Thermidor had quickly moved to a more advantageous position, changing his heading as he ran, moving perpendicular to the Hollow and his human acquaintance. He had prepared another volley, each bullet specifically crafted for a certain purpose, to touch upon a specific point of tactical advantage.
The first bullet required almost no charge time at all, flying through the air much quicker than the shots he had concocted earlier. Subsequently, it wasn't very strong at all, but, was aimed not to harm but to lead. It aimed for the spot between the two, in the center of the boy's kicking leg a bit higher than the actual leg. He needed the two to part. The boy was much too arrogant, kicking at what was likely a hollow, Thermidor knowing all too well such direct methods seldom worked out with good results.
The second set of two bullets were shot off in the direction Thermidor was leading the the Hollow to. His first shot would have likely forced the Hollow and boy to jump back to avoid, seeing as they were likely paying attention to each other more than he. These two were placed within the Hollow's likely trajectory, set to connect one and five meters in back of the Hollow should he jump to these ranges.
Subsequently, the bullets were angled in such a way that should they miss they would connect with the water, and likely cause a brief debilitating spray.

Unfortunately for my opponent, I was a close-ranged specialist. The use of melee combat would be his undoing, at least for right now. I witnessed his movement as he began to run towards me, and I knew that I could take advantage of the situation quite easily. Reiatsu would fill my being, but it would instead be targeted to one specific location. Coming down from my fall, I'd land upon the surface of the water, but by then, my transformation would be complete. The hand closest to my opponent, which was my left, was different.
The entire left arm, which had once been human-like in appearance, was now something much different. A small shield of black steel, about one square foot in size, which the body had transformed into, was now in place of the arm. Although heavier, I had plenty of strength to wield the weapon, which would prove especially effective due to the transformation. Not a smooth shield at all, but instead one covered with literally dozens of small, sharp spikes, which I would then use to my whim. Since, by this point, he had already begun his kick, I would simply do the easiest thing.
Positioning my arm specifically so that it would strike the kick already coming my way, I'd also lean forward and initiate a Sonido, sending myself hurtling forward, the arm positioned perfectly to ram straight into the leg, where the combination of sudden speed and surprise attack with a multitude of sharp materials would sunder into the boy's leg, hopefully removing his capability of running. I wouldn't stay long, however. Pulling back immediately after making contact, I'd perform another jump, this time still further back from my two opponents, which would be directly in the front of the Quincey.
However, my movements here had still given the Quincey the time that he had needed to get some shots off, and it would appear as if I had walked straight into one (This would be the original shot). As the tiny reiatsu bullet struck my body, I'd feel the strength of a decently swung punch fill my right shoulder with pain; luckily, the shot lacked the amount of reiatsu it would need even to draw blood, and my new positioning allowed me the capability of being nowhere near his other two shots.
I couldn't grow cocky here, though. These boys were definitely people who had obviously been in fights before, and I knew better than to count either of them out. Both could still surprise me, but it was my sincerest hope that I had at least taken one out of the fight permanently.

Perhaps rushing in wasn't the best plan. Ryozo had hoped to catch the, what he was sure was a Hollow, off guard by charging in immediately. However, he had reacted quicker than expected and took Ryozo by surprise. The kick wasn't as strong as it could have been-- it was made for speed, and Ryozo was still intending on sizing his opponent up first. This lack of the full amount of momentum possible aided in diminishing the power of the blow only slightly, as the blow itself came more from his opponent than himself.
Ryozo moved with the attack backwards, the spikes digging into his flesh. Luckily, they weren't large spikes, but small and numerous instead, connecting many more times but not extremely deep. As his opponent's sonido finished, a movement similar to one he knew himself, he was sent flying backwards, his back moving parallel to the ground. Throwing his weight backwards, he landed upon a single hand, while his other dug into his pocket. It seemed it was already time to call upon his Advent, and as he removed the coin from his pocket, he pushed off of his hand to land, skidding backwards, with most of his weight upon his healthy leg.
"Damn, already..." Ryozo mumbled, looking down at his coin. Tossing it a few feet in front of him, he sent a bit of his reiatsu through it, allowing it to expand into its true form.
A large, fully wooden, grand piano materialized before him. Eying his opponent, he walked slowly towards it, being easy on his leg, and sat down upon the stool before it. Both hands slammed hard against the keys, letting a single, jarred, and unmelodious note ring through the sky.
All water about the area moved ever so slightly, though unnoticeably unless anyone was paying special attention to it.

The firing of his bullets and the lapse of time between each shot and connection afforded him time to think. He could see the battle between the two as it played out, his own companion struck rather hard and tossed back several feet. His began taking on a familiar glow. As he had thought; fighting a hollow one on one was not a good idea, this one seemed to be even more vicious at close range. His companion then did something he did not expect, what was that? Was that a piano. . how?
He didn't think on it more, he didn't want to cut it too close. By this time the gun of his had stored up ample energy to release a deadly shot. His gun pointed toward the Hollow as it jumped, and once Thermidor was sure of it's angle and where it would land, the shot was released. He targeted not where the Hollow was at the time, but where he was sure to land, seeing that from the air there was little the Hollow could do to change it's trajectory. This shot was several times stronger than the rest and thus proportionally slower. However, he had calculated this into the timing of his shot. If all went well the Hollow would land directly into the shot.
Thermidor continued running his perpendicular track taking him further away from the two.

Success! As the wall of spikes that I had created penetrated the flesh of my opponent, my body had seen sailing backwards. I knew now that the opponent was likely going to be out of the battle; if he had been foolish enough to so quickly rush me, it made sense, within my mind, that that was probably what he considered himself to be skilled at; hand to hand combat. That also most likely meant that my opponent wasn't going to be able to do much, so with my jump backwards, my sense of elation had put me at risk. I hadn't really been considering the actions of my other opponent, the Quincey, and that proved to be a mistake.
The boy had been biding his time, gathering reiatsu within the handgun that was his weapon, and he was certainly not going to be shy about applying it. I could feel, rather than see, the buildup of the reiatsu around the boy's gun, and knew instinctively that I was in danger. Not only that, but my eyes caught the sight of something strange. The boy, who had made it back to the land, had... what? Conjured a piano? It was then that the shot from the Quincey would be fired, the orb of energy flying towards me at a rapid pace. I didn't have much time, so I did the only thing that I could.
Raising my left arm, which was imbued with the spiked steel shield, I'd feel the reiatsu collide with the arm, and penetrate deeply into the flesh. Although the arm had been transformed into steel, the attack still left a devastating impact, sending me flying backwards perhaps a foot. I could also feel blood beginning to let from the arm, and when I tried to move it, I could easily feel that the arm was definitely broken. Damn, this wasn't good. Letting the arm fall down to my side, it was then that I heard something chilling. The boy with the piano had set down to begin to play... a singular, jarring note.
Once more, I could sense the building of reiatsu around me, but unlike with the Quincey's attack, I couldn't tell where this energy was moving towards, where it was directed. I was beginning to panic- perhaps I couldn't take on these two busybodies by myself. I still needed a little while to recharge my Metamorfosis, but there were still things that I was capable of doing. It was clear to me now that I needed to take care of that Quincey here, or else things could get even worse.
With my wounded arm at my side, I'd begin a quick sprint towards the shore, matching the trajectory of the Quincey and watching the gun to ensure that if he tried to fire some shorts my way, I would be capable of readily avoiding any attacks. Hopefully there wasn't anything more dangerous coming my way now.

Ryozo glanced back towards his opponent, being sure that he was not rushing him. Indeed, he was not, as his ally had apparently sent him sprawling backwards a bit. Now that he had revealed his piano, and had sat down to play, he was extremely vulnerable. This was easily the most serious situation he had been in thus far, and as such Ryozo wished to prepare mentally before beginning his performance. For a moment, he closed his eyes, his mind rushing through everything he had done to prepare himself for such a situation. A quick sigh, and his eyes were open once more. Ryozo noticed his opponent heading towards to shore, which was indeed an advantage for Ryozo.
The white-haired pianist's fingers began to move with dexterity, their touch lingering only for a moment upon a single black or white key. The melody which arose was quick in tempo, each note lasting for only an ephemeral moment. The melody flowed with grace, as opposed to the original note which Ryozo had played. As the song began to ring into the air, the water within the river, near his opponent, began to rise in preparation. Though unnoticeable physically, the water began to rise in pressure at an excruciating rate. Within a moment, the water was as hard as steel.
Suddenly, the song hit its highest intensity, and the water began moving quickly through the air, first circling the Hollow, staying a bit above the ground. It moved by draining more water from the river, allowing itself to never physically part from the river, thus, as the water came full circle, it created a circular 'barrier' around his opponent. This was done before charging in from an angle at the Hollow's right side. Its shape was simply an abstract one, almost like that of a wave, aiming to crush the opponent with its speed and strength.

Success! The shot seemed to have hit squarely, though not in the original intended place. The sight of blood quelled his soul. Perhaps it was possible to dispatch this demon. He had found an obvious flaw in the monster's strengths, as he now knew he strongest of shots could pierce it's hide. He needed only time.
A portion of his Handgun seemed to unlock as it shone that familiar blue. The water that seemed to be conjured up from nowhere surprised him slightly. He had sensed the attenuation of reiatsu in the boy to the water, it was possible it was his doing -- nay it was the only answer. Taking this into account his trajectory again changed, arcing as he took the a short but indirect path to the water, his horizontal motion seeking to take him into the water toward the boy and indirectly in the path of the hollow. He counted on the boy's skills.

This fight was getting a little too dangerous. During my movements towards the shore, I had become increasingly more aware of my surroundings, and it was because of that that I would note the movement of the water before it could spell absolute disaster for me. It was sure, though, that with a broken arm and two long-ranged opponents, that I needed to disappear from this fight. I had done the underestimating, it had appeared, and not them. But I knew that I would remember this fight for a later date, and there would certainly come a time when I would obliterate the both of them for the pain that they had put me through.
Because I could see the water's shape beginning to form before it could come up as a wave, I'd simply perform the next simplest action: one of my opponents, I assumed, was much slower than myself; the boy that had resorted to his gun, the Quincey. His movements seemed to be underdeveloped at this current stage. The other opponent was sitting, which would make him catching up to me extremely difficult. Gathering my reiatsu, I'd quickly dart forward, not once, not even twice, but three times, completely using my Sonido capabilities, which would send me hurtling far past the shore, and deep inland, past the Quincey.
However, I wasn't about to quit this run. Continuing as fast as I could away from the scene, I'd continue running until I believed I was safe. Hopefully, hopefully, they wouldn't be able to catch up.

The water crashed down against the solid ground, leaving behind a moist ground, and nothing more. The reiatsu which belonged to the Hollow had faded, moving farther and farther. The sudden disappearance was surprising; he had moved excruciatingly fast, escaping Ryozo's attack. Despite the failure of removing the Hollow from existence, he had at least survived his first real Hollow experience.
"Damn..." Ryozo pushed the stool away from the piano, before standing before it. Setting his hand against it, he focused his reiatsu through it, condensing it back into its previous coin-like form.
Should the Quincy have stayed behind, and not pursued the Hollow, Ryozo would apprach him as he pocketed the coin, "Ishikawa Ryozo." Extending his hand, he would attempt to introduce himself politely.
Should the opposite have happened, Ryozo would walk in the general direction the two had gone off into. His leg would need treatment, and thus he was unable to sprint after the two. However, he would worry far too much to simply allow his ally to chase after the Hollow, and would feel obligated to at least attempt to move towards them.

It was clear as the Hollow's form faded that it was using some sort of instantaneous body movement skill. Needless to say, when he completed his arc, the Hollow would have already passed him and moved on to whatever destination it desired. He had yet to master of the skill the Quincey used to master such and consequently couldn't catch up if he wanted to. He gave up chase.
As the boy approached him his weapon would simply fade into a set of peculiar light particles, dissipating about the air, that same hand (right) that held the gun extending to take the hand that was extended toward him. He grasped the hand firmly and shook it, releasing it after a shake.
"Maximilian, Thermidor; Call me Thermidor. Also, you should get that checked out. Luckily it seems that the Hollow's skills were physical the damage is probably conventionally treatable. We need to jet before the authorities come around. When things die down return here, we have much to discuss. "
His hands were pocketed as he turned, walking in the direction of his residency. Much had happened, he needed to reflect and rest.

"It's not that bad." Ryozo responded, "I just need to wash it a little, it's not very deep. It'll heal by itself."In reality, the wound was worse than Ryozo put off, but he simply wasn't one to give in to such things. Ignoring any pain in his leg, he walked without any physical signs of an injury. "Much to discuss, huh..." Ryozo mumbled. Indeed, there was much to discuss, though Ryozo did not wish to be a burden. The youth was rather uninformed, and though he knew a bit, there were still things that eluded him, and having to explain such things could be a task. Either way, they both needed time to rest before such things were discussed. Ryozo moved in the direction towards his residence in order to do so. [.e x i t.]
