Hollow Skills
Hollow Skills are the unique powers that all Hollows can access and wield. It is these abilities that allow them to stand on par, among other things, with the other races in the two worlds. Hollow Points are used to purchase these abilities. Each Hollow Ability costs a single Hollow Point. Hollow Skills have power levels that go in this order, from weakest to strongest; Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, Extreme, and Devastating. Each Rank is considered to be two times as strong as the previous.
Abilities
Cero (Zero)
Level: Average
Description: The user gathers reiatsu to a focal point on their body, such as a fingertip, the tip of a horn, or in their mouth, condensing it into a ball of highly compact spiritual energy. After a few moments of charging, the user releases the Cero as a concentrated beam of reiatsu towards the target. This technique takes longer to prepare for lower level Hollows, and can only make use a fraction of a Hollow’s spiritual energy. This technique can be used once per rank for a Non-Specialist, twice per rank for a Specialist, or three times per rank for a Master. The user may spend extra Hollow Points in order to increase the strength of this ability by one level for every point spent. This ability can only become Very High in strength at maximum.
Restrictions: Must be a Gillian Class Hollow.
Dos Ceros (Two Zeros)
Level: Extreme.
Description: The user gathers twin balls of reiatsu to two nearby focal points, such as horns or fingertips. The user takes a few moments to condense the spiritual energy into highly compacted balls, and then releases them of two beams of highly concentrated spiritual energy. The user can release them as two double-strength individual ceros, or alternatively, as a single, quadruple-strength cero with a much wider angle of release. This technique consumes two Ceros.
Restrictions: Must be an Adjuchas Class Hollow. Must know Cero up to Very High.
Cero Doble (Double Zero)
Level: Extreme.
Description: The user captures and absorbs an opponent’s cero or kido blast of similar caliber, often times by consuming it bodily. The blast is then returned after a few moments of preparation, doubled in strength due to the user’s addition of their own Cero. This attack causes a minimal amount of damage to the user. This technique can be used once per three Ranks for a Non-Specialist, once per two Ranks for a Specialist, or once per Rank for a Master, consuming the a little more spiritual energy than a normal cero.
Restrictions: Must be an Arrancar Class Hollow. Must have Cero. Must have Dos Ceros.
Gran Rey Cero (Grand King Zero)
Level: Devastating.
Description: The user gathers large amounts of reiatsu to a focal point on their body, such as a fingertip, the tip of a horn, or in their mouth, condensing it into a ball of highly compact spiritual energy. After a few moments of charging, the user releases the Cero as a highly concentrated beam of reiatsu towards the target. This technique can be used once per five ranks for a Non-Specialist, once per three ranks for a Specialist, or once per rank for a Master.
Restrictions: Must be an Arrancar Class Hollow. Must have Dos Ceros.
Bala (Bullet)
Level: Very Low
Description: The user gathers and hardens reiatsu around their hand or another focal point of their body very quickly, then releases it forward in an expanding bullet-like shape. This technique is significantly weaker than the Cero, but moves roughly twenty times faster, being nigh instantaneous. It consumes a lesser amount of energy compared to the Cero, but still a fair fraction. This technique can be used once per two ranks for a Non-Specialist, once per rank for a Specialist, or twice per rank for a Master. The user may spend extra Hollow Points in order to increase the strength of this ability by one level for every point spent.
Restrictions: Must be an Adjuchas Class Hollow. Must have Cero.
Balacorte (Bullet Sword)
Level: Low
Description: The user gathers reiatsu, as they do in the Bala technique, around the tip of their sword, hardening it and releasing it forward explosively. The technique, unlike Bala, is released as a tightly concentrated spike that holds the strength of a Bala, but is much sharper. It moves at about ten times the speed of Cero, as a tradeoff for the increased strength. This technique consumes one Bala, using slightly more energy. The user may spend extra Hollow Points in order to increase the strength of this ability by one level for every point spent.
Restrictions: Must be an Arrancar Class Hollow. Must know Bala.
Clamar (To Scream)
Level: Low
Description: The user fuels reiatsu behind their mask, letting loose a massive scream full of energy. This scream is a blast full of concussive energy that, rather than dealing direct damage, slams a wave of repulsive force into the enemy. This wave expands as a half-dome with a ten meter radius and an arc of 180 degrees. This ability can be used once per rank for a Non-Specialist, twice per rank for a Specialist, and thrice per rank for a Master. The user may spend additional Hollow Points in this skill to increase its level by one for each point spent.
Restrictions: Must be a Hollow.
Garra (Claw)
Level: Average
Description: The user fills an appendage with reiatsu, slamming it against a surface. A straight line of reiatsu will explode from this point, shooting towards the opponent. This line is half a meter thick and has a range of twenty meters. It slams into the opponent like a fast-moving blade of energy. This ability can be used once per rank for a Non-Specialist, twice per rank for a Specialist, and thrice per rank for a Master. The user may spend additional Hollow Points in this skill to increase its level by one for each point spent.
Restrictions: Must be a Hollow.
Hombro (Shoulder)
Level: Low
Description: The user gathers reiatsu behind their mask, letting loose a burst of energy from their face and upper body that forms into a wide disk of energy, nearly five meters in radius, that defends the user from a single attack before dissipating. This ability can be used once per rank for a Non-Specialist, twice per rank for a Specialist, and thrice per rank for a Master. The user may spend additional Hollow Points in this skill to increase its level by one for each point spent.
Restrictions: Must be a Hollow.
Hierro (Iron)
Level: Very Low
Description: The user’s ambient spiritual energy is such that attacks of a lesser caliber are incapable of cutting through the user’s skin. This ability allows the user to defend against attacks from weaker, reiatsu based strikes. This ability varies and is usually stronger for specialists and masters in Obrero and Corte, and offers significant, but not total protection against attacks of it's level. The user may spend extra Hollow Points in order to increase the strength of this ability by one level for every point spent. This ability cannot exceed High in level.
Restrictions: Must be an Arrancar Class or Vastro Lorde Class Hollow. Gained automatically upon Arrancar or Vastro Lorde Transformation.
Negación (Negation)
Level: Devestating.
Description: The user gathers a large amount of reiatsu to themselves, ejecting it bodily. The reiatsu takes the form of a cube of reiatsu that encircles and object or person, protecting them from bodily harm. This, however, cannot be the user themselves. The cube of reiatsu cannot be entered or exited unless the user desires and is resilient to almost all attacks. The cube can be moved at the user’s will, however sustaining and moving it are significant drains on the user’s reiatsu. This technique can be used once per six ranks for a Non-Specialist, once per four ranks for a Specialist, or once per two ranks for a Master. Each extra round the cube is sustained consumes another usage.
Restrictions: Must be a Gillian Class Hollow.
Garganta (Throat)
Level: Average
Description: The user gather’s reiatsu into a focal point such as their hands, then projects it out into the fabric of space, tearing it apart in a distinctive segmented pattern and opening a dimensional rift that allows them to move between places and dimensions without traversing the distance in between. There is no limit to how often this technique can be used, however it takes a much longer time to both open and close the entrance for lower level hollows and Non-Specialists than it does for higher level or more specialized Hollows, and is more or less unusable during battle unless you can restrain your opponent for a significant period of time.
Restrictions: Must be an Adjuchas Class Hollow.
Gemelos Sonido (Twin Sound)
Level: Average
Description: The user gathers reiatsu about themselves, using it to rend a temporarily rift, much like Garganta, in space and time, passing through the created rift at high speed, giving the illusion the user has teleported at high speed. This version of Sonido moves with such speed that the user leaves an afterimage behind them, making it appear as though there are two of the user for a few moments. This technique can be used to make a total of five afterimages. This technique consumes on Sonido, plus an additional Sonido for each afterimage left behind.
Restrictions: Must be an Arrancar Class Hollow. Must have thirty Sonidos.
Devorar (Devour)
Level: High
Description: The user gather’s reiatsu into their mouth or palm, reversing it’s flow and creating a sort of a reiatsu attraction affect, causing ambient reiatsu to flow towards it. When placed upon a foe, this allows the user to siphon reiatsu in small amounts at a time from the foe into themselves, bolstering their strength. This technique can be used once per two ranks for a Non-Specialist, once per rank for a Specialist, or twice per rank for a Master. The amount of reiatsu consumed is about 10-20% on average.
Restrictions: Must be an Adjuchas Class Hollow.
Regeneración (Regeneration)
Level: Very High
Description: The user flows reiatsu to a wounded area, consciously or unconsciously, and regenerates it, reassembling any lost parts from spirit particles. This ability consumes a massive amount of reiatsu to perform and is often the deciding factor in both a Hollow’s loss and their survival. However, with conscious effort a Hollow can repress this reaction. This technique generally only triggers for massive wounding or lost appendages, and not lesser wounds. However, this cannot save a Hollow from death if their mask is broken or a large amount of their body is obliterated. This is only the potential for healing that Hollows possess, but few ever increase in power.
Restrictions: This technique is automatically gained when a Hollow obtains Gillian Rank, but is lost upon becoming an Adjuchas. A Hollow Point may be spent to keep the ability past Adjuchas Class.
