Name: Sasagawa Datenchi
Age: 114
Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 113 lbs.
Appearance:
An elegant individual, usually garbed within the Shihakushō, modified in the common way of the Onmitsukido to be sleeveless, is Sasagawa Datenchi. Noted for her silken black hair that falls past the shoulder, and usually allowed to simply lay across her shoulders instead of being tied up, the woman has a gorgeous complexion that says that she spends a sufficient amount of time outside, but also says that she takes excellent care of her skin.
The woman is fairly thin, and not exactly the tallest of all figures, standing only at 5'5'', but weighing one hundred and fourteen pounds. This weight belies a great deal of speed that the woman has at her disposable, as it is her primary focus. She also likes to spend time on mastering the use of hand to hand combat, or hakuda, and sword fighting, or zanjutsu.
Upon her left arm, which is where her dominant hand rests, is a great number of tattoos; most prominent is a black butterfly, symbolizing her love of beauty, and also a black tulip, mark of her division. Other tattoos, also done in black, race up and around the arm, but there is no specific object or pattern that they are, but rather just the appearance of a thin vine that entangles its' way around the arm.
She wears her zanpakutou, which is in the form of a wakizashi of twenty one centimeters of length, upon her right shoulder, where it is easily and quickly accessible by her dominant hand. Also, around her neck, the woman wears a collar, as a symbol of her chains towards the life of the Shinigami, which she feels she did not actually choose, but rather had forced upon her as an 'only way out' situation.
History: Born as Hinagiku Sayuri within the human world, there was a time that one of the most feared assassins of Soul Society was actually that of a simple human girl. With average intelligence, lack-luster looks, and the inability to be skilled in athletics, the young woman was gawky and unappealing to many people, and as such was often considered to be a waste of a girl. It was because of this that the strange thing happened.
The girl, who had always known that she could see spirits, had simply hidden that fact from the rest of her family, as it would only set her apart even more. She had an above-average reiatsu, which, of course, only made her a target for the Hollows. She had managed to escape death from several Hollows during the course of her life, and because of that she was aware of the Shinigami who walked around the living world. However, she, of course, pretended to be completely unaware of them.
It was the appearance of an Arrancar one day that made things interesting. A berserk Hollow in the guise of Human flesh, it was only the mask that gave the girl way. She was a sadistic freak, and enjoyed the chase that Sayuri gave before finally being captured. In her final moments, she gave out a cry and moved her body as a hand pierced her body. Piercing her straight through the center of the body, she died... or, almost. However, before the Hollow could finish the kill, a Shinigami appeared, and drove off the Hollow.
The human, who was waiting for her soul to appear, would be surprised when it didn't. Sayuri was still alive; after waiting for a few moments, the Shinigami would grow bored of the movement, and would take off. With the Shinigami gone, Sayuri, who had held onto life just to spite the man who had arrived too late to save her, would begin to die. As her spirit came from the body, she would find herself beginning to violently shake, and puke. Her spirit was condensing itself, spinning around to form the thick white substance of the Hollow mask.
However, Sayuri had a strong strength of mind. Her Chain of Fate still intact, barely, Sayuri then managed to repel the invasion of the Hollow mask, and would become just a natural human soul... but with a dark secret. It was then that the Shinigami would return, and perform a Soul Burial upon her. As she traveled the distance into the world of the Spirits, she found that she maintained her memories, and they frightened her.
As she spent time amongst the souls, she learned all about the Shinigami and the Hollows; she knew that she had the potential to be either. However, she had seen how the Hollows had acted, and she had seen how they were ruthlessly hunted down by the Shinigami, and it was then that she made a pact with herself. She would become a Shinigami in order to remain aloof of them. With her high spiritual pressure, it would only be a matter of time before they discovered her, anyways.
Entering the Academy, she would go through the time within the standard seven years. She wasn't exceptionally bright, or talented, and as such, she wasn't placed into the Advanced Classes. Instead, she worked hard and honed her body into a skilled weapon. Learning from some members of the Second Division, she mastered such skills as Shunpo and Hoho, as well as gained a very solid basis of Hakuda. With that done, she graduated from the Academy, having her Asauchi imbued with her soul that would turn it into the Wakizashi that she now has.
With the Academy out of the way, she followed her senpais into the realm of stealth and assassination; the 2nd Division. To show her dedication, she had the Divison symbol tattooed onto her dominant arm, to always be shown off with her sleeveless uniform. She continued to hone her fighting skills, until she began to get some extreme instruction within the arts of Kido. Like most of the people outside of the advanced classes, she had only been given an overview of Kido, as it was thought to be too advanced for the other students to learn.
Although she was shown to be capable, she wasn't marked as particularly adept, and as such, she only began to bother learning techniques that she thought would be the most useful. Her true fighting ability was going to be with her body, not with magic, and as such, spells became only a tertiary matter to her; with the primary being speed and the secondary being strength. With all of these things to spend her time on, it's no surprise that a great number of years has now passed since she had died.
Still, she retains her memories and refuses to share them with anyone, for fear of getting judged or slaughtered as a Hollow, or marked for deceiving anyone and everyone. She hopes that one day, she'll find others like her, who recall their past, but until that time, she vows to keep her silence, for she knows that to break that vow would be pure and utter death for her.

Zanpakutou
Appearance: Airobako, in its' unreleased form, takes upon the appearance of a standard wakizashi. Perhaps twenty centimeters in length at the blade, it's actually shorter than one might come to expect, but it is just long enough to be considered part of the wakizashi class. The blade always gleams with a bright, shining silver, suggesting that its' owner always takes the time to polish her blade. In addition to this, the hilt is made out of a strong metallic base as well, wrapped with black cloth in standard cross-woven style, with a silver cap melded onto the bottom of the zanpakutou. The guard is a blackened metal to match that of the cloth woven around the hilt.
When released, Airobako takes on a different appearance. The silver blade vanishes, leaving in its' place about three meters' worth of two-inch-thick blackened leather. The leather, which is also studded all the way around with tiny black metal spikes, no larger than a centimeter in height and width, is attached into the inside of the zanpakutou's hilt, meaning that it cannot be detached from the weapon. The whip's length, just under ten feet, is highly short for a whip, giving up the common reason for a whip, which is range, for greater control, accuracy, and force behind each strike, requiring Datenshi to be closer to the opponent than one who uses a whip might believe.
Manifestation: A loyal little girl with very bad thoughts on her mind; that is the manifestation that is known as Airobako. Perhaps it's strange to see a manifestation take to its' name so literally, but Airobako is a very straightforward type of spirit who doesn't enjoy to either dilly or dally. The small girl, perhaps three feet in height, is in the appearance of someone who ranges between the ages of five and nine. She has raven black hair, and also wears the Shihakushō, with a small silver cross that is displayed from a silver chain hanging around her neck.
She demands attention, and when it isn't being supplied to her, Airobako will scream and throw temper tantrums. She'll also throw very provocative comments towards people, especially those who are keen to the use of innuendo, which often causes Datenshi to blush, no matter the nature of her job. When Airobako is happy, she'll let Datenshi know by shouting and running around gleefully and without a break, which irritates her wielder to no end.
Inner World: The Inner World is an expansive place, an endless labyrinth in which Datenshi must learn to navigate. The labyrinth, whose walls always seem to expand just high enough to not be capable of seeing over, are highly resistant to most forms of attack, as Datenshi will learn. The purpose of the labyrinth is for Datenshi to learn patience, understanding, memory, and several other important things. The walls' colors are a soft pastel, with a stone floor that prohibits anyone from tunneling through the ground.
The labyrinth is full of traps and pitfalls, creatures that must be defeated, and literally hundreds of challenges. It will be told to Datenchi that in order for her to achieve her greatest strength with her zanpakutou, she will have to be capable of finding the center of the maze and learning the secrets of this and that. Whenever Airobako believes that Datenshi has learned enough about life, love, fighting, passion, fear, and any other thing that Airobako believes is important, she will bestow information such as names and attacks with the zanpakutou.
Release Phrase: "Kaihou goshujin adauchi, Airobako." - "Release your vengeance, Defiled Virgin."
Abilities:
[5] Narashokkou - "Shadow Weaver" - The initial ability of Airobako's shikai is called Shadow Weaver. Capable of manipulating her reiatsu throughout the darkness created by another person or object, she can cause that shadow to do many things, such as move, constrict, bind, strangle, or almost any other form of technique involving the manipulation of the shadow. However, in order for this technique to be used successfully, either Datenshi's or Airobako's shadow must be within the shadow attempting to be manipulated. At this stage, the technique is not capable of causing the shadow to actually lift off of a surface, meaning that only opponents who are upon the ground are capable of being the target of this ability. The shadow, while being manipulated, cannot exceed its' own possible size, meaning that if a shadow covered an area of one square meter before Narashokkou hit it, then it can only be manipulated for a maximum area of one square meter, and must travel across a surface. At all times, Datenshi's and Airobako's shadows may be manipulated. Shadows are, at maximum, the strength of iron. The speed that shadows move is directly related to both the Hoho and Kido specializations; a higher specialization in these abilities will result in a faster, stronger shadow.
[7] Improvement; Because of training with her zanpakutou, as well as applying the technique in battle, Datenshi is now capable of using Narashokkou to reach off of the ground, changing the number of dimensions capable of being attacked from two to three. This opens up a large number of possibilities, meaning that the opponent no longer must be upon the ground in order to be struck. This also allows Datenshi the capability of creating fists, daggers, needles, or other forms of weaponry to strike the opponent with. Also, Datenshi now gains the ability to increase the size of her shadows with her reiatsu, meaning that any shadow that falls under her jurisdiction can actually be doubled in size in order to attack with, meaning that if Airobako strikes an opponent's shadow of one square meters, then she can manipulate up to two square meters of shadow with an attack. Shadows are now, at maximum, the strength of steel. It is important to remember that shadows, while becoming more powerful, do retain their fluidity.
[13] Improvement; After a very long time using Narashakkou, Datenshi and Airobako will gain the ability to split shadows that are within their ability to manipulate. This shows her complete dominance over the shadows, meaning that the opponents who would have once sneered at her inability to strike from a range will now suffer from her wrath. Shadows that have been launched will maintain their shape and strength for up to six seconds after release, in which case they will dissipate into nothing. Shadows launched no longer count towards her maximum area of control, as Datenshi no longer has any control over the shadows once they've been launched. Taking into account the original doubling of distance, Airobako's shadow manipulation allows for manipulation of up to twice the previous improvement's distance, meaning that if she gained control over one square meter of shadow, she could actually manipulate it for up to four square meters. Shadows now have the strength of titanium.
[15] "Naraheigou" - "Shadow Merge" - One of the more important abilities that Datenshi will gain from Airobako, this technique allows for Datenshi to manipulate her reiatsu to allow herself to pass through any shadow creation that she has dominance over. This means that she can merge through her own shadow attacks, giving her many opportunities to strike in unique and unsuspecting ways. This ability consumes very little reiatsu, as she simply melds her reiatsu to resonate with her own attacks, allowing her passage. The technique at this point is considered to be a bit choppy, requiring the briefest moment in time before the passing has occurred; however, to very fast opponents, this time can allow them to easily evade attacks coming from Datenshi through the merging of shadows. This technique may only be utilized if Datenshi is holding Airobako.
[17] Improvement; Doubles the former value of Narashakkou, meaning that if there was only one square meter of shadow to work with, Datenshi could manipulate it as if it were eight square meters. Shadows now have the density of osmium, making them difficult to pierce and very In addition to this, Datenshi becomes more adept at performing Naraheigou, allowing for the transitions to occur more smoothly, meaning less wasted effort, time, and reiatsu.
[18] "Naratsunagari" - "Shadow Link" - The final ability of the zanpakutou before Bankai is achieved, this technique allows for Datenshi to attach shadows that she controls to both her and her opponent's feet. The shadows underneath her own feet can be substituted for other things, such as buildings, in order to hold the opponent in place. However, the most common form of this technique is to attach it to Datenshi's feet as well as the opponent's, in order to quickly immobilize, slow, or otherwise hinder the opponent's movement. This ability is especially useful against speedy or strong opponents, as the ability to dodge as well as to create an opening for an attack greatly increase with this ability, as you can restrict, constrain, or even propel the opponent forward, manipulating the shadows like springs. With this technique activated, opponents may never be further away than Datenshi's maximum shadow manipulation distance. If such a thing attempts to happen, then one of three things will happen; Datenshi will fly towards the opponent, the opponent will fly towards Datenshi, or the Shadow Link will snap. This is dependent upon the direction of the flow of force; whoever is generating the most force will cause the other to fly towards them. If both are generating the exact same force, which is very rare, then the link will snap, sending both flying in opposite directions.
[20]"Bankai: Takedakeshii Airobako" - "Final Release: Ferocious Defiled Virgin" - Picture - Perhaps one of the most frightening releases known to those of the Shinigami kind, Takedakeshii Airobako is a large man, who appears trapped inside of a purple Venus Flytrap, whose arms are constrained by a straitjacket, and who has four chains encircling the flytrap, barely keeping it from fully opening, that appear at the four cardinal directions. When summoned, the bankai also releases four pillars that keep the creature chained. Atop the creature's head sits the little girl Airobako; the creature beneath it is her captured tormentor who has been broken into the worthless worm that it is now. Standing over five stories tall, or about 60 feet, the creature, in addition to his massive pillars and chains, has a very large and long shadow. It can manipulate its' own shadows in the same manner as Datenshi. The creature, chained to its' pillars, is incapable of moving, but with its' large amount of shadow manipulation, can easily defend itself.
If the chains are broken, then Datenshi can begin to lose control of the Bankai. With one chain broken, there is still a 95% chance of the creature obeying Datenshi's command. With two chains broken, there becomes an 80% chance of the creature obeying Datenshi's command. With three chains broken, there becomes a 40% chance of the creature obeying Datenshi's commands. With all four chains broken, there is a 20% chance of the creature obeying Datenshi's commands. Any time the creature doesn't respond to Datenshi's command, it will act on its' own according, sewing random destruction (all action will be controlled by a staff member). With the four chains broken, the creature will begin to pull at its' straitjacket. It takes three turns for the straitjacket to rip, in which case, the creature will go absolutely berserk in an attempt to destroy everything around it. Also, if all the chains are broken, then Datenshi must defeat her own Bankai in order to reseal the weapon. Any time that a chain becomes broken, Datenshi must enter the Inner World and undergo tasks to rebuild the Bankai, otherwise it will re-enter the world the next time that it is summoned in the same condition that it was previously.
Beyond basic shadow manipulation that Airobako is capable of performing, Takedakeshii Airobako has its' own special ability, known as "Naradakyuu", or "Shadow Capture Sphere". Converging a great number of shadows upon a single area, the Bankai will capture an opponent within the hardened shadows and attempt to restrain it there. The sphere, blackened like the shadows, cannot be seen through by either the opponent or Datenshi. It usually begins with a larger sphere, and then works to condense the sphere so that there is no question as to the opponent's location. Spherical reduction can occur at up to five feet per second being shrunk. With the opponent captured, Datenshi is capable of striking with Naratsunagari and attempting to defeat an opponent while they are vulnerable. Obviously, the smaller that the Naradakyuu is before Datenshi strikes, the greater the chances of injuring the opponent will be.

Inner Hollow
Appearance: Inocencia appears as a very pale boy, perhaps the age of nine or ten. Inocencia, strangely enough, appears to have a huge detest for wanton violence, but enjoys the sight of people's suffering. It must also be said that Inocencia enjoys causing other people to suffer, but prefers to do it in a way that doesn't involve a great amount of bloodshed, as "red is such a difficult stain to remove".
When he speaks, it is incredibly formal, suggesting that he doesn't know how to get close to people emotionally. The pale boy has blond hair and blue eyes, and is about four feet in height, and perhaps weighs somewhere between 80 and 90 pounds, giving him a thin, almost gaunt, appearance. Inocencia's mask is also of a white color, making him appear almost like a ghost rather than a person. The mask is shaped somewhat strangely; fit to portray the human face, it is devoid of the animalistic appearances that are often common within Hollows. Two blue curves, about an inch in width, appear underneath the eyes of the mask, following the curve of the mask's eye slots.
Mask Appearance: When Datenshi's mask is finally placed upon, black energy will gather within her hand as she pulls the mask over her face. Unlike other Hollow masks, which are usually animalistic or demonic in appearance, the mask granted to Datenshi from Inocencia is also a strange human-like mask, without the shapes or signs of animal appearance. The mask doesn't actually cover Datenshi's whole face; the right cheek, from the nose to the ear, is without a mask. Pale white in color, it also has the blue markings that curve around the underside of the eye slot of the mask.

Kido
Bakudo
Type: Binding Art.
Description: An ability that is both simplistic and useful, and as such it can commonly be seen in practice. It is especially favored amongst members of the Fourth Division, who cannot get a patient to stop struggling against treatment. Gathering Reiatsu, the user will speak the incantation, and then condense the energy as a chain of light from the index and middle fingers of the user's dominant hand, which are held together. The chain will then quickly fly towards the opponent, attempting to act as a restraint to prohibit the opponent from moving. Once bound, the chain is capable of being tied to another object to hold the opponent; the user is not required to maintain the connection between the chain and their hand, allowing them to then perform other actions.
Incantation: My will to succeed be the rope that sustains you; let my breath of light be the light to guide you. Bakudo no Yon: Hainawa!
Restrictions: ---
Bakudō No. 19: Soutei
Type: Art of Binding
Description: The user gathers reiatsu in their left hand’s fingertips, holding their hand out in front of them. The user’s fingers sprout out a rope, splitting up in five separate ropes, all strong and fifteen centimetres in diameter. The ropes then reach towards the target, and wrap themselves around it – usually with one rope around each arm and leg, and one around their neck. Once trapped, the ropes curl further along the limbs until they are either severed or covering the entire body. The ropes around a joint prevent the joint from functioning.
Incantation: Grow! Seed your fruits, grow your roots, sprout your stem, bare your blossom, drop your fruit! Bakudō no Juukyuu: Soutei!
Restrictions: Must know the "Bakudō No. 4: Hainawa"
Bakudō No. 30: Shitotsu Sansen (Way of Binding: Beak-Stab Triple Beam)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: A technique often utilized by higher-level Shinigami due to its' average simplicity, this technique is also known as one of the most useful Bakudō when fighting an opponent. Gathering reiatsu upon his or her index finger, the caster then quickly draws a triangle in front of them, while beginning the incantation for the spell. After the incantation is complete, large spikes, resembling 'bird beaks', will appear at each corner of the triangle. Upon the calling out of the spell's name, the beaks will launch towards the opponent, attempting to strike them in three places. If a strike is successful, the spell's beaks will envelop the opponent at the area of impact, binding them to whatever is behind them.
Incantation: Sign of three warriors, approach and declare war on the forbidden followers. Bakduō no Sanju: Shitotsu Sansen!
Restrictions: Must know Bakudō no Yon: Hainawa.
