Ryozo hadn't felt like going to class. Really, it was rather bothersome to show up every day, only to sit and listen to something he, frankly, didn't care much about. Indeed, the blue sky was much more interesting.
The white-haired teen lay lazily in a fresh bed of bright, healthy green grass, with a small, coin-like object in his hands. This was something very important to him, though he treated it as if it were not, flipping it up and catching it as it fell back towards him. The air was mostly still, save for a zephyr here and there. Even the water of the river seemed somehow still, though, he swore that, for a fleeting, ephemeral moment, it seemed to rush, to move with such eagerness.
Must be my imagination...was his only thought as he sat up, slowly, turning his head from the serene waters. There were few others in the park that day, only a random child here and there, with their parents not too far off. Pocketing the coin, Ryozo rose to his feet slowly, moving with light footsteps towards the waters edge.

The day had begun as the days usually had. Waking up from a rather lumpy bed, he didn't bother to do much tidying to himself or his room. Of course, normal college students would have surely been awake earlier than this, and would have surely been to school by now. Fortunately, he was in no way a typical student or a student at all for that matter. Slipping on some casual wear -- a blue pair of jeans and a simple white tee, he left his apartment.
The light of day was rather powerful on his back as he walked along the riverside. In the day he found himself walking this same path back and forth; wasting large amounts of time this way. He had yet to find any companions in this town and as such he had kept to himself, save his old-lady of a landlord who charged obscene amounts of rent.
Today was a bit different though, typically the daytime wasn't booming with activity of any sort of the spiritual kind. The hollow and the sort stuck to the night to stalk their prey, typically. However, today something felt different, something was a bit off. What exactly was going on?
As he continued to walk on, he couldn't help but notice a male -- about the same age as he, walking to the water's edge. Something was a bit off with this male too, was it him? His gait slowed to a crawl as he slowly walked by the male.

Ryozo was beginning to think it wasn't simply his imagination earlier, as he was beginning to sense multiple abnormal reiatsus about. As he attempted to decipher each of them, he retrieved teh coin from within his pocket once more, setting it upon his thumb and flipping it upwards, before catching it. He continued doing this as he attempted to makes sense of the spiritual energies around him. One of which was very different from that of a Hollow, and different still from that of a Shinigami. Indeed, it was much closer to his own. The other was very obviously Hollow-like in nature, but seemed farther away. Ryozo was, however, unskilled in all things dealing with Reiatsu, and as such, was unsure.
However, as a male, about the same age as Ryozo, passed slowly behind him, he was sure this was one of the sources. Turning his head, he looked directly at the figure, his face stern and apathetic, despite his surprise. Nothing was said by Ryozo, due to his unsure attitude towards his assumption, and his own nature, which was secluded at best. Turning his head from the stranger, he set his gaze back upon the still waters.

He was of course certain, by the time he had gained a bit of distance from the boy, that the boy was exhuming some sort of reiatsu. Though, the reiatsu wasn't of anything he felt before. It was a tad wild and underdeveloped, it puzzled him so. What was this kid?
Of course, he'd also notice through his peripheral that the guy had looked at him. It only took a slight bit of analytical prowess to notice that the guy had prior to Thermidor's walking near him not taken his gaze away from the water even though many people had passed. He quickly concluded that boy must have felt Thermidor's own reiatsu. There had never been information on such an event imparted to him. He stopped in his tracks and pivoted, spinning on his heels to turn himself back around.
It didn't rationalize through his mind that it may be too rash to take the direct approach. Simply put, if the boy looked at him like he was stupid Thermidor was probably just mistaken. He would take his chances. And so, he quickly -- at least compared to his former pace, moved in the boys direction extending a hand upwards and waving it from side to side.
"Hey! You!" He shouted.

Ryozo felt that the boy had passed, and then did not lift his eyes from the water. A few moments passed of Ryozo simply scanning the water for any abnormalities, until he noticed out of his peripheral vision that the boy, who Ryozo was still fairly certain was the source of one of the reiatsus about, had turned and was now coming towards him once more. Still, the white-haired boy continued to stare at the water, until he was called to.
Turning, he assumed that the other boy had sensed his reiatsu as well, which was much more prominent than any normal Human. He knew this much and more due to his ties to a Shinigami, the likes of which he had not seen in years. Regardless, he was unsure how to act, as he had never come across anything with a reiatsu quite like this boy's.
"Me?" Ryozo asked, his deep, bass voice throwing itself strongly towards the other, silver-haired boy. It was an impossibility for Ryozo to decide exactly what he should say in this situation; if the other boy wasn't approaching him due to his reiatsu, anything related to such would be seen as simply absurd. So, he decided to simply allow the boy to continue on with what he was planning to say.

"Yeah, you." He continued his walk toward the man, before stopping just short of the man's position, looking to the water the man was looking to before looking back to the man. He didn't quite get what was so interesting about the water. It didn't matter, his head shook a bit.
"Hm." His brain searched for the words to convey what he had to say concisely, he really never had been in a situation before. However, from this close he could truly see the boy in fact was the progenitor of a portion of the reiatsu. But what was the other portion?
"That is you?. . Isn't it?" He expected the man to understand. Yet, even if he was responsible for a portion of the reiatsu there was still something more. .

I was fast. Yes, I had made sure of that. As I had moved across the waters, fast enough to not even cause a ripple, I examined the strange young boy who had stared so intently for a moment. Hiding behind a building, quickly, I stopped to consider things. Had I been seen? I wasn't sure; but something was definitely amiss here. I wasn't quite that adept at discovering and sensing the reiatsu of those people around me. However, I was good enough to feel an assorted number of energies floating about, and it was more than enough to draw me to this area. If there was one good thing about this hunger, it was the ability to find people to sate it; interesting people.
People that I wanted to meet. They, however, would most likely not wish to meet me. I knew, though, that my form was monstrous. A dark creature from a nightmare, vaguely human in appearance, a crown of thick white bone covering my skull, while midnight skin adorned my whole body. I looked more like an ape than a man, I suppose, but there was naught that could be done about that. Except... there was. I knew that I wanted to go to these people; talk to these people, but they would most likely attack me without question, and for that I couldn't blame them. Most of my kind are mindless killers, simply looking to sate the spiritual hunger that can never be quenched.
I, for some unknown reason, still have a mind behind this inane feeling of the need to glut myself, and I fully meant to use that to my advantage. I would quench and overcome this disgustingly gross feeling that was embodied within my soul, but that would mean taking the lives of souls. The stronger the soul, the less I would need to devour... and as such, that was my question. I felt particularly drawn to this place, I suppose, because I could feel such a strong feeling of power here that I was almost afraid. It meant that there was more than one person who would be able to see me...
It was here that I had been drawn, and as such, I would begin some investigation, I suppose. Gathering my reiatsu, I would begin to allow it to sift through my body. Instantly, sharp pain filled me as the creature that I was began to contort itself. The overbearingly long front limbs began to shrink; the white cranium began to condense. All around me, my body, which was too large to be human, was growing shorter and shorter, until, after a moment, I was formed completely in the shape of man. However, the transformation wasn't over. The black skin that held me began to twist and whirl; color was added to my flesh that previously hadn't been there.
Hair began to grow on the top of my head, and my hands grew profound fingers, specifically the thumb. I had nails, and I could feel green eyes beginning to appear. The color of my skin would be brown, Hispanic of tint, and my hair would grow out to be about down to the shoulder, although in wild disarray, and green eyes bejeweled the once-empty sockets. If I could look at myself, I knew that I would be beautiful. That is how I wanted it to be; how I wish that I were, absolutely and completely beautiful.
My hole, which was as near to the center of my chest, would then be covered by the appearance of clothes. A blue tee shirt, navy colored jeans, and black shoes would adorn my feet. There I was, completely mortal in appearance... to those that would be capable of seeing me. Smiling, I knew that I had human teeth, and then I knew that it was time for me to meet those that had practically summoned me here due to their strength. Flexing my right hand, I'd then release the grip and step out from behind the alley way, and begin walking back towards the lake.
I saw the boy that I had noticed previously; now, he had been hailed by another stranger, and it looked like the two were about to converse. I was curious about their conversation... so I would walk closer. Hopefully, I'd be able to pick up something from the topics. And then, maybe I'd begin my feast...

Yes, this was probably the best way to put it. Despite the fact that it still made one look like a idiot if whom one was speaking with really did not have anything to do with any powerful reiatsu, it was a much better alternative than being completely direct.
"Hn. Yeah, which answers my question about you." Ryozo retorted, glad that the coming awkwardness was swept away by the confirmation of his suspicions. With his question answered, he turned only his head towards the water once more, before allowing his eyes to raise, gazing past the river. The other source of energy was getting closer, but he was unsure. His original thought was that it belonged to a Hollow, but his own doubt had turned his thoughts down a different path; he had only encountered a single Hollow, and had seen that the general trend was that they were large. If it was as close as it felt, he would surely see it...
"Do you feel that? The other one." Still, Ryozo felt the need to be obscure. He wasn't exactly sure why, perhaps he was subconsciously paranoid that another was listening, or perhaps he was simply nervous about meeting another with the ability to sense reiatsu.

He nodded in approval of his methods. Apparently, everything was good on this end. Everything that needed to be confirmed, was, except that one crucial fact. What was this boy? How could he sense reiatsu?
Despite this, there was an immediate problem. Now that he had been exposed to the boy's reiatsu closely and directly he had taken survey of it. It was stored in some esoteric part of his mind, synaptics connecting his reiatsu with a specific feeling to proper differentiate it later. It was because of this that he could properly distinguish the boy's reiatsu from whatever else was exhuming reiatsu. There were surely different and distinct.
Something called out to him in his blood, a burning sensation. It caused literal flood of feelings anger, heightened awareness, solace, hate -- it was unusual. Never had he felt feelings so strong, it was almost overpowering. Of course, he visually didn't show any signs of this. His heart raced; he couldn't be sure of reason or origin for these sudden feelings.
"You need to tell me this quickly as it might be the difference between your life and death; Are you human?" His voice was cold and blunt, the hair on the back of his neck standing up abruptly as he took a quick glance around. The approaching figure was noticed, but not directly made gesture too, who was it?

My steps had, indeed, taken me close enough to listen to the words of the chosen targets. As my emerald optics viewed the two conversationalists; both gray haired anomalies, by my own perceptions, I heard the one piece of information that I had needed. They both could, indeed, sense reiatsu. Although they were being cryptic about their conversation, probably in the chance that somebody near by was listening to them and thought that they might otherwise be crazy, I could denote the meaning behind their words, for my mind was quick, no matter the hunter that lay just behind it, attempting to wrest control of my body to begin devouring these young ones.
They both had a strong reiatsu, but one seemed to me to be more skilled at fighting than the other. He had a very rugged appearance, with messed hair rather than plaited; the one that had approached the boy who might or might not have seen me from across the waters. It was he that I was going to have to be the most wary about, that much is for sure. Developing a human habit upon the spot, I felt my lower lip reaching towards the innards of my mouth, where my right canines would pinch against the lip in a pursed look encompassed my face. I was quite clearly in thought.
How to proceed? I was human in form, but if they were both aware of reiatsu, they'd be able to tell that mine was different. But how different? Had they ever experienced a Hollow's reiatsu before? Would they be able to differentiate between mine and these two people? As I thought about this some more, the rugged one asked another one that caught my attention. "Are you human?" If he had asked me that question, it might have proved difficult for me to continue. Although I'm a ravenous monster with few good qualities about me, I still do so hate to tell a lie. It just feels wrong...
Hrm. Either way, now seemed like the best time to introduce myself. Walking towards the two, I'd halt, allowing my dark hair to catch within the breeze, blowing across my face as my eyes took in the full sight of the two humans who stood before me. Smiling, then, I'd wave, allowing index, middle, ring, and pinkey fingers of the right hand to wiggle a bit, and then I'd introduce myself.
"Hola, guys. Como estas?"

Was this guy thinking the same thing Ryozo was? Perhaps his assumptions were correct, in believing that a Hollow was nearby. The question itself was an easy one to answer, and now its reasons seemed to be clear to Ryozo. Could some Hollow manifest themselves as Humans? This was a new concept to Ryozo, but still, why would a Hollow answer "no" to a question like that? He should expect the answer Ryozo would give.
"Ye-" Ryozo was cut off as another entered the conversation, a deeply tanned, dark-haired man. His face was obscured by his lengthy hair, which a zephyr had caught and thrown about. Ryozo had a limited knowledge of Spanish, and understood a simple "hola", which the man had thrown out. The following was familiar to Ryozo was well, though he was not quite as sure. How are you, was it?
He simply decided to allow the other boy to speak first, as Ryozo felt the other reiatsu coming from this man. It was certain, this close, but he was indeed Human. Was he mistaken in thinking that the reiatsu belonged to a Hollow?

The sudden appearance and talking of the second person, of those other than himself, warranted much suspicion. The two, advent and quincey, had started off their dialogue rather awkwardly, much has humans usually did. It was odd for the third to come in the way he did; extending ever so polite chit-chat.
He shook his head a bit as he attempted to make sense of the reiatsu about. The boy's reiatsu was still there, something he had never felt before, distinct. However, this second man's was completely different, even from that of his own, but felt more familiar. One thing for sure was, from this close he could tell that the man most certainly wasn't human, which only left one other theory. Again he was blunt in his dialogue, turning to the Hispanic man a bit, backing off a fair distance whilst he did so.
"You. . most certainly. . are. . . not human." He bellowed as his right hand rose from his side to point directly toward him.

(OOC: <_<;; Sorry I didn't post Ryozo, but I worked 10 hours yesterday on zero hours of sleep. I came home and crashed. >_>;; And just so you know, I work 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. tonight, so I'll be home after that to post.)
It'd appear that my sudden entrance and attempt at dialogue had arisen suspicion amongst these two humans. How very... interesting. I could tell by their sudden defensive stance that they were certainly expecting something to happen, but what was it? Were they simply jumping at shadows? Perhaps that is what I would accuse them of. After all, here I was in a complete human form, and the only thing they had to guide them was a sense of reiatsu. Aside from that, there were other spiritual creatures that weren't Hollows that walked amongst the land of the living.
Raising my right eyebrow, I'd examine the rugged man, the one that I'd assumed would be the troublemaker, and almost laughed at how well I'd judged the man's quick reactions and poor thinking aptitude. Smiling, my green eyes would glance towards the man's and I'd say, "Cool down there, amigo; que es tu problema?" As I spoke, both of my hands would raise about halfway, attempting to perform a calming gesture. "No es una buena idea to accuse people of being inhuman in the middle of a crowded place, si?"
Chuckling, I'd continue. "Besides, if I'm not Human, then what do you think I am?"

((Lul. I know you work, I wasn't serious, 'cause I knew you would post whenever possible since you had just made the site. xD))
Yes, the other man had felt the very same thing that Ryozo had: the sudden intruder was most definitely not Human, and judging by his actions, probably assumed he was a Hollow. Or, at least, dangerous. This put Ryozo on edge, as it only backed up his suspicions.
The man hadn't quite denied being inhuman, but he was far too calm about such an accusation for Ryozo to be content. Ryozo's knowledge of Spanish was limited to what the man had said before, and now he was only going off of context clues. Still, he was speaking towards Ryozo's 'companion', and not him.
The last question, phrased in entirely English, put Ryozo's mind to work. If he wasn't Human, what was he? A Hollow? Shinigami? Dead soul? Who the hell knew?
Ryozo didn't.

A small chuckle turned into a full fledged laugh as his extended hand was placed at the base of his forehead to support it's rocking during such. Whatever this thing was, it was way too calm for his liking. It thought too little of him, as if his appearance was indicative of his thinking processes. He regained his composure.
"It is pretty simple really." A pause. "I know you are not Shinigami nor Human. I have met, conversed, and know the feeling of such reiatsu. You cannot be a human soul trapped on this earth either. . " He pointed at the creature. "No chain and not to mention your calmness and lack of confusion."
A slight smile. "That only leaves two more options. Either you are a Hollow or something else. Either of which are not good. No one is going to hear this either, or if they do they probably won't think anything of it, just some college kids fooling around, eh?"
His hand slightly tensed as he waited for a reply.

I listened to the boy chuckle, but I was beginning to wonder, who was the true leader in this situation? This kid who was doing all the talking, or the kid who was doing none? As the rugged boy continued to prattle on, I'd allow my eyes to lazily begin observing the other one in earnest. After I did a casual glance up and down his body, I would turn my attention back to the other one, who had just finished his accusation, definitely pinning me as a Hollow. Chuckling, I'd then tilt my head to the left side and begin a gentle smirk.
"Chico, la problema es tu, no es mi, si? You seem to be the uppity one here; no matter what I am, whether I was human, Hollow, Shinigami, or anything else, it wouldn't matter anyways, yeah? I know your kind," I had met enough Quinceys at this point to recognize the hostile attitude and the superiority complex, "and I know that so long as I'm not disturbing the peace, there's not much that you're supposed to do anyways, hrm? Unless you just absolutely hate things that are inhuman... and given your history I don't suppose that I could blame you, eh?"
I paused then, the smirk that had begun earlier now completely filled my face. "But if you really wanna do somethin' about it... go ahead, try it." As I spoke, my hands shifted into the pockets of the fake clothing, waiting to see what the kid would do. Maybe this would be more fun than I had originally thought...

Chains? What?
Ryozo had a limited knowledge of spiritual things. Reiatsu was something he knew about, and Hollows. Shinigami, too. The fact that dead humans were turned into spirits was knowledge to him, as well. There were many questions he had, however, and little that he knew aside from these things. It hadn't quite occurred to Ryozo that the spirits could be confused after death, but with what the other man had said, it seemed that the cocky Hispanic before them had to be a Hollow, or something that even the other kid didn't know.
Indeed, the man before them was very cocky, and far too calm. It seemed there was something he knew that they didn't, but, Hollows were mindless, weren't they? Or, at least they appeared so, only moving about on instinct and attacking their prey just to live. This man had neither the shape nor the demeanor of a Hollow. His reiatsu said differently, but that didn't say much too Ryozo. Ryozo was unsure, however, of the Hispanic man's intentions. Were they hostile?
And what had he meant by "your kind". Yes, he was not speaking to Ryozo, was the other boy different? They had similar reiatsus, Ryozo could tell that much, and he surely wasn't a Shinigami or a Hollow. Was he still human? Damn, there's too much I don't know, and this situation looks like it could get dangerous...
The coin was still in Ryozo's hand. Yes, it was his primary means of fighting, and if a fight broke loose, he would be sure to have it. However, he preferred to avoid using it, as any damages to it could be extremely dangerous. As such, he pocketed the coin, being sure that it would not fall out should he need to move quickly. Ryozo's hands clenched tightly.

"You think there is an etiquette? You're sadly mistaken. When it comes to Hollow and the like, there is none."
His hands raised quickly as he yelled out, in order to surprise the people in the area into running away. "WHAT?! A BIO HAZARD IN THE WATER?" It was random, but likely sufficient. Some people immediately began running from the area others gawking for a moment before running off as well. No one wanted to risk being caught in such.
His still raised right hand shimmered in a sort of ambient brightness, the light generated emanating from it's center growing with every fleeting second. Grasping on what seemed to be like the light itself, a structure formed; the handle of a gun seemingly forging itself from nothing but air and light. With time, approximately a second, the entire weapon formed -- it was a rather shiny Handgun, bearing no slot to load a clip or an actual trigger.
"Run, kid!" He shouted, taking his own advice as he took off away from the water's edge toward inland, watching the Hispanic man as he did do.
The right hand of his raised to the Hispanic man's level, from the flailing/running position, as the imitation of the pulling of a trigger commenced, repeating three times. Small blue bullets emanated forth from the muzzle firing at velocities akin to that of paintballs. The power of these bullets were exactly proportional to their flight-speed, in other words, these bullets -- rather normal in speed were rather normal in power. They likely wouldn't do much damage against an external hollow skin, but they would probably deter it some. He needed to buy time for the kid, he didn't know if the boy was capable of combat.

So, it would seem as if the boneheaded kid was certainly going to take the offer that I had given him. I watched as he quickly jumped backwards, and I found that I was correct in my assumption of race; as blue light raced around the man's hand and began to condense, it was quick to see the Reibuki, which was the Quincey's staple weapon. Apparently this one's weapon was that of a... gun? Really? That was quite surprising. As the rugged boy gave the command to the timid one to run, I'd myself wait for just a moment before taking one strong jump backwards, towards the water's surface, as I watched the man's fingers quickly jerk the trigger of his weapon thrice.
The three spiritual energy bullets were, fortunately, not going that fast. This was the time of the competition where I would begin to judge my opponent's strengths and weaknesses. It was obvious that with a gun, this Quincey was going to favor long-ranged combat. Marking that within my mind, I would continue to watch my opponent to see what he would do. With his steps backwards during our conversation, in addition to his running towards the inland, we now stood perhaps a maximum of fifteen meters away from each other; that was fine for the moment, but I had a strange feeling...
What was the timid boy doing..?
"Hey, kid, watch out! That rugged dude's gone loco, yeah?!" Hopefully that would distract him.

Ryozo understood there were likely others with powers, besides himself. The white-haired boy also understood what his 'companion' was doing when the people began to clear the area, and immediately turned towards the Hispanic man.
"No way." The other boy told him to run. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. Both his opponent and his ally jumped backwards, and Ryozo immediately rushed towards the darker skinned man, attempting to close the distance quickly. Ryozo had noticed his ally's powers, and understood that he needed to be out of the way. As he dashed forward, he moved to the side of his opponent nearest his ally, so that the bullets would not be on a path towards him, but his enemy. The white-haired martial artist simply ignored his opponent's words, his reiatsu and the confidence of his ally was enough to assure him that the Hispanic man was indeed an enemy.
Should Ryozo reach his opponent, a swift kick would be thrown from his back leg, in a motion more akin to 'slapping' than 'thrusting'.
