The deep voice bellowed out amidst the vast town square of Karakura. Ferus was hungry for something to eat, and you could say he had a sweet tooth - and shinigami tasted best. The ground shook with each step the massive beast took, car alarms rang out randomly throughout the street he walked. He stood rather still, arms to his sides the massive tail swung ominously behind him with heavy swings. An abrupt movement would shoot the large appendage to his flank, and with devastating power it smashed into the side of a medium-sized car. The glass shattered, the entire side was crushed in, and the entire automobile was lifted off its wheels and thrown off of the road entirely.

Patience...
That is what Andrew had always believed in. It worked when he had to deal with his cooking and it works now when he needed to deal with the various hollows that went charging about Karakura town. At the very least he wasn't going to be caught with his pants down. It could have been an arrancar for all he knew. Though he might not have much of a presence, it didn't seem to matter. The shinigami knew that presences aren't everything. A person could appear to be strong, but there is a good chance that the opponent is only putting up a strong front to compensate for something. A true fighter only shows their true nature until it is absolutely necessary. Walking through the streets of Karakura, he listened carefully for the bellow of the hollow and slowly unsheathed his zanpaktou. He watched as the creature tossed a car over its body and immediately spoke. "There is no excuse for what you have done."

The presence of two different reiatsu had quickly been felt by the hollow, and simultaneously a malicious grin etched its way 'pon his facial features; exposing deadly teeth. This large road the Hollow stood on would be completely deserted, the scene and destruction he made earlier were enough to scare off any civilians in the area - besides, this was a business district and it was late at night; after working hours. To each side stood massive skyscrapers that seemed to reach the heavens themselves, this would effectively limit them to the ground below - lest they wish to scale up the large buildings as to escape.
"You talk too much, shinigami.."
Right appendage shot out abruptly to his side. Massive digits pierced into the side of a car that was parked ahead of the one previously smashed. Through brute strength the car was dragged closer to his body, at which point left hand would also dig into the metal construction, and with a mighty roar the vehicle was lifted upwards. The body of the Hollow flexed tightly, and in a display of his herculean strength the car was turned into a projectile as it was thrown at the shinigami just a small distance ahead of him.
Ferus was of course ready for a counter attack or surprise attack, after all, that second reiatsu signature had yet to reveal themselves...[/color] |

Ah… the sweet, noxious scent of death. It drew me and repelled me all in the same breadth. Across the eons I went, traveling through the infinitesimally monumental void that separated Hueco Mundo from the mortal realm - as the sky split and the void released me over the Karakura Town Square, I found myself immediately drawn to a decidedly inhuman youth who stood resolutely before two massive constructs of mortal design.
There. A being garbed just as that woman had been - sheathed in black, carrying an instrument on his waist ... and one of my brethren. He was of a far cruder design than eye, but he rivaled me in size, though whist I commanded the skies, he was restrained to the earth.
But this child… his scent was that of a human, but his soul… it reminded me of the uniformed fighter. What was this creature? There was only one way to find out… with a roar, I tore through the skies, angling my wings to effectuate a blazing dive downward from the heavens. I was but an arrow, and the youth my bulls-eye.
I would not miss.

Then this will be the only thing you get to hear.
As the hollow was about to raise the car up, Andrew knew what he had to do. Sometimes he knew that he was going to have to use some of his skills in kidou in order to take out his opponents. But he wished more than anything that he wouldn't cause too much damage. As the hollow was about to throw the car, the shinigami breathed softly as he spoke. "Broken bindings, spirit of domination, rush against the currents, shatter all sins. Hadou number one, sho!" The palm of his right hand was positioned at the car while his left hand created the cross. This kidou was one of the lesser drastic of the hadou, so at the very least the shinigami was going to cause minimal damage. As he pushed the car away with his kidou, he then turned to look at the human with a glare.
He was going to say something, but then he could feel the presence of a stronger reiatsu than his own. If anything, he was going to be in for a very long night. Looking at the kid, he then shouted to him. "Hey! I hope you're good with that weapon because we're going to be in it for the long haul!" He turned his head up to see the strange opponent come screaming down from the sky. He knew he was at a disadvantage with being stuck on the ground, but there are other tricks he could use to tip the scales to their favor. If he and the strange human worked together, they might be able to see another sunrise.
