Appearance:
Rika Takuya is an attractive, well-built Shinigami. He stands at five foot nine inches, a fairly standard height for men. He has a slim frame, which is well fortified with muscle. As in most Shinigami, Takuya is extremely fit, with a solidly built body and well-developed muscles and flexibility all around. Despite his fitness, he is not overly bulky and maintains a trim frame that doesn’t appear as strong as he actually is. His skin is smooth and somewhat pale, as though he doesn’t get a whole lot of time under the sun. Eyes of a clear sapphire color grace his face, just above a small, sharp nose. He has a smooth face and eyelids that tend to droop over his eyes slightly, giving him a look that is either sinister or lazy depending on how you look at them. His visage is clear of any facial hair. His hair is of medium length and shaggy, not quite spiky but not hanging straight down either. It’s constantly messy and ruffled, despite any attempts to tame it. It reaches just above his eyes.
He appears mostly unblemished by scars, but this is merely due to the odd placing of his scars. His front bears only a single scar from a training accident down his right shoulder. By contrast, he has in excess of ten scars on his back, made from the claws of hollows in an encounter long ago. Takuya wears the standard black haori and hakama of a Shinigami, as well as the white sash, trimmed in blue. He carries his Zanpaktou on his right hip for easy cross-drawing, as he is himself left-handed. White tabi socks cover his feet, and he wears the standard pair of sandals.[/ul]
History:
Rika Takuya was human once. Many years ago, Takuya Rika was a normal human, borne into a Japanese city from the city of Maebashi, a location that in the past was spirit-enriched land of nearly a spirit-mile in diameter. It was the site of many battles of the spiritual realm, including those that brought out the grandest of forces from both sides to the developing samurai city.
It was here, as a youth of about fifteen, that a grand battle between Arrancar Espada and Shinigami Captains happened, where four Espada and their fracción faced off against four Captains and their lieutenants. It was this battle that lead to the deaths of both the Eleventh Division Captain and Quinto Espada in the previous century. It was in the midst of that grave battle that Takuya, though that was not his name in the past, came into contact with The Tercera Espada Malik Ilskahata and his then fracción Hacher Taliasega.
This was also the moment of his death. Stuck deeply into his memory is that one moment, when he, a boy just capable of seeing spirits, stood before the two Arrancar. They had introduced themselves, and then Malik tore out his heart. Hacher Taliasega expressed her sympathies, and the two Arrancar, soon to be fellow Espada, jumped back into the fray. The human was killed instantly, the heart of the resulting Soul destroyed. Before he even knew he was dead, Takuya was on the path to being a Hollow.
After the battle, however, before he could complete the transformation to Hollow, Takuya was slain by a Shinigami. The process should have cleansed his soul before sending him to the Rukongai. For some reason or another, it didn’t. Perhaps it was because his soul was damaged from the start, preventing him from becoming a true hollow and causing the zanpaktou to give him a soul burial and not the cleansing it offers to hollows. Either way, his soul was still irrevocably damaged. Very soon, he felt the hunger that all powerful souls. Little did Takuya know that his hunger was borne of the hollow within.
He was soon found and taken in by a Shinigami, a Ninth Division Fifth Seat by the name of Rika Shun. Takuya soon found himself a part of the noble Rika family, along with his benefactor, and joined the Shinigami Academy as he became old enough to handle his reiatsu. There he learned the way of the Shinigami, where he was complimented for his unusually potent reiatsu and his skill with his sword. He graduated as a specialist in the arts of Zanjutsu and was selected for the Seventh Division due to his unshakable courage in the face of Hollows. Takuya enjoys his life as a Shinigami with his friend Shun, but all that will change soon…

Abilities:
- Tsukiyomi's power is the ability to transmute reiatsu into fire. Tsukiyomi can turn Takuya's reiatsu from simple form into elemental fire. The fire is produced from the blade of Tsukiyomi. This fire can be controlled at will after it's creation. The many techniques and abilities of Tsukiyomi are produced from this base ability.

Inner Hollow
Appearance: Inugami Resfraido is a humanoid hollow, similar in build and form to Takuya himself. Resfraido stands at about five foot ten inches, making him only slightly taller than Takuya. Inugami Resfraido, like most hollows, is completely white-skinned, with the exception of red streaks running down his arms and the back of his neck. Resfraido wears his Hollow Mask at all times, though underneath his face seems to be a facsimile of Takuya’s. Like a Vaizard, Resfraido is capable of lifting and sliding his Hollow Mask, but prefers to keep it covering his face. He wears shinigami uniform that is more or less the negative of the normal in terms of color. His sword, however, is carried on his back, instead of at his hip. His fingers end in nails similar to claws, with a slight hook to them. He has an overall subtly more muscular look to him than Takuya does.
Mask Appearance: Inugami Resfraido’s and Takuya’s Hollow Mask looks very similar to a canine. The mask is formed of the same white bone material as all hollow masks. Unlike most, the mask has no teeth or visible mouth of any kind. The second segment actually hooks up and underneath the chin, hiding it from sight. The mask itself has two sharp slits for eyes, a little narrower than most Hollow masks are, displaying only the black and yellow eyes. The mask has the highly accented cheekbones of a dog or canine, curving up from the chin to expand outward like a jackal. Two short horns that are extremely reminiscent of a dog’s ears crown the mask. Two diagonal, slash-like, blood red marks from the right ear down to the left cheek, intersecting the eye, decorate the mask.
