Shikai [Kido]
[/ul] [/li][li] Stage #2 [/ul] [/li][li] Stage #3 , allowing G to perform them for less spiritual cost, improved size and grander power, as long as the sword is used as a medium; ie. A single sword strike could unleash some Thunderstorm Ravens. Chantless rules still apply to spells used in conjunction with the sword. [/ul][/li][/ul] [/blockquote]

Hmm. As long as we all understand the caveat that the Stage One Shikai can only inflict as much extra damage as G has received. Paralysis and numbing seems like an additional effect to me. It needs to be first measured, in terms of rounds, and either needs to be removed or made a separate upgrade of it's own.
Stage Three, either enhancing / absorbing lightning-based Kido or creating lightning cutters. Pick one.
Bankai, Stage Four. I don't like this. I don't like that it both creates a massive blast initially, as well as allows the user to discharge lightning (the fastest form of attack, usually) at any spiritual target within 160 meters at whim. The damage and paralysis are still not quantified. Not only that, but you retain a powerful cutting weapon through this all.
Bankai, Stage Five. Despite delivering an intensely powerful blast, it is fast-moving and can be directed at high speed. It does not dissipate the Bankai after the blast, and again leaves you also with a powerful cutting weapon.
And on a whole, I dislike the cutting of the higher ranks. We don't have a real established system of who can cut who, only that higher ranks are harder for lower ranks to cut. No amount of zanpaktou skill or ability can make up for an innate difference in the power and quantity of one's reiatsu, which is the vital force behind the difference in cutting.

Noted and heavily edited.
The first stage was something devious and I debated over forever, and I now see that it's gonna be a pain to try and measure the power based on the damage taken, so I've shuffled the abilities around and replaced the first. Bankai has also been removed, since that's a long way off and I can't decide what do to with it yet.
