The now apparent bright amount of light would alert Sepia to an oncoming attack. Due to the seemingly wide nature of the oncoming light, Sepia would not even move. Instead, she would deal with the attack head on. Her 13 chains, protruding from her form, they would act as a defense once again. Her Iron Maiden coffin did possess a tough shell, allowing it to take most attacks. Sepia however, did not wish to damage her nice little home. So instead, her chains would act as the shield. The toughness of her chains are about a few times harder than her actual Iron Maiden shell. Allowing for a very tough defense if applied properly.
The 13 chains would move their way around herself. Wrapping the Iron Maiden in their tough hide. As if that wasn't enough, Sepia would cause the Iron Maiden to spin in place. Increasing her defense as well as allowing most of the damage to disperse once it came into contact with the spinning form. Even after the attack was over, Sepia would simply stand there. Still waiting.

(I’ll let that slide this time, but, for the record, the iron maiden shell you have is only as strong as a normal hollow’s natural body armor… Not invincible iron. Even using your durable chains as a defense, it’s unfeasible that you’re unscathed by a Hado in the 30s and another from a Kido spec. =/)
Chapter 9 – Standoff! The Blade Prodigy Moves In!
“Tch,” Rika Takuya said, frowning at the creature before him. He could see it now, thirty-five meters ahead of him. Sokatsui had cleared away the dust, but he couldn’t perceive any damage that had been done to the beast. Odd. Even Hollows with more extreme spiritual pressure were often damaged by Sokatsui, and especially by the piercing strength of No. 17 Akasenshi Hari, which never failed to pierce a hollow’s hide.
“Mao-san,” He said quietly, just loud enough for her to hear. “If you can, restrain it.” He closed his eyes, stepping towards the Hollow. His next step would be faster, and the next even faster, as he began to run towards the beast, his blade held ready and behind him. He murmured the words to his next spell as he moved closer, eyes narrowed. “Ye lord! Thunder of earth and heaven, roar of midnight loss, shivering fins, steadfast three as bright as the empty soul! But thrice give out your merciful roar!” As he stepped within about ten meters or so, as the chains would, possibly, be bearing down on him, though he hoped Mao had managed to bind the creature, the Shinigami would suddenly disappear.
“Hado no Nijuunana,” He said, appearing out of his Shunpo behind the beast with his three fingers extended towards it, “Sanrai Shunha.” The yellow reiatsu would leap from his fingers suddenly, exploding towards the hollow like grasping claws. At this level of close range, it would be very difficult to dodge his strike. The three talons of energy would seek to pierce into the hollow in between the weaves of the chains that it intended to use to defend. It’s natural armor would be taken apart easily, then. Regardless of the outcome of his kido, Takuya would also bring his wakazashi out horizontally, attempting to slash across the back of the beast. He would be ready to switch into defense if he perceived chains coming at him, canceling his attack.
The Seventh Division was not to be taken lightly.

An irritated sigh left the small body, her hands lowering slightly. Apparently if they wanted any noticeable damage to be dealt, they’d have to move in close. Or… at least one of them would. Oh, how much more simple this would have been if she’d just been willing to speak and go about her business in a different, less shinigami populated area. While she’d fully intended to take the actions Takuya suggested without his suggested, she nodded regardless; silent reassurance that any strikes that came his way would most certainly not hit their target.
Though she had to admit; performing a technique that the opponent may have already witnessed wasn’t the best for catching them off guard. Then again, she’d arrived after the first Hollow had been struck, which meant she may not have seen it at all. Right hand forward, chanting began once more, the words flowing from her lips manifesting into a crimson light about her figure. “Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!” Her eyes narrowed, and the pulsating reiatsu that had surrounded her fired off in a single beam of red light, directly from the palm, and towards the monstrosities iron frame.
Hopefully, she’d be more concerned with the swordsman quickly closing distance between them than a red light, which, given similarities, may have easily been mistaken for another shower of red needles. Of course, should this land, the Hollow would find herself completely bound and immobile, as opposed to a few painful pricks. Time would soon reveal all…

Sepia watched as one of her prey would begin to approach. It had been exactly what she was waiting for. Her chains had a certain range to which they could attack. This entire time, Sepia was simply delaying her attacks until her opponents were obviously in range. With the female shinigami's citing of phrases and their constant barrage of kido, Sepia could already guess an attack was coming. The only thing was, she did not know what type of attack. There were both offensive and then capturing attacks. Uncertain of which was coming her way, she would quickly move out of the line of fire.
Even as she could see the incoming attack, Sepia did nothing. She waited, for when the male was in place, only then would she move. The chains would fly forward, attempting to encircle and capture the male. However, as they beam came bearing her way and she noticed the sudden disappearance of the male, Sepia attempted a risky move. One that could help or kill her. The Iron Maiden doors came flying open, where Sepia would kick off the inner wall of the Iron Maiden sending it backwards. Using the momentum of the kick, Sepia would fly right into the red light. Allowing her real body to be captured while the other still mobile. Though only slightly mobile as it could only move about 13 meters away from the real body.
Unknowingly, she had sent the Iron Maiden directly into the path of the male shinigami. It wasn't until after her real body was captured, did she notice the male shinigami's soul directly behind her. With only a slight glimpse of the male shinigami's form appearing behind the Iron Maiden, she attempted at a draw. Chains emitting forth from the Iron shell, attempting to encircle and capture the male shinigami once more.
Should all this occur, her voice would once again speak. Sepia was already tired of this playing. She wished to move onward to new play areas. "Trade Or no trade?"
If not, well, then there was not much she could do at this point.

Chapter 10 – Strike of The Seventh! This Is The End!
Takuya grinned as his kido tore into the iron coffin that came hurtling his way, effectively stopping it from crashing into him. He quickly rescinded the secondary strike with his wakazashi, bringing his blade out to the side to cut into the chains that were attempting to ensnare him, holding them open long enough for a second Shunpo to carry him out of the effective range of the entangling chains. He was willing to wager getting caught in there wouldn’t be beneficial to him.
“Trade,” Takuya said as the creature spoke, appearing about seven meters away from the iron maiden, being about fifteen meters in total away from the creature itself. “You turn back and go south back into the forest, and I don’t exterminate you.” In truth, Takuya was bluffing slightly. It wasn’t as generous as it seemed; he wasn’t entirely sure he could kill it without Mao’s help. Even so, it’d be a tough battle. He hoped, for all their sakes, the creature took the deal.

A low growl rumbled in the back of the medic’s throat, her hand dropping slightly. If she couldn’t get near it, and she couldn’t hit it with spells, what was there for her to do? She hated the thought of having to rely on another to clean up a mess that was, more or less, her doing. Had they offed her at the beginning, this may not have happened. Letting out a slow breath, Mao’s brows knit together. Kid would have to be implemented carefully, and the moves of their opponent watched with a sharp eye. No spells would be cast at that moment, the female growing a bit more curious at the events coming to be.
’Now they want to talk…?’
Not that she was going to complain. If it got the Hollow out of their hair, she’d accept the civil route, even if it was a bit late. Not intending to let her guard down, the 4th Division Shinigami kept the reiatsu within her concentrated, ready to manifest into an offensive Kido should the need arise. However, she was hoping it wouldn’t resort to that.

"Trade? Trade." Sepia had been caught already. Though she wished to fight some more, she grew weary of this battle. These opponents were tough, something she did not like. She wished to toy with her adversaries, not focus on not dying. Moving the Iron Maiden back to her, she would enter it. Causing the kido the woman used to envelop the Iron Maiden. Locking Sepia within unless the kido was somehow broken. If her opponents would free her from the spell, with 3 sonido's, Sepia would move south. In the direction the shinigami allowed her to travel.

Chapter 10.5 – Sayonara For Now“Mao-san,” Rika Takuya said, watching as the hollow retreated. “There should be a grove of those flowers you seek a little bit to the west.” He watched closely as the coffin-like beast drifted between the trees. “I need to go report this to my superiors… I apologize for leaving so suddenly.” He smiled at her, resheathing his sword. “Good luck, my friend.” And with that, the Shinigami was gone, taken away from the scene with a quick Shunpo. Done playing around, were they? Negotiations made, Mao’s lips pursed. Caution was overruling reason, but if the Hollow had agreed to flee, and Takuya had no intentions of killing, then there was no reason to keep her there. Allowing the reiatsu within the Bakudo to disperse, the Hollow was free to leave, and did just that not even a full second after the light faded. Finally free of danger, the white-haired female sighed, allowing her hand to drop, and the tension within her muscles to ease. “No need to apologize…” the girl said, turning slightly to bow. In truth, she probably should have been the one to apologize, but as long as no grudges were held, there was no reason to drop on her hands and knees and beg for forgiveness. “Thank you for your help…” And thus, she was alone. Eyes shifted to the west, and soon the rest of her body followed, interested in investigating. Thankfully, the travel between point A and point B was miniscule, causing her to arrive at the grove of azure flora within five minutes. She tapped her chin thoughtfully, then set to searching. “No…. No… No…” she moved between each group, her frown growing deeper with each failed study. “Oh!” There it was! The little blue flower she saw so clearly within her mind. She smiled to herself, picking a handful before looking to the sky. Along with the needed flowers came the name she desired long ago. “Forget-Me-Not’s,” she mumbled. “Irony…” With her task complete, the girl shook her head, heading back at her own pace. {Exit.}
