Private, those who may enter, you know who you are.
Green.
It was very strange to Itamiku that the spirit world would be so green. He had expected more white... perhaps ghosts flying around. Well, maybe that was his innacurate assumption based on Halloween costumes and movies. Either way, that was his thoughts as he trod the grassy floor, his eyes scanning for signs of life other than the sounds of his steps. He was alone in this world of Spirits, his curiosities getting the better of him as he had waited outside beside the Welt Tur. He knew he had promised to wait for the others, but he decided to head in on his own the anticipation of all he could learn getting the better of him, the secrets of the Spiritual world drawing him in like a moth to flame. Little did he know the comparison was an apt one. The moment he stepped into the Spiritual world's grassy ground... he had been sensed by those he would perhaps not want to have been sensed by. Little did he know his every move was being closely monitered... little did he know that he had entered a place no ordinary mortal in their right minds would ever step foot in. Even so, they might have sensed that he was no ordinary mortal.
The Forest around him looked so... normal... It was almost disappointing to Itamiku just how ordinary all this was. Of all the things the afterlife could be... they would be reborn in a forest? Surely there was some grand joke resulting that he was oblivious to... however whoever created this place had a warped sense of humor. Sure, he could feel the energy of spirits as well as Shinigami... and the absense of Hollow Reiatsu told him there were none who would be foolish enough to step foot inside the Shinigami's home. Either the Shinigami were very strong, or the Hollow were very weak. Itamiku's steps came a little quicker, the trees never seeming to end. Was this all the world of Spirits held? A great line of trees and foilage? What of Shinigami? Where were they hiding? And the spirits? It was all getting to be very irritating. Whose idea was it to build an afterlife based on such normal things? A blue sky, gravity, green grass, tall trees? How boring! Itamiku sighed as he continued walking at a slower pace, not really caring any more where he was going, just admiring the trees and waiting for him to find something or for something to find him.
"Man... this place could use a little bit of redecorating. Something much less like Earth." Itamiku mumbled to himself. He shook his head. "Ah... what'd I expect? A fortress that held within it the population of spirits? Maybe a palace that held some sort of monarchy." Itamiku spounted what in his mind were rediculous ideas for an afterlife... after all, they were dead, what point would there be of a government? However... He couldn't shake the feeling that he was in for a rather rude awakening to what exactly Shinigami were...

Dream ran for a long time after her little out burst with Ali and she wasn't about to forgive him anytime soon that was for sure. Either way she was pretty upset and she wasn't sure what she was going to do. She was suppose to meet up with Itami at some special location though so she headed that way and when she arrived all thoughts of her annoyance with Ali faded from her mind temporarily as she found herself in front of a giant gate that looked as if it was a portal to another world! She couldn't tell for sure but her over baring curiosity made her touch it and for some reason she was pulled in!
Dream would find herself in some sort of forest and she would look around and find it to be a bit on the beautiful side but something was off about it all. She would walk around a bit confused and eventually she began to worry until of all things she would notice Itamiku. She was quite glad to see him and ran over to him and jumped on his back saying "Ha ha ha, guess who?" she would wait for him to answer before getting off and then once he did she would get down and add "You said to meet you at that place and there was like this big gate thing. I went through it and found myself here so umm... what happened?" She knew he was going to tell her what was going on but was a bit surprised he would keep this big thing to himself.

Step.
Takuya put his foot down. His reiatsu was concealed as he approached, quiet step by quiet step. He could sense both of them, humans coursing with a strange fusion of the untouched energy of a plus and the sickening taint of a Hollow. After all of his recent encounters, Takuya couldn't even be sure about whether or not that smell repulsed him or fascinated him. The dark, chaotic ripples of reiatsu that characterized a Hollow... He was disturbed by them. Horrified by them. And yet, he was fascinated by them. They drew him in. He couldn't help but observe them, immerse himself in them. He felt them... He felt them in himself.
His reiatsu blossomed, no longer concealed, as he came within ten meters of the two of them. He had no doubt that human would recognize him. He certainly recognized the taste of the reiatsu, and the distinctly foreign shape to his face. He let his hand drift slowly down to his side, fingertips gently brushing along the hilt of Tsukiyomi. It was a loving caress, one that carried within it an elegant and dangerous expression. He sighed, letting the air fall out of his mouth. He was disappointed. There was a reason he had been merciful. He wanted to avoid an interaction like this.
You should have killed him![/color]
Takuya's eyes widened as the jarring voice assaulted his ears. He restrained the urge to whip his head around and pull his sword from the sheath. It was a spike of massive reiatsu, the reiatsu of a Hollow... And it had come from him. He looked around him briefly, before returning his gaze to the humans before him. He let his fingers run along the black and crimson hilt of his zanpaktou again, lightly teasing it. The motion, however, belied the harsh slant of his eyes as he narrowed them at the invaders. They would pass no further without his benediction.
“Kyousha Itamiku.” He said simply. “I told you what would happen if you pursued this.” He let his fingers subtly begin to wrap around the hilt of his sword. “Why are you here?” It was a simple question. The answer would determine the life or death of Kyousha Itamiku. His damned reiatsu was filling the air with the thick odor of a Hollow. Somehow, he was infecting Takuya. That must be why he could feel the death-like ringing of discord, in his own spiritual pressure. He was going to lose his mind if this continued...

Itamiku had expected Shinigami... perhaps even newly dead spirits entering this existance... however, what hit him in the back like a bag of bricks was completely different. His eyes widened and he stumbled forward as he heard a young girl's laugh from behind him. It was familiar, a warming sound to Itamiku as a grin appeared on his face as well, his heart settling down from the adrenaline rush he had the moment of contact, caught off guard.
"Ha ha ha, guess who?"
"Oh, yeah, haha, veeeeeery funny Dream, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" Itamiku chuckled as the young girl slid off his back. He turned to face her as she started explaining in her normal very energetic way.
"You said to meet you at that place and there was like this big gate thing. I went through it and found myself here so umm... what happened?" She asked, not understanding what this place was. Itamiku looked around for a moment.
"Well... if my guess is right... we've found ourselves in the Land of the Dead..." Itamiku explained, after having read the inscription on Welt Tur, the World Door, it seemed like they could go to Heaven or Hell... and he guessed this was supposed to be a bad joke for heaven, or a hell come true... As though ONE painful life wasn't enough with boundaries and rules, it seemed everywhere they went was so... normal... "Well, there's not much to it, it seems we've just gotta ke-" He stopped in the middle of his sentience. "Dream, don't move." He commanded sternly.
He had been about to say they would just have to keep pressing forward to find some sort of civilization... perhaps where the Shinigami were... however it seemed one of them found them first. Itamiku's eyes widened in a feeling he couldn't describe as the reiatsu of the other enveloped them. It... couldn't be. Of all the damn Shinigami, what the hell were their chances it would turn out to be this one? But deep down, he knew he was right... Suddenly, from the same direction, a familiar, dark reiatsu rippled toward him, unsteady, wild, almost like... The Human's face revealed a very small smile, taking what small amusement he could from the situation. It seemed this one was having troubles of his own...
“Kyousha Itamiku.”
The sound was revolting. Not only because the voice was evil incarnate, but it was the very voice of oppression that spoke to him. Itamiku turned his head slowly to face the shinigami, his hand steering Dream so he was standing between her and the Shinigami. Sapphire eyes trained on Itamiku as though their gaze burned into him, searching his very being. It was an uncomfortable feeling, however this time, he was not asking questions...
“I told you what would happen if you pursued this.” The shinigami's pale fingers wrapped threateningly around the Zanpakuto at his waist, from experience Itamiku was weary. This one was powerful. “Why are you here?” The Shinigami's voice carried through the empty space between them.
Itamiku thought about his answer for a moment, his emerald eyes never leaving the Shinigami. "This time, Shinigami, I search for answers without shinigami's aid." Itamiku said in reply. His head tilted a little, "Though, I didn't expect to see you here... Land of the Dead or no... And in such a... condition." Itamiku's smirk returned, "Did this new development within you happen recently?" Itamiku asked in an amused tone, referring to the Hollow Reiatsu, the smirk fell a moment later, "It seems fate is playing a cruel joke on us, isn't it?" Itamiku asked solemnly, "You, as well as I."

Enter "She was here, I swear she was, what the fuck!" His hands ran into rows and rows or boxes, he had followed her, down to this an odd relic place/ Stone pillars worn by age, and an odd rectangle. But the biggest factor here was that only Toushiro was here, nobody else, the girl was nowhere to be found. He couldn't feel her in the wind anymore, the tracks of her feet all but remaining. It was bitter disappointment and rage tearing at him now, the fact he had lost his lead, he was inadequate, useless, couldn't even follow a girl for his father. He could feel the weakness growing at his knees, his negative thoughts taking a toll on the physical. He felt like the game was over, he could just lay back and rest for a while, ignore all the times he has failed in his life. But this didn't seem to be so, the clattering of cans sent a stream of static up his spine, his body clearly spinning, his body slid backwards, arms hitting stone, his body flung into the gate. Everything made a switch, greenery took the area whole, as his body stumbled backward into the ground.
New fear blossomed in his mind as landed, he was somewhere else. He was lost, and in a forest, possibly stranded and alone. Was he alone? Never, he could hear it, words being passed between three, he wasn't alone, that was possibly good. the girl was there, he could feel here again, odd as it was to say you could. But it was relieving, she knew a way out, she must've. His boy rocked over, as he took into a crawl, following the scents of people, the core of sounds. coming across a clearing, with three people in it, the first two seemed quite normal, the man on the others side was just like the rest of the shockingly odd people he's met, dressed in a black kimono, a sword tied to his hips. But this man seemed much less welcoming than the others, be it they weren't allowed here, or that by pure chance he had no worse timing to arrive.
The book in his hand had nearly been forgotten during this stir, brought back to notice by his growing grip. He was left with the impression it was a diary, even with the horrible guilt he felt for looking in something personal to her, this could be the end of his life right here. He wasn't up to parrying with a sword, and honestly his legs weren't prepared for running and even more disappointment. His eyes ricocheted from one to the other, wide with interest and pleading, he wanted to know things, but also wanted to live. It was hard to choose what he would follow more. The ominous aura around him made him want to say he treasured his life and run, but he couldn't because firstly, he had to be kind and return that diary, his first act of generosity, since well...ever. Then he needed to know if what he knows and what she had in the book are the same thing. so he could only watch warily, behind a bush taller than he was, beady eyes peering through the vacant spots.

Itamiku was in the middle of giving an explanation as to where they were but suddenly he stop and looked around telling Dream to be still. She would then feel it too, it was different from other beings she has felt. He would appear and she would see a man dressed in a black robe with a sword at his hip. He did not look happy about them being here and Dream was glad she had already gotten off of Itami's back. She wasn't sure what was different about this person but she could feel a difference. Then she remembered the description of the shinigami Itamiku had told her before. Was this the first one she was meeting? She somehow knew it to be true. There was something about the shinigami that was familiar and as she thought about it a sudden flash of memory would come to her mind. It was of a man in a black robe he had his back to her and he had a sword similar to this one in front of her. The one in her memory was different though as if he was tryign to protect her.
Dream would stumble a little as the sudden flash of memory shook her, she would stay up though and she would look intently at the new arrival. "Itami... is he.... a shinigami?" She would look at him trying to awaken that memory again but she couldn't do it and knew it wouldn't come back on her command. Something about this shinigami's posture was reminiscent of her past but he the one in front of her was different. Why though? She couldn't remember anything about it. She would look at the shinigami and wanted to know more, she would look at him with curious eyes. She was obviously confused about something and it looked like she was trying to figure it out by studying the shinigami in front of her.
