A desolate park void of any life, lights losing their glow ever so eerily. Pitch black darkness and silence consume anyone who dare lay foot upon these lands, the stench of death wafting through the air. As if without a focal point, the roar of a beast breaks the silence and brings forth with it terror. Black shadows dance wildly without rhythm before emerging from the darkness a creature of grotesque proportions. Two traits standing out more so than others; a bright white mask and hole present at the chest. Raising its head, the creature bellows out a roar akin to the previous, its voice echoing for miles in every direction.
Bishamonten came to visit the human world in search of food, the delectable treat all hollow feast upon; the human soul. Head cocking back and forth, he was scanning the area for any nearby souls he could feast upon without worry. "Tamashii." Would there be a treat this night? Or would he go hungry yet again? Whatever the case, something vicious was swelling up within him.
Tamashii = Souls

Cautious footsteps would carry her through the dark park located in the Human Realm; Karakura town to be specific. Whatever the reason was, this hamlet attracted a ridiculous amount of spiritual activity, meaning Shinigami nearly always were patrolling the streets. Hikari was brought to the park after a rather dull assassination. The hollow simply couldn’t keep up with her sheer speed. A discontented sigh slipped from her lips, her zanpacto resting silently within its sheath strapped to her back.
Her ebony garment fluttered just above the deserted road, blending in quite well with the blackened scenery. A sudden pulse of spiritual pressure alerted her to the presence of a hollow, causing her to mask her reiatsu to hide her presence. Thanks to her vestment, the veil of night would hopefully aid in masking her location as long as possible. Chestnut optics scanned the park, looking for the haunting white mask that belonged to a tortured soul.

Silence consuming him, not a single soul came to check upon this creatures call. With no souls present to feast upon, there was nothing to do but move on to a more active location. Shifting its body, the creature began its slow trek through the darkness towards the light emanating from the town. There was but one thing on his mind, food. It did not matter how far he needed to go, this creature would not stop until it feasted upon a human soul or if it was lucky; the soul of a Shinigami. Head moving back and forth -- from left to right -- the creature constantly searched for even the faintest presence of a soul.
This entire time, the creature had failed to notice the Shinigami who hid her presence for if he had noticed, his lust would have been insatiable. He would ravage her body without mercy, devouring her completely and ever so monstrously. It would have been a sight unlike any other. Would the Shinigami reveal herself? Or would the creature be allowed to roam freely?

There was a eerie feeling about the waterfront today, something implicit that veered all others from walking near the water's edge. That was to say that the whole waterfront seemed to be completely devoid of people. Thermidor seemed to have an odd affinity for picking the worst of times to do his daily rounds. All the better, right? Keeping those hollows at bay.
Today seemed to be one of those day indeed, as he came across a peculiar spiritual peak, or rather -- an unusual spike of reiatsu. It was so minuet, the creature trying to veil itself before the rapture, that it took some time to get a clear picture of the direction -- if any, at which it hailed from. It did well to make Thermidor more cautious, a hand raising to his brow as he searching all about for some visual confirmation of the aberration.
It was almost no surprise what he saw in the potential hollow's stead, a Shinigami -- female, just a ways ahead of him. The colors of her clothes seemed nostalgic, did he know the female?
"God damn Shinigami, coming into my territory. I keep telling you that this is my turf."

Finally zeroing in on her target, it didn’t take much effort to track him once he was in her sights. It appeared that she had managed to stay hidden, so she would take advantage of this situation. Holding her left arm out in front of her, the incantation of her desired kido was muttered in hushed tones. My will to succeed be the rope that sustains you; let my breath of light be the light to guide you. Bakudo no Yon: Hainawa!
On the completion of her ritual, reiatsu was shot from between her middle and index fingers on her outstretched hands. With the chain aimed directly at her hollow target, hopefully the chain would hit home and restrain her target, assuring an easy kill. Regardless of the success of her kido spell, it seemed that a familiar, annoying entity had found her. “Stay out of my way Quincy.” She scowled, attempting to aim her spell to entangle the hollow. Her next course of action would be determined by her Kido, so for now, she would just sit and react to what would come.

As the creature continued its trek towards the light of town, the a sudden Reiatsu reaction would alert the creature to an enemy; not just one Reiatsu reaction but two now existed. The first could not be identified but the second would soon become recognizable, a Shinigami had appeared within the vicinity. The creature did not care for why it could not detect the Shinigami before but at this moment, it could feel the gathering of Reiatsu likely meaning an attack was headed its way. With a quick shift of its body, it now face the direction of both Reiatsu; bladed arms digging into the ground lifting the a piece of earth from the planets bosom. This piece of earth would act as a shield from the woman's Bakudo and possibly any other attacks.
Only after the attack had failed would the creature truly examine the two sources of Reiatsu. One being a man, his Reiatsu very different from the woman's Reiatsu. Attacking should have been the first thing on the creatures mind but it wasn't, he somehow found this woman intriguing. "Onna?" (Onna = Woman) [/blockquote]

There was no need to make haste, for this Hollow seemed to have a certain intelligence many others didn't have. It's movements and attack patterns thus far seemed analytical, it was gauging the abilities of the two. Thermidor understood this, his pace keeping, as his right hand outstretched and he willed his weapon-of-choice into existence. As the gun fully materialized in a corona of light, he took point, doing well to compensate for atmospheric conditions as he fired off round after round in the monster's direction, shooting five in quick succession.
"Watch out, Shinigami. This one doesn't seem to be the run of the mill Hollow. It's analyzing you -- gauging your threat level."
It was only after he called out his dialogue that he began moving faster, pace hastening to reduce the distance between he and the monster to lower the margin of error in his shots. Every bullet counted, with every hit there would be a minuscule amount of damage -- but holistically would injure the monster on a level a simple shinigami spell wouldn't.

Though her kido spell was executed perfectly, it was knocked aside by a rather large chunk of earth removed from the ground. She could tell, even without the brilliant deductions of the Quincy, that this was no ordinary hollow. It was quite clear that she couldn’t rely on kido to subdue this foe, for he was more intelligent than an average demon. Watching as the gunner took off to close his distance between himself and the hollow, the shinigami would prepare another kido spell. However, this one was a bit more versatile than her previous attack.
Speaking in her normal voice, the incantation slid past her lips, calling reiatsu to gather and do her bidding. “Sparkle in the eyes of the unbelievers! Darting firefly, Bakudō no Ichi: Hotaru!” A swarm of glowing light spheres materialized from her hand and flew towards the hollow. For now, they would simply hover around his head until she had another use for them. “I suppose I better back that human up…” She sighed, utilizing quick movements to close the battlefield to a smaller range. “Try not to get hurt kid.” She chided, brandishing her blade in her left hand in preparation for combat.

It seemed this was the fate of one such as a Hollow, constantly battling just for survival in this world. No matter where this creature went, all that lay in wait for him were battles where a simple mistake would end in his likely death. To make matters worse, Bishamonten is now forced to face not one opponent but two, the man now joining in on the battle. All he wished for was the chance to feed upon the delicious soul of a human; just a single soul. He did not ask for much, just enough to satisfy his hunger till the next time he needed to feed but Shinigami and others would not allow this. Whether he fed near a town or on the outskirts of town, an opponent would appear, ready to take his life in a moments notice. This rage would be the driving source of this battle, for the hollow at least.
Eerie yellow oculi watching from behind the white mask, the creature slowly analyzed the abilities of this couple. The man, who seemed human, would suddenly strike with the use of some weapon he had called forth. Five orbs darted through the air aiming to strike the hollow; something Bishamonten would not allow to occur. Beginning a dash toward its right side, the Hollow attempted side-step away from the trajectory of the projectiles and once out of the way, a forward dash towards the oncoming enemies. As the creature ran, the tiny flickering lights of the female Shinigami's Kido would probably begin to trail behind the fast moving hollow for despite the creatures visage, it moved at speeds one would not expect.
Once about 10 meters from the human male, the hollows right arm would dig into the ground before launching pieces of earth and rock. The clumps of dirt would not cause much damage due to its soft form, likely causing no more damage than a strong punch depending upon the clump size. The rocks on the other hand possessing a few tons of force behind their hardened bodies, capable of dealing damage on a much greater scale.
Name: Bishamonten [God of War] - Trait Level: Average Description: Named after the God of War, Bishamonten, this trait possessed by Yuri is not truly a technique but more of an understanding, a belief that one is truly a God warrior when within battle. This belief begins as nothing more than a thought but through years of believing he was made by Bishamonten as a God warrior, this belief becomes something much more. As all God warriors must possess untold strength, this understanding has granted Lachesis new found strength of monstrous proportions. At his current level, he is able to lift 4 tons in weight and can apply the same amount of force to his attacks. With such strength, the air is literally blown away with each swing on his blade, easily crushing rock. Restrictions: Can only be obtained by Yuri/Bishamonten.

The Quincey too had done some analzying of this creature, as it began it's assault. A normal hollows strength was amazing, but the ease at which it picked up huge mounds of earth was astounding. It didn't seem to pick up the mounds of earth so much as it hands sinked into the ground and lifted it. He needed to do well not to get too close.
The eyes of his watched the monster toss it's earthen weapon, tracking it before his feet shuffled and he seemingly blinked across the battlefield, just outside the effective radius of the tossed earth. He did well to continue on the same trajectory parallel to that of the beast to continually increase the relative distance.
"Show time!"
Both of his hands gripped the handgun, before he raised it into the air, focusing spiritual particles into the weapon, little by little. It was by no means subtle, the gun itself seemingly exposing it's innards as it began shining radiantly. Streaks of crimson and alabaster seemed to emanate from the very area of which he stood.
Hirenkyaku (Flying Screen Step) Level: Low Description: A technique that is not very difficult to perform, and is available to every Quincey upon reaching Rank 1. Similar to the other "rapid speed" abilities, such as Sprint and Shunpo, this technique allows the user to create a great number of spirit particles underneath their feet, which then slide towards the desired direction. The greater the user's Sumido capabilities, the faster this sliding will occur, eventually allowing for 'seeming' instant transportation between one area and another. Restrictions: Must reach Rank 1. Use: 6 Remaining: 5

Evading the hollow’s strike in a manner similar to her “companion”, a flash step carried her a few meters from the meddling human. In the mean time, her fireflies struggled to keep up with the quick movements of the demon.
“Subtle!” She chided from a few meters besides the Quincy, remarking on the glowing effect of his weapon within the almost pitch black surroundings. While the duo were a good 15 meters away from the herculean hollow, he was clearly just as dangerous from far away as he was at close range. Keeping her focus on the hollow, another incantation began to spurt from her lips.
“Ten pillars, two spires, glow red in the white echoes of moonlight. Twist in shadow cut the heart of temperance free from the ocean floor! Ye lord, look upon us! Hado no Juunana: Akasenshi Hari!”
Prepared to react to any minor attacks as she chanted, the Shinigami would stretch her arms forwards towards the Hollow once the ritual was complete. Red spikes of rieatsu would shoot from her fingers, flying quickly through the air aimed at piercing his monstrous form. Though not capable of doing serious harm, even the smallest injuries would stack over time. “Come on. Hit.”

Sad, for it seemed the creatures attempt at an attack would not meet up to its expectations; failing to even slightly damage either of the opponents. Now 15 meters away from both the Shinigami and mysterious human male, the hollow wished to gather some information before continuing with the battle. Pointing over to the human male with his ever so bright glowing weapons, the creature spoke an inquiry. "You, what are you?" It was as the creature waited for a reply that the female Shinigami's voice would catch his attention. After all the attempts at an attack, each and every time this Shinigami chanted some long phrase, an attack would be aimed at the Hollow. Catching onto what she was doing, Bishamonten could only assume that yet another Kido attack was about to head his way; possibly one more powerful than all the previous. He would not allow this for in an instant, the creature was gone only to reappear behind the female Shinigami -- a Sonido used and one of great speed. Its left hand already within a backhand motion, attempting to swat the Shinigami aside with great force. It would not be enough to kill her but it would injure her greatly for the creatures strength was unlike anything any other hollow possessed. Whether the attack would succeed or not, another Sonido would be used to take the creature 30 meters away from the human male with the glowing weapons. Once again, it would attempt to question the man. "What are you, Kyoudai? 2/11 Sonido Charges [/blockquote]

As more and more spirtual particles gathered in the gun there would be an increased spiritual pressure in the area, the atmosphere itself seemingly becoming volatile with every passing second. Thermidors hands shook at the might of the attack, barely able to keep steady as the charging neared completion.
"What am I?" He said, pensively before screen stepping to within ten meters of the beast. "I'm simply human."
There was a resounding boom as he pressed the trigger, ripping the gun right for a peculiar effect. The condensed beam of spirit particles traveled forward slightly skewed to one side, in effect increasing the horizontal range of the attack. Instead of there being a condensed beam that would hit the beast head on, it would travel on it's side with the same amount of destructive force. It if it hit the beast, which Thermidor hoped but still wasn't confident in, he would surely die -- if it touched anything for that matter, there would be an explosive of huge proportion.

Similar to the other "rapid speed" abilities, such as Sprint and Shunpo, this technique allows the user to create a great number of spirit particles underneath their feet, which then slide towards the desired direction. Name: Ganz Geistig Vertreibung (Full Spiritual Expulsion) Level: Very High. Description: Through mastery over their abilities to use spiritual particles, a gun toting Quincey gains the ability to manipulate their shots in a rather unique form. Rather than shooting singular bullets the Quincey can now prepare 'beams' of Reiryoku (Spirtual Power) to use to combat the oncoming Hollow menace. The atmosphere is combed for spiritual particles, of which are constantly siphoned into the Quincey's gun. As the gun charges it begins to shine brightly as more and more spiritual particles are gathered, taking a total of one post to completely charge. Upon pulling of the trigger a 'beam' of Reiryoku (Spiritual Power) of a diameter of one meter and length of five meters is released. The 'beam' itself travels at 2/3 the speed of a typical Quincey bullet (of which travels just shy of the speed of a paint ball), and only has effective radius of thirty meters. When the beam hits this 'wall' of effectiveness is dissipates into the world harmlessly. As the user grows in specialist level and rank they will gain the ability to use the power more often, building upon a basic usage limit of three times per thread.
Mahodo Non-Specialist: +0 Every Rank.
Mahado Specialist: +1 Every Two Ranks.
Mahado Master: +1 Every Rank.
Restrictions: Must be Neo Quincey. Must be using gun Reibuki. Must be able to Soul Forge. Cannot use/perform Quincey skill/powers over "Low" level whilst charging. Requires one post preparation and then one post cooldown before it can be used again, during which the Quincey's abilities to manipulate their Reibuki to fire bullets is inhibited halving their effectiveness. Uses: 3 Remaining: 2

Watching as her target disappeared in a blur of motion headed in her direction, her spell was abandoned and a flash step of her own would carry her out of harms way, away from the Hollow's massive swat. Reappearing just behind the Quincey, she watched as spirit particles channeled into his strange weapon. Having battled at his side before, Hikari knew what was coming next, but also knew that this Hollow was fast enough to dodge it.
Beginning another incantation, she sped through the words as Thermador slid forwards. Hearing a few words leave his lips before pulling the trigger, she was prepared to aim her kido spell at wherever their opponent would reappear should he take advantage of his great speed to evade the attack. However, battles between different races were never predictable, so she remained poised to abandon her magic to flee from another sneak attack.
Bakudō No. 30: Shitotsu Sansen (Way of Binding: Beak-Stab Triple Beam) Type: Binding Art. Description: A technique often utilized by higher-level Shinigami due to its' average simplicity, this technique is also known as one of the most useful Bakudō when fighting an opponent. Gathering reiatsu upon his or her index finger, the caster then quickly draws a triangle in front of them, while beginning the incantation for the spell. After the incantation is complete, large spikes, resembling 'bird beaks', will appear at each corner of the triangle. Upon the calling out of the spell's name, the beaks will launch towards the opponent, attempting to strike them in three places. If a strike is successful, the spell's beaks will envelop the opponent at the area of impact, binding them to whatever is behind them. Incantation: Sign of three warriors, approach and declare war on the forbidden followers. Bakduō no Sanju: Shitotsu Sansen! Restrictions: Must know Bakudō no Yon: Hainawa.

It was as Onimusha waited for a reply from the man that he would be caught with a most sudden of surprises. Immediately after the mysterious male repeated the question which had been asked of him, his form would simply vanish from sight before reappearing just five meters away from where Onimusha stood. Thankfully for his skill within techniques of similar form that he would be able to keep up with the boys movements otherwise his demise would have come much earlier than he wished. Watching as the supposed "Simple human" begin to unleash a bright light from his weapon, Onimusha could already tell what was coming would not be good.
Wishing to avoid any life threatening injuries, a Sonido was used to take him 40 meters backwards within an instant, his speed likely too great for most to truly follow. Once 45 meters from the human male and 55 meters from the female Shinigami, Onimusha would not move. For now he watched and waited for a chance to do what he needed to do. His previous attempt to pry information from the male a bust, another plan would have to be devised to turn the situation in his favor. Whether that plan would work or not was an entirely different matter but for now, all he needed to do is gain time. Time to determine whether this was worth it or not.

The beam of spiritual particles, meeting no resistance, would simply fade away back into the universe, becoming whatever it so needed to become. Thermidors handgun, now held at his side -- a static discharge seemingly leaking from it's bowels, was now in a recovery phase. For a time he would not be able to operate at his full efficiency, and needed to take care to make sure not to expose this weakness blatantly.
"Tch. You're a slippery thing." He spoke, as he began a walk toward the monsterity, hoping -- planning, for his arrogant and bold movements to indicate that was not all he was capable of and everything was normal. "I guess I expected too much help out of the Shinigami woman."
The discharge slowly faded as time progressed, before the weapon returned completely to normal it's chambering automatically locking as he willed a bullet to be inside of it.
"Round two? Now I know to hit you point blank."
Recovery Phase complete.

With her target so far away, she abandoned her kido spell again, deciding that the worthless magic tricks wernt going to work in this scenario. Instead, she'd need to rely on what she was best at. Speed. After cracking her knuckles, her short sword was brandished. It appeared that the Quincey needed time to recharge his abilities, making him a sitting duck for the time being. Although she didn't like Quinceys, it was, begrudgingly, her job to protect him.
In a flurry of ebony fabric, the Shinigami flash stepped (2|11) towards the hollow, stopping just five meters from his front. She was well aware of the speed possessed by the hollow, and she was confident that she could match it. "Lets see what you got!" She taunted, pointing the sharp edge of her blade towards the massive ivory mask of her opponent. It was likely that the two entities would stale mate in close combat, but hopefully she could provide her companion an opening for her teammate to hit the hollow with one of his bullets.

[OOC: Sorry about the constantly changing names. Trying to find something I like. xP]
Odd . . .
As the human male began his slow pace toward Animus and as the female Shinigami was about to think of using a Shunpo to close the distance, the creature was gone. A Sonido taking the creature 30 meters backwards yet again, its left side facing both opponents while his eyes were set upon something. Standing no more than a few feet away from the 20 foot tall monster stood a lonely human woman unable to see the creature. An ordinary human woman who just got off work had chosen to walk through the park as a shortcut home but she had no idea what had been transpiring within the darkness.
Stopping her walk just a few feet from the large hollow to her left which she could not see, she could however manage to see the human male within the distance. With a smile upon her face, she waved to the young boy before suddenly an invisible hand would grasp her body. Onimusha's hunger could no longer be stopped, hands grasping the woman as the bladed underside of his fingers began to dig into her skin. There was not a sound from the hollow and all that could be heard for in the distance were the agonizing screams of the confused female. Within moments, there were no more screams just complete silence as the creature had bitten off the top half of the woman's body; chewing ever so happily upon the delicious morsel.
The hollow had already consumed the woman's soul, the crunchy body of the woman being nothing more than desert after a good meal. In essence, both human male and female Shinigami would attempt to stop this but by the time they reach a good enough distance to actually stop the creature, it would already be too late. The woman was gone, her soul consumed by this creature as it soon began to regain strength when suddenly, it bellowed a hollow call unlike anything one had ever heard. Thousands upon thousands of shadows began to dance before emerging from the darkness came at least a hundred hollow. What exactly were these creatures here for? This question would be answered very shortly as all the creatures moved toward the lonely hollow.
The countless hollows who moved toward Animus at great speeds would ram themselves into the creature but instead of being blown away, Onimusha's body seemed to "Eat" the other hollows. More and more hollows piled onto one another as if some giant orgy and not before long, all that lay before the Quincy and Shinigami was a giant white pulsating blob. This grotesque creation would remain in such form for a few moments before slowly beginning to shrink in size. From the outside, it looked as if something within was draining the liquid from the giant blob causing it to decrease in size. Not before long, the shadows seemed to possess a mind of their own as darkness consumed the blob; completely covering it. Once the dark blob shrunk to a size of no more than 20 feet tall, from the top of the darkness would emerge a single head; its hollow mask completely different from before.
Its hollow mask changed from the usual hollow like mask to one reminiscent of a Samurai's Oni mask usually worn in battle. The shadows from before completely changed, now acting as clothes for this 20 foot tall creature; its body hidden behind the black cloak. What now stood before them was no mere hollow -- no, it was a Gillian, a Menos Grande.

Thermidor's face contorted, watching the grotesque display, watching as the hollow evolved from consuming it's prey. To say it was a horrible sight would be undermining just how it looked. He did well to try to not look, though curious -- there was some hope that later on he would push the sight into the depths of his mind. His hands dropped to his sides just as the transformation completed, head shaking in disbelief. A gillian, it has transformed into a gillian in front of his eyes. He knew he Hollow phases, and knew that his power was not enough to fell this enemy.
"What the fu--, unbelievable. We can't kill this thing."
With a pivot, he shifted his weight off one foot into a run before screen stepping into a building complex, and then using adjacent buildings to make his exit. He needed to survive to live another day.
"Good luck, Shinigami -- Heh."

The Shinigami watched in horror as her enemy transformed before her very eyes. Turning to get a reassuring glance from her companion, she watched in even greater horror as the Quincey slid away in retreat. "Un-fucking believable." The shinigami said blankly. Screaming after the gunman, she insulted his courage and his manhood. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU COWARD?! LEAVING A GIRL TO FEND FOR HERSELF."
Knowing that it wasnt wise to face a Gillian class hollow on her own, A shunpo carried her away into the cover of darkness and trees. A sliding door opened to the soul society, and the Shinigami left the human world behind in hopes she could find a stronger member of the soul society to handle the mess.
