Name: Chikyo 知 鏡 (Mirror of Wisdom), Enmei (Bright Circle or Life Sustaining)
Age: 121
Height: 5'8
Weight: 145
Appearance:
Chikyo Enmei (Last, First) is a young man of tall stature. He stands firmly at five foot, eight inches and is easy to mistake him for a young man as opposed to the "adolescent" appearance that most people his age would have. His raven tresses are messy but kept short. His bangs cover his forehead; allowing stray locks to flow around his occuli. His facial features are strong but refined with a soft touch. His straight nose is a medium size. His lips are small and thin. His optics are a dark lavender, borderline blue. They possess a slight hint of gray. His right eye seems lively but it has a dull glint when one looks into them, appearing glazed over or non-existent (like glass). The reason for this is because he's partially blind, particularly in the right eye.
His shoulders are straight but not imposing in his stature. He dons his Shinigami uniform, wearing it with pride. He's made some modifications to his uniform, the first noteable feature is that it's not as baggy or flowing. Decreasing the size so that it's comfortable but still fits his form. Instead of wearing a standard kimono, he wears a shihakusho. Beneath the Shihakusho is a thin kimono, akin to an undershirt. To compliment his attire, he wears a thin pair of glasses. Over his attire he wears a simple white robe and hood. His hood goes well over his head, hanging down infront of him akin to bangs. It covers his forehead well and rests over the bridge of his nose. It provides ample shadowing that from a distance his face is well guised. The outlining of the robe is golden, it keeps itself together with a small fastening lock.
Since he wears the white robe over his uniform, it masks his sheathe. His sheathe is white and reveals the silver handle of his blade. Attached to it is a flowing rope which connects a yinyang. Upon unsheathing his zanpaktou it is revealed to be a ninjato of tweenty four inches in length (blade). Tne blade itself is a rich silver with a hint of white sparkles. The guard on the blade is also silver, taking on the Kanji for enlighten.
History:
Our story begins in a Buddhist temple. A boy was abandoned by fujitive parents. The Priests in this temple had took him in and named him Xian Dao Ping (Ping Xian Dao in last to first). The boy always grew up behind the walls of the temple, learning their ways. The monks education was sufficient enough to teach him up to the end of elementary school level. After which they would send him to High School in the capital. Since this temple was one of the emperor's chosen holy places; they could afford to send the boy to a good school. In High School Xian Dao kept to himself mostly. Not because he was a "loner" or being "emo", he just simply didn't seek out company. Instead due to his peaceful aura, company came to him. In particular, his mysterious nature attracted quite a lot of girls to his side. He'd tell them legendary stories and listened to their problems.
The Perfect Gentleman
Xian Dao had learned the principals of Buddhisim over the years, thus he had no earthly desires. Companionship however was a desire that crept up on the teenager. Hormones, growth, these things served to plummet him into human desires, a well crafted illusion of the world. The girl that he liked was actually a heiress, Xiao Song. She was beautiful, shy, but quite academically smart. Many of the boys Xian Dao's age admired her. She was the first girl to approach him before crowds of girls came to speak with him. Xiao Song basically restored humanity into the boy's heart, even if it was just a small piece. Little by little they had become friends.
The first year started off shakey. It took the help of his peers to break him out of his shell. It didn't cause him to lose sight of his beliefs, but he did let things slide more. The most important fact was that he had made a true friend. Within his second year was when tragedy struck. The two friends had gotten much closer during the summer break, despite their different heritage. Xiao Song would not be able to marry Xian Dao due to the lack of status. The heiress didn't truly care about the values, honours, or what society thought if it prevented her from being with the one she loved.
Xian Dao on the other hand knew of the paths people must follow. It was destiny and it served to lead them to the middle path. He didn't wish for the girl he had grown feelings for to abandon her way for his sake. He felt it foolish and blinding to the truth. Her parents had soon forbid her to see him after school and it became a struggle to spend time with him. Xian Dao could not allow things to go on and he was willing to abandon the relationship. Therefore during the winter break, he called her out. He explained his situation which ultimately broke Xiao Song's heart. She went home crying whislt Xian Dao steeled his beliefs.
Three days later Xiao Song had disappeared, one of her closest friends delivered him a letter in confidence. Within the contents of this letter she revealed her love to him, an undying love. If she could not be with him then she'd run away and eventually take her life. Xian Dao conflicted between his spiritual beliefs and his love, stormed out of the temple in a mad search for her. He searched high and low for three days and eventually found her. She was sitting along a bridge, contemplating jumping it seemed. When she heard his voice, she rushed over to him. He promptly received a slap on his face before crying on his shoulders. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close, never wishing to let her go.
Unfortunately it was too late to save the girl. She told him that she had already ingested a slow acting poison. It would eventually take her life soon. Moving to kiss her lips, they made love that night; Xiao Song dying in his embrace. He was eventually found by her clan whom assasinated Xian Dao on the spot. Xiao Song and Xian Dao both died with a lot of regrets. They could not be together and it was his spiritual beliefs that had caused him to succumb to this earthly pain. Their souls continued to wander around China for awhile, happy they could be with each other in the purgatory they found themselves in. Except Xian Dao was not all that happy, his existence and spiritual beliefs clashing wildly. She could not calm him of his distress.
In this distress he temporarily parted her side, looking to find the answers by hanging around his home. He would return to her side once he felt steadfast. Unfortunately this is where more tragedy hits; unlike Xian Dao who's spiritual power created a very long chain of fate, Xiao Song's was shorter and corroding much faster. When he returned to her side, her chain was withering away. She soon became a hollow, attempting to eat her lover. Xian Dao was critically wounded before a Shinigami had appeared on the scene. The sorrow of the hollow raging out as reiatsu into the sky.
The Shinigami's name was Akuyama Shinryu (Last, First). He was seated as 7th seat in the 8th division. He told the boy the answers that he sought, offering to show him life after death. The truth of the world was that the man he'd worshipped as a god was not a god at all. He was simply a being with high level spiritual power. "Buddha" saw through the evils of world, the desires which caused human beings to linger around instead of moving onto the after life. He strived to teach the world about these beings and how to prevent the occurance, yet not many had listened.
It was with these answers that he released the inhibitions holding him back. His lover purified by the blade of the Zanpaktou, he was content with passing on. Thus he would be taken to the world of Rukongai. By passing on into the after life, Xian Dao felt reborn. His eye had been removed by his lover as was a large chunck of his arm. He'd need to be healed and once he was, he'd be free to wander the streets. His eye never quite recovering from the hollow attack, it appeared glazed over, like glass. His glasses sticking to him even now, he took on the name Chikyo Enmei. His life and thus the reflection seen from his eye, was like a mirror of wisdom. His rebirth akin to a bright circle or of sustaining life itself; since he had moved on in the cycle.
His time in Rukongai was spent teaching others his spiritual beliefs and likewise learning from others. Many had stories to share about their past lives. Wind of this young lad teaching and learning in the streets made it's way to Shinryu. He recalled the soul's spiritual power at the time and knowing that he was a plus now, made preparations. He wanted to seek the boy out and see if he could get him into Seireitei. His power could be of great use to this world or so he figured. He'd find Enmei at the age of seventeen (in normal years, 117 in actuality). At this time Shinryu was a Captain and made sure to get the young man into the Shinigami Academy. For the next three years he studied hard in the academy, looking to make a difference in the human world as well as the world they currently resided in. He could not let the sacrifice of his love go to waste.
Academy Life
Enmei was...a failure, which surprised Shinryu whom worked hard to get him into Seireitei, but most importantly Enmei himself. During his life as a human he had hardly struggled with life. Academics were fine, physical activity was fine. He had achieved balance, but in this life...he just couldn't quite grasp things. He wasn't going to take being such a failure lightly. He regularly stayed behind after school for extra lessons. One of the Academy teachers Hattori, saw some potential in him. He noticed that his footwork was quite good. Everything else was not up to par but at least he could move fluidly.
Thus he began to teach him Hoho more diligently. He showed him how to move silently, he assisted him with making up for the blindness in his right eye. To do this, he compensated with his other senses. This helped him to form a visual within his mind of the enemies strikes and movements. His level in Hoho steadly increasing as he learned to harness speed and achieve excellent balance. He became quit "fit", His frame now athletic as opposed to scranny. His extra diligence helped to boost his marks up in other areas of Shinigami combat.
Within his academy days he had met quite a few trainees. Kaito whom was just as mysterious as he was within the court yard, Mumei whom was rather tall and imposing, Ryuuken Maru whom he didn't get along with due to spiritual beliefs. He sparsely conversed with the young men but he had take n note of each's personality. He had a feeling his new life would further interwine with these gentlemen.
They all graduated that year and headed off to different divisions. For Enmei, he'd be heading to 8th division, following in the path of Shinryu.

Zanpakutou
Appearance: As mention prior this zanpaktou is not a katana like many shinigami but a ninjato. It's appearance is all silver with a white sparkle, reflecting like the moon itself. The sheathe as described prior is white. It's pattern is that of crescent moons, outlined in blue. The length of the blade is quite small compared to the standard zanpaktou, but longer than a wakizashi or tanto. upon the edge of the tsuba it has a purple rope which connects to a yinyang. The yinyang is standard black/white.
Manifestation:
Appearing almost like a porceilan doll or a geisha without her makeup, Tsukihime is exquisite. She can easily be described as moe. Her hair is pinned up with a special head piece. Worn by princesses and clan leaders alike, the gold piece is a sight to behold. Attached to each end (four in total) is a purple string which connects the gold ornmanets to it. Several strands of hair are held up with the pice and wrapped like a bow. Tsukihime's hair is akin to a raven's hue, except lightly highlighted with purple. The golden ornament worn atop her crown is a testament to her name. The bangs of Tsukihime are woven into a purple silken strand. The ends on either side are gold, allowing the black tresses to float freely outside its length. The remainder of her bangs are straight and reach past the eyebrows. Towards the back her hair flows freely and is slightly curled at the ends.
The Zanpaktou's skin tone is quite pale, giving the vibe of moon-kissed skin. Her facial features are soft, appearing to be just on the cusp of maturity. Her eyes are round with her pupils being an indigo-purple hue. Her eyebrows are thin and serve to set her features well. Her nose is small and straight, whilst her lips are thin.
To understand Tsukihime's attire, you must first understand that she's wearing several layers of Kimono. This is a traditional garb for princesses. It starts with an inner layer that is a sole white kimono. The sleeves are quite long, serving to mask her hands well. This is a sign of purity, as the slightest reveal of a woman's hand was considered a tease, akin to the modern day flash of skin. The second layer of kimono was a deep shade of purple, appearing almost crimson. It's signed with that of a moon insignia. Around her neck is a mirror necklace. It parts from the mirror to reveal golden ornaments and lavender beads. The chain moves down to the legs, reaching just past the thighs.
The second layer of kimono is parted to rest firmly upon the shoulders. It falls past the knees, touching the ground as she walks. This hindering garb requires a more delicate and graceful step in the wearer's walk. It's tied with a silk white obi, flailing in a lovely butterfly-style bow. The bottom strands fluttering along the sides of her figure. Hidden well beneath her garb are the crimson sandals worn. These are just slightly thinner than the standard ninja issue and have several thin straps moving across the base of the feet. The heel is also slightly bigger, giving her a small height boost (to 5'5).
Inner World:
Inside the inner world of Enmei is rather desolate, harbouring the darkness of the world. There is a scarce bit of land within this innerworld. It represents a coastline, the sands lukewarm to barefeet that come across them. Jagged rocks serve to lock off any land past the beach itself. Water is constantly rushing towards the sand. Said water can form rather giant waves which could easily drown anyone present. These waves represent Enmei's feelings of anger, dispair, turmoil. When Enmei is sad the coastline is barraged with strong rains.
When Enmei is happy, the atmosphere is calm, the world's inner moon shines as a fullmoon or a new moon. When he's neutral, the moon is that of a 3/4 moon. Feelings of anger, dispair or turmoil cause the moon to reflect as a crescent moon, making it incredibly hard for Tsukihime to see within the inner world, amongst the other hazards. This desolate world gives off solem vibes. It's clear that it isolates the soul, allowing them to see through the illusions of this world. The moon acts as the primary light source. The sounds of water aid in calming down Tsukihime or Enmei.
Looking ahead to the ocean, there's a gateway similar to the gates used to move between the different planes of existence. It radiates a blue aura and is usually sealed unless Enmei arrives in the Inner Worldr or Tsukihime is finally released. In order to approach the door, one needs to walk across the water. This act is akin to taking a "leap of faith". The moonlight reflects along the surface, creating a vista within desolation.
