A dark chuckle resounded from Neva's person, her digits continuing to crush the weakened body at a painfully slow rate. With no immediate reaction, she was truly beginning to believe that the other Shinigami had damned the other Soul to be crushed to death. Or... as dead as a spirit can be. Either way, it didn't matter much to her. They all tasted the same, whether they were swallowed whole, or licked from her palm as a spiritual jelly.
Alas, her thoughts had wandered to the point that she almost forgot where she was; a critical error that landed her a very nasty wound. The Shinigami had vanished and relocated faster than she could follow, but by the sudden sharp pain in her side, she was well aware of where he was now. Another ear-piercing roar was released from the Hollow, her massive talons simultaneously dropping her victim of torture.
Her arms flailed about in an attempt to rid herself of the problem. Even if her reckless strikes failed to make contact, a well times Sonido would send her larger figure a fair distance away, now placing her on the building the Shinigami previously stood. She growled low, her right hand applying pressure to the bleeding wound. This was slowly starting to become more trouble than it was worth...

Retrieving the blade immediately, foreseeing an attack by the Hollow, had failed him. Azael did not remove it quickly enough, as the Hollow began to flail mindlessly the very moment it was stabbed. A single, powerful blow sent Azael flying backwards. Grimacing as he hit the floor, Azael nursed a small bleeding wound at his side from the spine of the Hollow. Looking back, the Hollow was no longer wherei t had been. Movement caught his eye, as he noticed the Hollow atop the roof he once was.
"Damnit..." Azael said, rising painfully. The damn Hollow was giving him more trouble than he had thought, the sharp pain at his chest a reminder of that. His wrapped right hand pressed firmly against the wound, turning the white wraps crimson. It wasn't life threatening, however. Unsure of what to do next, the Shinigami simply held his sword in a defensive stance, removing his hand from his wound and taking his sword in it once more.

It seemed that neither of them were in especially good condition. Fighting was still possible, but she could no longer decide if the struggle was worth the rewards. The longer she struggled to incapacitate these two Shinigami, the less appealing it seemed to devour them afterwords. No one enjoyed going without eating, especially a Hollow, but rational thought was quickly beginning to retake the hunger-crazed mind. Given the two options, she'd prefer to try again tomorrow, then die hungry today.
"Let us compromise," she spoke. "Patch your wounds and do what you will with your prisoner... Those that can see us will awaken soon, and that would only complicate things, would it not?" she paused. "Perhaps we can settle this another time." Should he say No, he'd have only himself to blame for any additional blood loss. However, if he agreed to this odd sort of 'truce,' Neva's vicious onslaught would cease, and the Hollow would carry herself away in the shadow's veil, and a well placed Sonido.

Azael listened to the Hollow speak rationally. Not many of them did that, though few were capable. Azael understood from the beginning that this one was, and understood his own gain in her offer. Besides that, it was not his duty to exterminate Hollow in the living world, or even in the spiritual one. Thus, he agreed, immediately moving towards his original target, all while keeping his eyes upon the Hollow. "I will agree to this." He spoke as he moved, being sure the Hollow stayed true to her word. Bending down to take the rogue Shinigami, he hefted him up and shunpo'd away. The spiritual world awaited. [.E X I T.]
