Appearance: At first glance when you look at Takashi you'd think that he'd be a weakling that you could easily defeat but looks can be deceiving. While Takashi has an Athletic build make no mistake that the boy can hold his own against most opponents. Standing at about 5'11 Takashi can be considered a bit over the average height. Also weighing at about 175 pounds Takashi seems to be in very good shape. The young shinigami has jet black hair and light brown eyes. At most times you'll see Takashi wearing the regular Shinigami uniform however when he goes out into the real world he may wear a school uniform or normal attire depending on the circumstances.
History:
Defensive Style 1
Takashi Yoshikata was the name given to the new born child of the Yoshikata family. The parents Aika and Jubei Yoshikata were proud to become parents as they had been blessed to be given a second child which was a baby boy. With the new addition the family Aika and Jubei had a daughter named Izumi and a son named Takashi. At the time of Takashi’s birth Izumi was about 6 years of age. Originally in Tokyo the Yoshikata’s moved to Karakura in order to re-trace their roots. Now the Yoshikata’s were martial artist who dwelled on mediation and a defensive sword style. Children who were recently born that are boys are subjected to train in the Katsu stance which was the defensive sword stance of the Yoshikatas. Basic training didn’t usually start until the child was about 5 years of age where they began to learn how the stance is used and how it came to be. This meant a lot of physical training and reading of a textbook. Takashi who was about the age of 3 began to watch many of the sparring sessions that his sister had with other members of the Yoshikatas. Boys were usually the warriors of the clan but girls were also considered if they were strong enough. Takashi who had just started to developed memories had memorized how good his sister was. Due to the fact that he was only 3 he only laughed in excitement of his sister’s Swordsmanship. When Takashi turned about 5 years old and his sister was 11 years old his training began. Jubei was the young boy’s instructor and he began to show with the help of Izumi what the Katsu style was. It was a defensive stance that dealed with making your defense into your offense. It dealt with parrying, blocking, and creating an opening to attack when your opponents guard is either weakened or down. The explanation and demonstrations helped Takashi understand what the fighting style was all about. Takashi had to use wooden swords due the fact that the boy was too young and weak for actual weapons. Practicing everyday and reading upon the history Takashi began to become fluent within the Katsu Defensive Style. As years passed by things seemed to go as normal. When Takashi became 9 years old however things changed. As Izumi and Takashi slept the house that they lived in were broken into by criminals who were trying to make a statement. They killed Izumi and Takashi while they slept and moved on to the parents. Both Takashi and Izumi became pluses and watched as their parents were killed. The pair were yelling in vain however as they realized that they were dead. Stuck roaming the earth for about a week until 2 strangers in Black and White appeared before them. They said to the pair that they would be taken to a better place.
The academy Souls?
Takashi was separated from his sister Izumi when they both reached Rukongai. Takashi ended up in one of those districts in which most young souls ended up. Children were around and they seemed to be looking at Takashi who at the time was on the floor. His entrance into Rukongai wasn’t smooth and it felt like it was a bad dream. The only thing was that it wasn’t a dream at all and that it was purely reality or so it seemed. Confused and astonished by everything the young boy began to venture to where the adults seemed to be located. The Soul Society was where Takashi began to head. He felt a lot of strong presences here. How he was able to do it however was unknown to the boy. He thought of the constant meditation when he was still alive was the reason behind this strange new power. Looking around Takashi spotted a wall. It was pretty massive and Takashi decided to head there but was stopped however by someone who looked familiar but he couldn’t tell. Takashi was approached by the Shinigami and that Shinigami became Takashi’s guide.
With the fact that Takashi had high spiritual power that he was told by the Shinigami that he had a chance to enter the academy. As the years progressed on and Takashi was a Shinigami in training things seemed to be going well. He had above average grades and his Swordsmanship was top class due to his earlier training. Not only did Takashi practice using his Zanpakuto he also did training using Kudou. Takashi hit the books often to learn many different things about being a Shinigami and how much of a serious thing it was. Protecting souls from hollows sounded easy at first but when it came down to training things weren’t as easy as they seemed. Takashi went through the academy without any problems and stayed an extra year for more training in the use of Kudou and to train his Katsu Defensive Style.

Zanpakutou
Appearance:
The White in Takashi's Zanpakuto represents the mixture of water and snow although theme of snow seems to be the most dominant in the Zanpakuto. It is in the form of a basic Katana and is about 25 inches long. Manifestation:
Arashi Katsu a spirit who controls the waters is a female spirit that seems to love to tease Takashi a lot. Arashi’s attitude scales from being kind to being heartless and unforgiving. The reason for this is so that Takashi may become stronger without anyone having any pity or remorse or any sad feelings for him that may distract him. Arashi often talks to Takashi in a lot of situations he encounters.
Inner World:
A place where Takashi would enter rarely, The water is cold but one would be able to walk upon the water as if it was solid ground. The water isn't frozen so if you were to fall you would fall into the water. The near by landscape is covered in snow and often Arashi can be found there if she isn't out and about walking on the water or even swimming in it.

- Hadō No. 2: Mizugan (Way of Destruction: Water Orb)
Type: Destruction Art.
Description: Channeling reiatsu around the user's hand, they will then extend their dominant hand forward, allowing the reiatsu to gather moisture from the atmosphere and condense it into a small sphere of water, no larger than six inches in diameter. The ball will then be launched towards the opponent at moderate speeds. Upon impact, the ball will detonate with a strong concussive force, creating a large spray of water as well as knocking back whatever was struck by the force.
Incantation: Essence of Ocean, swiftly gather; then, punish the transgressors! Hado no Ni: Mizugan!

Type: Destruction Art.
Description: The user gathers reiatsu into their fingertips, holding their hands out to the sides with fingers outstretched. The user then points both of their hands forward, all fingers extended. Twenty needles of red reiatsu, two from each finger, will spring forward from the user’s hands, each one doing minor impaling damage and as a whole seeking to deal a wide variety of stabbing wounds to the target.
Incantation: Ten pillars, two spires, glow red in the white echoes of moonlight. Twist in shadow cut the heart of temperance free from the ocean floor! Ye lord, look upon us! Hado no Juunana: Akasenshi Hari!

# Bakudō No. 8: Seki (Way of Binding No. 8: Repulse)
Type: Binding Art.
Description: Condensing the user's reiatsu in front of them, they create a small golden-colored shield of energy. The technique's defensive capability is, unfortunately, highly limited, and even the most powerful of casters will find the ability only capable of blocking Kidō of the first Category. However, a secondary ability exists within the spell as well: opponents why physically strike the shield will be knocked backwards, sending them flying a few feet. It also paralyzes the limb that struck it for one turn.
