Where did you get that idea? There are a bunch of female Zanpakuto's.
For example, Haineko. Tobiume, err Soi Fon's zanpakuto. |

Mayuri himself said that Urahara's Zanpakuto spirit was rare for it was female or some shiz like that.

Hmm, I don't remember that part. Either way, I don't think it is so crazy for there to be a female Zanpakuto that we need Admin Permission for it. |

It was explained. They're rare because most female manifestations aren't sealed into zanpaktous, but rather household items such as brooms, dustpans, mops, etc.
