Eaten Soul's Fates?

What happens to a Human's soul when he is eaten by a Hollow? I am not talking about a Human dying, becoming a plus, then being eaten. I mean when still being a human he/she is suddently eaten by a Hollow. Does the human just become a Hollow? Or do there souls... do something else?

I read the Bleach Wiki but it confuses me. V_V

My guess is that when they get eaten, their souls also turn into a snack and become spirit particles which the hollow absorbs or something along those lines.

Either that or they get pooped out the hollows rear end.
