her father.

History:
Born to Pierre Apollon, a famous archaeologist, and Marie de la Fontaine, a famous business woman, Myriam had quite a desirable life. Lived and bred in the Paris, the young girl was sent to the best of schools as she grew up. There was some sort of void in her life. She was an only child so growing up was lonely most of the time, yet she tried to keep herself occupied, to dispel her bouts of loneliness. She would take self defence classes; she was also a gifted musician so she took piano and guitar lessons. During this time, her father was on an Archaeological Digging Site in Athens. The man found an artefact which contained some sort of power. During his trips around the world he would use this ring, learning its power away from his family, unlikely the spiritual forces within. Myriam’s father’s regular trips out of Paris also created some sort of void in the young Apollon’s life. Her life would be somewhat uneventful; she had a normal life for someone that lived in a wealthy family in France.

At the age of fourteen, Myriam would be given a ring from her father. It was beautiful, it was shiny, she could not believe the ring was actually an object uncovered in a dig site because of its perfect condition; it seemed as if it had come from a diamond shop. Pierre had tried to make up for last time by giving the jewel to her daughter. He knew full well of the powers it granted to the wearer, he hoped that the powers within would keep her safe from whatever she would face throughout her life. It is theorised that it was not too long after that was her fated encounter with a shinigami. It cannot be truly known when it happened because quite frankly the young girl could not have seen the shinigami. Yet strange things started happened soon after. She could see faint figures in the distance. She could feel the presence of people that were not truly there. Not wanting to sound crazy she kept this to herself. Yet at the age of fifteen, things started to get even more peculiar. Myriam had made a boyfriend. Jérémy was an average boy; he was of the middle class, very athletic and genuine. He was the young girl’s friend true love. They spent several months together yet there was something that Myriam could not help but noticed. Each time they were going to a party, Jérémy would get there already drunk, drunker than everyone else and would remain as so for the whole night. It became somewhat of an annoyance to the young girl, to have her boyfriend constantly lose balance, throw up and make a fool of himself. Yet she could not break up with him, it was her first love, she had no idea of her limits when it came to love. Soon, each time he was in her presence he would become drunk once more. He would beg her to understand that he was not drinking and could not explain why he felt so intoxicated when she was around. Myriam, having had enough of his drunken rants left him. It made it that much easier for her when she had to move to Japan for her mother’s business.

The arrival was made smoothly, she had never lived in such a small town but she got used to it. Yet Myriam was somewhat more distant than usual, she seemed different. Her father became worried and decided to talk it out with her. In a fit of tears the girl explained her situation with her ex-boyfriend. Pierre, understanding what was going on explained to her the powers of the ring, explaining to her than the ring he had given her contained powers based on sound, the first one dealt with a sound frequency that could cause symptoms in humans similar to intoxication. The truth came as a surprise to Myriam, she had blamed her boyfriend for his problems yet she had been at the source of it. During this time she also started DJ’ing around Karakura Town in the clubs. Though she was not of legal age she would still be a DJ, she would require a low pay which was quite appealing to club owners. Being a DJ became her new passion, she loved making people dance to her beats.
