Helios has a very light-build, not exactly bulging anywhere except for the spot that matters according to him, but he is certainly cut. He is very fit with specific attention directed toward his uper body, which he deems to be the most important area to work out. He has a full of height of 6'4, which is relatively tall compared to most of his other peers.
Helios's attire is something commonly seen in the Shinigami world. He wears a long, flowing black robe that extends from the beginning of his neck to his ankles. However because Helios's fighting style puts an emphasis on close quarters combat, this robe has no sleeves, allowing optimal maneuvering ability. Around his neck is his headband, which he wears as a choker of sorts. On his left wrist is a black wrist-band, which he wears in remembrance of his younger brother, who gave it to him as a gift. On the bottom of his right bicep Helios wears a thin layer of white cloth that surrounds his arm. This cloth doesn't seem to have any real importance one way or the other, leading most to believe that it's just a fashion statement. For footwear Helios wears a pair of black tennis shoes, specifically resembling Nike Air Force Ones. This is something generally rare for Shinigami, but they symbolize his love for the Human world.
Helios contemplated getting his ears pierced at what point, but ultimately decided against it, stating that earrings look gay on men.
Unlike within the picture, Helios hair is a rustic golden color, and his eyes are orange-ish brown.

For some reason, people view me in a disdainful like manner, reasons for this is because they don’t like me. I don't why; I mean there are reasons in an excessive like manner but I don’t think they’re valid, reasons why is because they’re wrong. I'm an awesome guy. Funny, sexy, strong, I've got all the goods, you know? I think people just hate me in an envious like way. There are a lot of really jealous like people out there who dislike me because the wish they were me.
I guess there's a lot of stuff to be jealous about, though. I can't really say that I haven't lived a life of luxury, reasons why is because my family has lots of money. While my family might not be one of those old famous aristocratic ones, we are not low brow and live in a wealthy like manner, you know? Thus as a result life is very boring because it is monotonous because there is nothing exciting about it. Before I became a Shinigami I lived in a dull like form. Anyway I became a Shinigami, reasons for this is because I had an excessive like spiritual energy that makes me eligible for Shinigami status, you know?
So I became a Shinigami and learned how to fight in a quick like manner and then I joined squad 7 reasons why is because I learned how to fight fast and I have a fascination like interest in the human world. The Human world is a place that holds my curiosity in that there are things about it that are different from Soul Society and pique my interest. It was during this integration into that I first met Akimoto Ayumu. She’s an older member of the squad, my senior directly, and she kind of irritates me a little bit from time to time but she’s alright, I prefer her to most of the other people in the squad for some reason; maybe it’s her skills. She’s a pretty good fighter, for a girl I mean, you know? Not as good as me for sure but she’s got spunk which is cool.
Anyway, yeah I guess that’s all you really need to know about me for now, you know? Well I guess I should talk about my hobbies a little. My favorite thing to do when I'm not kicking ass is to dance! I lo-o-o-o-o-o-ove dancing! I can dance in all kinds of ways but I learned this new one recently from watching some kids in Soul Society, it's pretty cool! I also like poetry which a lot of people think is weird... but whatever, it's my passion, you know?
So that's enough talking for now.

When in it’s sealed mode, Failure is in the shape as a regular katana, only it’s color scheme is somewhat unique. Failure's sheath is a bright orange in color, symbolic of Izea's flashy personality. Failure's blade is a gunmetal gray, while the hilt is silver with turquoise embroidery. Stitched into the embroidery is an image of the the sun. The color is uniform with the rest of the hilt. When unsealed, Failure takes the form of a double-bladed sword, with each blade being around2 and half feet in length. The hilt extends to roughly a foot and a half in length but stays the same color. The blades however glow from an intense heat, appearing to become a glossy white.

Failure’s manifestation is in the form of a sad looking a Clown. Failure is a depressing being that is wholly unfunny for a clown and everyone generally wishes that he would just go away and be inept elsewhere. Failure originated as a young man in school who dropped out to fulfill his dream of being a Clown and spreading joy to children everywhere. Being the universal irrelevance that he was though, Failure didn’t succeed in becoming a very effective clown, and in the end the only remarkable achievement in his life was to kill himself in such a way that the ceiling fan from which he hung himself was actually on and fully rotating when he carried out the act, so that when his body was eventually discovered it would be found lifelessly swinging from the fan’s inertia.

Failure’s Inner World is essentially a giant Chuck E. Cheese’s complete with full interior playground and ball pit, the only real difference from a normal Chuck E. Cheese’s is that the ball pit seems to extend out forever, to the point where you can’t see the other side of it, and there are black people there. Dozens of small children litter the area, running to and fro, but for unknown reasons they completely ignore everyone and everything, as if they are ghosts or just don’t exist. Another change is that every inch of the ceiling is covered by a fan.

Shikai: When Failure's Shikai is released, the katana morphs into the shape of a double-sided sword, with each blade measuring in about 2 and a half feet in length. In addition Reaitsu is applied to the blades of the sword so that they heat up to a beyond lethal temperature. The blades glow white hot, and a single touch can burn through almost all physical objects (skin will be instantly cauterized), given it it is pressed against the object long enough. What this means is that the blades will be halted by other spiritual energy constructs, be it other zanpaktos, special armor, etc, and it will take time to burn through particularly solid objects such as solid rock and thick metals.
Another interesting side-affect is that due to the special spiritual energy used to heat up the blades, and their temperature, the molecules in the air itself around the blade are ignited, and stay ignited for a short period of time. With every swing of the weapon the blades leave a trail of flame behind them that lasts for half a turn before dissipating. Touching this trail will result in severe (about first degree burns on the area touched) burns. The problem with this ability is that it does not discriminate between friend and foe. Helios can, if not careful, easily trap himself within these trails of flame, and if touched they cause the same level of damage that it would anyone else.
With every upgrade of this technique, the amount of time that the trails of flame last is increased by one half turn. In addition with every upgrade Helios becomes a little more resistant to his own fire abilities.

Description: Gathering a tiny bit of reiatsu into the hands, the user will then place their dominant hand forward, palm extended towards the target. Then, placing their non-dominant hand behind it in the form of a cross, the hands will begin to glow with a white light. This light will then push away from the user, toppling whatever is struck by the push and sending it flying backwards.
Incantation: Broken bindings, spirit of domination, rush against the currents, shatter all sins! Hado no Ichi: Sho!

Type: Destruction Art.
Description: Channeling reiatsu around the user's hand, they will then extend their dominant hand forward, allowing the reiatsu to gather moisture from the atmosphere and condense it into a small sphere of water, no larger than six inches in diameter. The ball will then be launched towards the opponent at moderate speeds. Upon impact, the ball will detonate with a strong concussive force, creating a large spray of water as well as knocking back whatever was struck by the force.
Incantation: Essence of Ocean, swiftly gather; then, punish the transgressors! Hado no Ni: Mizugan!

Description: The user thrusts the middle, ring, and index fingers of their dominant hand forward, releasing a triangular burst of yellow energy the size of a dinner plate that pierces and stabs like a thrown knife or blade.
Incantation: Oblivion of the yellow moon! Burst the three candles and skewer the darkness! Hado no San: Tsubame Kuchibashi!

Description: The user gathers reiatsu into their dominant hand, extending their palm forward with the middle and index fingers pointing straight up and the fingers folded into the palm. The user then places the middle and index finger of the off hand behind the dominant hand like a cross. A cross-shaped blast of red fire-like reiatsu will blast from the user’s fingertips, severely burning the target.
Incantation: Red and black chapel! A thousand fireflies, ten thousand lost souls, descend and converge, hall in the shrine of the inferno, burst free the blood of conflagration! Hado no Nijuuyon: Keijuujika!
