Chikyo Enmei, unseated Shinigami of the 8th Division. His title wasn't of much concern, it was what he did with his newfound responsibilities. Everyone in Soul Society knew that Districts 61-80 where the most vile places to roam. Powerful thugs lingered there, living in poverty. Compelled to a familiar passion, Enmei made his way through the 80th district. His sensei Shinryu had did well to educate him as best as possible about his former life, but he seemed to remember bits and pieces on his own.
These bits and pieces helped the young man to walk the middle path during his time in Rukongai. Chikyo was quite familiar with this district, he'd walked through it many a time during his travels. He did his best to qwell fighting and help the poor, oh he was a saint. A large white carrying bag was slung over the young man's right shoulder. It contained all kinds of food, just waiting to give to those whom he passed. With his left index finger he adjusted the bridge of his glasses.
Within the dark alleyways, he could hear footsteps. They were heavy but slow. They weren't refined in anyway, probably belonging to quite the brute. He paused and sighed knowing it was probably someone looking to fight or looking to rob him. Unfortunately, things weren't going to go down as planned. Not after he'd been told of the sacrifice of that young woman. Unfortunately Enmei could not quite remember this girl. Upon entering Rukongai three years ago, his briefest memories were of those in the temple. He could not remember anything prior to that or after it. Even the seemingly dire wound to his right eye. Just the thought caused his left hand to trail the right frame of his glasses.
"How selfish of her to want to take me with her. Truly she was trapped within the illusions of a earthly life right to the bitter end. Had she simply followed the teachings of Buddha-sensei, perhaps she would be living now...no wait, perhaps she is living now, yet I have not found her so I cannot assume."
The thoughts of a solemn Shinigami, he shook his head as a growl came from the alleyway, a large fist moving to strike him from behind. What should have been contact resulted in a fist through air. Unfortunately the man lacked full control of his output, resulting in the fist slamming into the wall. Enmei seemingly materialized upon the man's arm. He was crouched low, ensuring the bag he carried was secured. His right leg extended out in a sweeping kick to knock some sense into the brute. Not that such a strike would be enough to fell the aggressor.
The Party was just getting started.

Freely engulfed by the air around my being. Its vile atmosphere as grotesque as it is was truly refreshing. Something different from what I had been dealing with since becoming a shinigami. Here I was trying to enjoy myself this day. You know mingle with the hos and party with the bitches, but lately it seemed that things were a bit astray in my usual spot.
I usually ventured out amongst this parts to find a bit of excitement, but lately activity was pretty low. Though it seems that since the latest uproar of powerful beings coming to fruition in these parts were truly pressing matters. Surely, I was out here only because of my orders. Still, I sought out to have a rather good time in the process. No need to be too serious all the time, right?
"Ugh...today's just not my day..." I would mutter as a very heartfelt sight was given off from my mouth. I began to reach amongst my shihakusho grasping what seemed to be some herbs. That were politely thrown into this pipe that I was holding. Leaning upon the bar as I'll look over all who were amongst this place. I began to get up from my seated position and make my way towards the door, when these two odd pair stepped out in front of me. My brows going from a lax position to a more furrowed and emotionally filled glare. I would only ask politely once, for my patience would surely be thin, "Would ya excuse me, please?"
Awaiting for these two to make way for me to pass through and continue on with my patrol. I began to take notice of the wry smiles that welcomed my what seemed to be pathetic plea to get by. I would merely hit my pipe one time, before dunking out the ashes on the ground as a vapor trail of herbal essence filled the area behind me. Shrugging as I'll begin to place it amongst my shihakushou, I would merely ease back and await for them both to make a strike.
WRONG!!!
Pushing off my back leg, I'll lunge forward and just as one would expect they reacted as most thugs would. Pulling knives and attempting to gut me. Foolish children! My being seemingly vanished to those with untrained eyes as I'll come forth behind the bigger one of the duo. Taking out trash couldn't have been any more simpler than this. I would proceed to make the saying the bigger they are the harder they fall live up to it's true meaning. With a well placed straight jab into the back of their neck, causing their head to snap back. Leaving him to fall lifeless towards the wooden floor. All I could do was let out a small chuckle. This was entertaining.
Within that time frame his friend attempted to avenge his death, but after witnessing his partner's failures. He began to change his mind slowly backing up from me as I continued to stalk my prey. Finally the prey ran out of room to run away as they ended up against one of the nearest walls and with the raven haired Shinigami glaring amidst him with his only eye. "Party...party...Party...LETS...ALL...GET...WASTED!!!" My last iteration that this peon would only hear. While my foot crashed into his sternum with such force sending the man flying out into the streets of the most deadliest Rukongai Districts. Surely those that sought out power would now flock towards this large uproar.

A party ain't a party if it gets shut down.
SNAP! the man's head was forced to the right. BAP!, the secondary sweeping kick served to nail the brute in the back of the neck, rendering him unconscious. Chikyo's form blured as his movements took motion. His legs curled around the man's arm before flipping to the ground. His graceful land caused his white cloak to flutter in his wake. A loud THUD shook the alleyway but was filtered out. Further ahead, a fellow Shinigami was in combat. The sounds of bones breaking and limbs snapping into action was evident.
The Shinigami up ahead was somewhat noisy, yelling about a party? Enmei moved cautiously, thugs in these parts lurked in the shadows. Awaiting the moment of oppertunity, for if a warrior's guard was down, they'd strike. Victory for these poor fools was the only thing they valued in their newfound existence. "Pathetic, these souls needed to be enlighten." His eyes downcast towards the simpleton that laid deceased. It was clear that his "comrade" had slain him.
"Nakama, did you need to slaughter this poor soul?"
His appearance may have appeared eerie to the young man. The white hood masking his facial features, the sparse light reflecting off his spectacles. He had no intention of causing misconceptions, but it was easy to take in a sinister vibe. Thus Enmei cleared his throat before extending his hand.
"Chikyo Enmei, 8th Division...unseated."
He didn't remove his hood as of yet, enemies were still amongst the shadows. For now his white cloak served to mask his features quite well. Body langauge suffocated beneath it's woven strands, what sort of weapons could one conceal within it's doors? Above was the setting sun, it was just past noon. The skies were clear, hardly a cloud in sight. It's rays casting quite the shadows on this particular alleyway. At the moment it was safe to assume that one of them was on duty. It wasn't possible for them both to be on duty since they'd be covering the same district. That would be considered a waste of man power, even if Seireitei had quite a bit of it.

My senses heightened as I'll begin to take notice at all the eyes that honed in on my position. Still I didn't seem very pleased that my break from patrol was crashed like this. Still I sighed and shrugged as I'll remind these fools that my trusted friend was with me at all times. Glacial blue orbs taking in all that was eerie, but full of surprises. My mind told me to stay ever alert, but of course I wasn't no stranger to these places.
After sighing once more as I stood over this man's corpse, I'll hear a voice call out towards me. Instantly that sight that was just released from my being was now abruptly cut off. My eyes furrowing as I'll begin to turn slowly as this man who's attire consisted of a white hood of some sorts. His features now coming to a rest , but not completely as he was unsure of this man's movements. That was when my lips parted once more, but came to a close as only a few breaths were allowed their exits. For this newly acquainted person went on to introduce themselves, Chikyo Enmei of the 8th Division.
"Nakamura, Kaito of Squad Two. Hmm..." I paused as my mind continued on towards another continent. Completely drifted from the main focal point of it's thought, but still I brought it home. That home was there were two Shinigami's in the same district patrolling. Surely, that wasn't the answer...I needed more answers, but at the moment those other two must be apprehended. "Was it necessary to kill? That's hard to say. Would I have been able to subdue him? Maybe...but I was merely defending myself...Nothing more. I see you don't agree with my methods." There seemed to be an untimely gust of wind, bellowing through the dark alleyway. It ruffled the white cloak in its wake. They seemed to carry Kaito's questions, as well as observations to his ears. His head seemed to downcast slightly. This allowed for Kaito to see a sole visible occulus. Twas Enmei's left, it's gaze not hardened, but focused.
"The act of killing is never necessary, any unseated officer could have subdued these fools. Defense ends when the opponent is unable to maintain a fight. Whether or not I agree with your methods, I shall not disclose. It would imply that I'm casting judgement upon my comrade; which I am not. Perhaps you don't recognize me, we both graduated together after all."
He chuckled a bit before raising his head to look directly to Kaito. It's not as if they associated with each other much. A simple glance, a nod of approval. Mysterious beings tended to understand each other at a glance. Yet it seemed now that they did not understand each other as well as they perceived. That would not get in the way of this unusual reunion. Thus Enmei would be the one to break the ice.
"On patrol I see, I myself am off duty today. The 8th division tends to get more interesting missions, even for a lowly officer like myself."
A subtle strike at the man's remedial duties. The calm aura between the two must have invoked the inner demons of the slums. They felt that it was an oppertunity for them to strike. Oh how they loathed anyone of remotely higher class than themselves! The group was surrounded by eight thugs. Two large ones leading both sides. Red versus Blue in a clash of unrequited passion. This area was noitorous for its various "gangs". Crime ever rampant, they abhored peace and prefered the chaos which ensued. Why could they not seek the light?
Unfurling his robes his legs crunched down. It allowed him to pent up some kinnetic energy, before unleashing it akin to a spring. His body arching in a crescent, his direction returning to the darkness of the alley. In that instant one of the two burly men proceeded to Bull Rush from the darkness of the alleyway. A perfect flank had he been able to mask his reiatsu better. Alas, these brutes were uneducated; how could they hope to stand in the same light as a Shinigami?
His form would disappear into the darkness of the alleyway. The other four thugs coming from the end of the alleyway. It lead out into open space, thus the direction of the light. The sun would provide it's blinding grace in such a direction, making it difficult to focus sights on anything that came from the sky. The tactics of weaklings; sadly. Likewise, Enmei would deal with the faux "stealth" that the thugs embraced. His feet gently perching atop a crate. Shadows would be cast atop a smaller man's form. He was seemingly frail, his back towards the crate. When his eyes beheld the shadows creeping up on him, his body began to quiver.
"M-Mercy!"
Enmei simply ignored the simpleton as a result, his eyes looking out into the darkness. If there were more, he suspected they'd try to utilize the distraction for an attack. Rolling from the crate, utilizing the coward as a platform; his cloak trailed in his wake once more. The cutting of wood was evident, but the form of a mid-sized opposition crashed into the terrain. Enmei turned to the side to face him, aligning his back parralel to the alleyway's walls. It was a safety tactic but it'd also allow him to keep his eyes on three enemies thus far. His senses active as he began to perceive the last lurking strand of reiatsu.

Alas, here I was reuniting with one that was within the academy with me as well. My mind had held some causal meetings. One another acknowledging each other with simple nods, but as time passes these memories seem to fade to white. Leaving a blank impression left on my face as I'll continue to take in all what Enmei had begun to say to me. What was up with this man? Still I began to hear him even go so far as to diss my division's tasks. This man didn't have no clue of what all we were meant to do. It was time for me to set the record straight.
"Excuse me...Dude you like really should take it easy and relax Being a tight ass just doesn't fit you," cooed from my pursed lips as the sun beamed overhead of me and my nakama. Surely, my com-padre could take a little joke, right? Either way as of now...Kaito shall forever live in the moment. In fact, I was mostly known in the academy for my prowess, but that was one flaw they saw in me. That attitude that almost begs for me to go rampant at times, but again....I digress.
My gaze fell upon the sky as a creeping chill of wind combed through my scalp. Relaxing my being as that azure occuli caught wind of something as well. The same reason I was on patrol was surely coming to fruition this moment. Taking only a step back as I gazed at the four approaching me. There they were the infamous gang that the reports talked about. Smiling as the rat came to the cat. It was time for my patience had ran thin. I looked at them as they continued coming and let out a loud yawn as I leaned forth and placed my left hand against my head. That lone eye focused on those before my position.
'Damn...seems I won't get a chance to relax.'
Rising up from my lackadaisical position as these hoodlums were nothing more than trash. I was well aware of them readying their strikes, but my spring in my leap sent me towards the rooftops. Respecting those that didn't want to live within this place and get involved like the residents I sought to bring my battles to the roofs. Surely enough my little playmates came along for the ride.
Turning my back to them I showed how interested I was in this little bout. "I'm tired..." My eyes rising towards the sky that loomed over us all in Soul Soicety.

With his back parallel to the wall, Enmei began to perceive the situation. One of his enemies had seemingly surrndred. The other was looking around dumbfounded, the result of a failed bullrush. His rampage even missed his lacadasical partner whom took his fight to the rooftops. Was this an admirable trait? Chikyo wouldn't have time to focus on his nakama until the end of the bout. The opposition that was most aggresive was slowly approaching. His blade was held at the ready as he sought to draw blood. Staining Enmei's white cloak wasn't exactly in the cards. Not that he held significant attachment to the material possesion. Rather, he simply did not wish to incur pain.
Pain was apart of life, endurance of pain was the key to finding balance. Alas, this pain was easily avoidable, simply unwarranted, and completely unnecessary. Thus Enmei found himself moving ever so cautiously into the alleyway. His parallel walk looked rather odd. He had essentially been walking side to side, The hoodlums really sought excitement this afternoon. Even the one whom proclaimed mercy had gotten to his feet. Eagerness returning to his eyes. "A ploy, hmm perhaps I've been too wound up on this situation to notice." his musing a careful observation with a slight hint towards his nakama's words.
Of course the response was uttered partially in jest, as well as partially in pride. A mission was a mission but too much attachment to superficial things resulted in blindness. His mark of pride, the right occulus which was now glazed over akin to glass, served as testiment to the result of superficial attachment. Shinryu had told him that he was attacked by his own lover, her being devolving into a holow. Hollows were the fate of those whom could not find the path, destined to become like the very beasts they scorned.
He could hardly imagine himself with a lover, such earthly desires were beneath him now. Earthly desires warped the mind, it was why these hoodlums sought battle so much. The adrenaline kick which they felt, twisted pleasure from a natural high..."Your indulgence will get you nowhere in this life, consider this an act of grace. Retreat now and live to see a better path. Persist and shame will be the only thing coursing through your heads."
....Of course they answerd with a "Fuck that, don't screw with us you bastard!"
Such crude statements were unbecoming of anyone, to utter such to a gentleman like himself; unacceptable! The crazy sword wielding bum engaged first. His frantic swings were dodged with a simple sway of the hips. This allowed his upper body to twist, his ower body taking on the strain. His feet seemed to dance this deadly tango, keping on the balls of his feet. This allowed Enmei to stay flexible, versatile movements were the key to successful dodges. His body leaned back allowing a volley of knives to soar overhead. They would plant themself into the chest of the sword wielder. Enmei's senses had finally picked up on the final coward. His arms instantly moved to support his weight as he handsprung into the air.
Careful diagonal twist would allow his hand to grasp the ledge of the rooftop. The momentum he used caused a swinging motion. This would allow a quick loop up to the rooftops on the opposite side of Nakamura. Enmei's gaze looked over to the lazy Shinigami. Even now he didn't seem all that motivated to fight.
"What's the matter Kaito-san? Your academy prowress has left your form entirely. This laid back style just doesn't suit your potential."
It was spoken in such a polite tone that the underlying retort was almost invisible. The art of subtle insults flowed like honey from Enmei's lips. Yet nothing serious was meant from them, the comfort zone etching itself into the atmosphere between them. The two had some similarities but many differences. Their approach to the situation changing and adapting as necessary. Where Nakamura was seemingly begrudging the inevitabe combat, Chikyo welcomed it. an unusual contrast considering their stances and beliefs.
In this situation, Enmei felt that only throw a clash of fists, could logic be beaten into the cerebral of his aggresors. They seemed to learn faster by body experience. Once subdued he could move onto helping those whom truly needed assistance. Seireitei paid little to no attention to the slums, except to ensure that they did not rebel against the high class. It was something he resented of his "home". When he was within Rukongai, the slums were home, he simply pulled from his broken memories in order to educate people about the proper way to live. Now preaching his philosophies was much more difficult. Many a shinigami had considered themslef a "god".
It was this vanity which Chikyo felt the need to erase. Oh irony...was this boy blinded by his belief?

My eyes fixated on what I saw in the future or better yet the comfort of a bed. This patrol had only begun and here I was caught between what seemed to be gang wars. Goodness, not even a shinigami who's trying to get a buzz can enjoy themselves on this day. Above the streets I'll gaze out towards the skies as the clearness may possibly be full of win. Listening to the words of his comrade as my assailants struck out at me, cause merely they couldn't stand my progression to power. My being standing there idly awaiting these pathetic thugs to cover the position.
Swaying towards the blue bastards with my hands resting as I gazed towards the sky once more. It was obvious that these hoodlums were not going to allow me to get any rest this day. Not even give me a chance to enjoy the view. These pathetic good for nothings...they were beginning to get on my nerves and with that said. I'll continue to playfully toy with these little kids as their foolish game would soon reach a climatic ending. That ending was apparent as I'll grasp one of the thugs who lunged at me with their long auburn hair by the wrist. Twisting and contorting it to a way as to inflict pain on this man before me. "Man...do me a favor and give up," the words escaping my gullet as I'll look at the other two within front of me with that lone eye. Surely, they would think they have found a weakness in my being.
"And you're very lively today, Chikyo," cooed my being as I'll twist with the auburn haired maniac. His body flowing with mines and with a smooth dip of my right shoulder. My left hand coming to aid my right as I sent the fool flying off the roof. The crate that was sitting on the side of the tavern were now shattered. Not even a sliver of a chance for it to survive that man's fall. Bringing my hand up to my mouth once more as I'll yawn again. Turning around to confront the other three that were left, there was only a split second left. Left for what you may ask...My body seemingly reeling with pain as I'll bedn backwards, but alas there was nothing there. No matter meeting the metallic blade at all. Frantically, searching for me as I'll watch them from afar, but for only a moment. I'll grasp a pebble within my right hand and merely flick it towards them with enough force. Proving that even a stone cast by a master can bring down a titan.
The stone coming from the north crashing into the tallest of their crew as he'll merely give way. Crashing on his back, his nakama checking him out wondering what happened. That's when they began to look around and mutter words of hatred towards me under their breaths. Finally, they'll locate my position seemingly back where I started at, but this time. I was laying out across the rooftops with my arm propped up holding my head as my eyes began to slowly close. It seemed I was getting a bit sleepy, but I couldn't rest with all this noise going around. Then again, there's nothing wrong with a little nap, was it? [/blockquote]

Kira headed towards a Bar in the 81st district after learning he has been taken into the 9th squad. He was excited even though he was to start off a low rank and not have a seat. But for some reason that did not seem to bother time to much, instead it made him feel like he had a purpose and was slowly on the rise. So he figured to celebrate the day by going to a bar and getting drunk off some sake, before he started getting into the grind of being a true soul reaper. For Kira knew that everything he learned at the academy would not do anything for him at this point and time. Because he would learn it all over again from all the new members in his squad.
As Kira walked towards the bar, he took the time to look around the area and say goodbye one last time to the place he spent a short amount of time of his soul reaper life at. For he didn't want to deal with the pain that was still left in his heart from dying and leaving the people behind that he loved and cared for in the real world. But Deep down he knew what he was doing was for a better cause, and would help many people in the long run. He started to notice not much had changed in the 81st district, it was still the run down shit hole it was when he left, just like the place he lived at in the real world.
Kira carefully walked into the bar not to draw any un-wanted attention to himself, for he just wanted the moment to himself so he could celebrate in peace. He looked over towards the bartender, and signaled him over so he could get his order in. " One bottle of sake please", the bartender went off to get his order. As he waited he started to notice some sort of gang noise going on outside, but he did not let that ruin his day of celebration. The bartender came back with sake, and Kira snatched it out of no where and started to chug while already ordering a second round. After he finished the first he quickly ran down the second and was soon plastered. Which soon lead to Kira stumbling around the bar like a drunk moron saying random things. He danced his way out towards the streets and was starting to sing random things and started to draw the un-wanted attention he was trying to avoid in the first place.

Mumei sighed as he found himself standing in the middle of the gates leading out into the dirty city that some may refer to as ‘heaven’ his dark purple eyes closed slowly behind the eye slots of the hollow wolf helm, his hair hung from the back blowing in the wind as the large, foolish, in other words monstrosity lifted the gate for the member to make his way out of the pure soul society, into the dirty streets of rukongai.
The moment he took a step out of the clean land he instantly went on guard, the happi that protected his body dangled, as soft jingle of his chain mail chimed in the air with each time he skipped. Just from experience he could feel the eyes of the citizens looking at him. Was he a shinigami or just a normal person? He continued to skip through the districts making his way to his favorite spot of all DISTRICT 81 the district he once called home where he made himself earned the name “Mad hatter” As he came up on the district he noticed a shinigami ahead of him, going towards the same bar, of course he tried to act cool, but was he really?
Watching the foolish shinigami go into the bar Mumei started to hear the noise of what may have been a struggle, he knew not where it was, only the direction his body shifted, and his middle and index finger stood out, as his reiatsu made its way to the stage focusing on the two fingers while his other palm grasped tightly at his wrist. “Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! “ The reiatsu continued charging, but of course his mind became distracted by the sight of the soul reaper from before coming out of the bar dancing making a complete fool of himself. Mumei could only watch in curiosity of how much he could have drank in less than five minutes, but the attack as completely halted, instead he took to a near by roof top hoping to catch a sight of what was going on. “See no fools, hear no fools, kill all fools, I must” The shinigami sang this little lullaby as he skipped along the rooftop, prepping his gloves to share his feelings for ruining his drinking mood.

"Yes, we've certainly swapped roles."
His voice just barely cutting off as he ducked low from another mad sword strike. His footwork here was quite impressive, his ducking motion was an elaborate sway to the right, his feet sliding apart into a strong front stance. Enmei moved to his palms back before launching a double palm strike. It was delivered to the swordsman abdomen. That strike wasn't strong enough to send the man flying, after all it was performed by a hakuda non-specialist. Instead he made a sweeping motion with his off foot. It circled in a counter-clockwise motion, allowing him to deliver a powerful backhand. The momentum was enough to send the swordsman flying a few feet across the rooftop.
Interesting enough the swordsman proceeded to roll towards the edge of the rooftop. It allowed his senses to pick up on the sneaky one who "surrendered" earlier. He was sneaking up on an another Shinigami who arrived on scene. This one seemed rather jolly, though his face was covered by what could only be guessed as a mask. This detail was hard to make out with sight alone. In the meanwhile Enmei still had one more important to dispatch.
Soon enough Enmei would resume his character, simply sitting down in a meditative stance. As long as this last enemy didn't attack, Enmei would have to say a brief prayer for the goons whom were beat. Surely they would learn the right path now that they experienced pain. It'd also serve as a way to make sure the food he carried was not crushed. He had watched it cautiously, aiming to not use too many kicks. For now he'd continue to sense reiatsu, soon detecting yet another Shinigami within the area. Clearly this district held some favour with Shinigami after all, but what kind of Shinigami were they?

Feeling the added rush of adrenaline trying to find itself through my tangible body as it'll become a bit weary. Seems that I was finding myself getting tired and fed up with these fools. Finally, noticing a spike in reiatsu around me that seemed to go unbeknown to them. My being seemingly began to move as I'll grasp my head as I'll roll on my back. What was it that brought me here? Ahh...that's right! I'm on a mission. FUCK!
Sitting up right as I brought my knee up towards my chest, before finally placing my hand on the tradition Japanese tiles. Pushing up with a amount of pressure that seemed like my being had now obtained a new mode. That mode seemed very hungry and insatiable, but maybe it was just the fact that his patience was now running thin. Looking at the two as my hand went upon my scalp taking it's burden away. Stepping forth once more it was almost instantaneous, appearing before the most courageous of the duo. My eyes meeting his as my forehead slammed into his. I'll merely grasp my brow and begin to speak,"My...my...my...that kinda hurt." My mind simply finding itself on executing these fools.
My paranormal being was now fueled with rage for the last time this day. All I wanted to do was merely relax on this patrol. Hence the only reason I went on this wretched mission, but now I was having trouble with getting that needed rest. It was as if I was filled with insomnia, but alas I digress for my problem was these so called thugs that thought this was their place. Thinking they can to do whatever. Not on this day while I was around. Now my being was beginning to fill the vibe of this soundtrack that I would continue to destroy these fools too. That was when I looked to my right as the other began to cower away with fear.
I noticed one of my own out in the streets dancing foolishly...a vein popping up around my forehead as his singing began to annoy me. Grasping the stray that sought refuge from my punishment that was nothing more than absolute...I'll continue to feel the needed anger growing within me, man was this Shinigami annoying. His cloth within my clutches now as I'll hoist him up within the air. Finally pivoting on my right foot and my arm flinging forward with a such veracity...It'll snipe the drunken fool within the middle of the street as the stray dog's face met the alcoholic's face seemingly in yaoi yaoi fashion. Turning around and finally laying back down once more. It seemed that things would settle down as the body would seemingly crush that annoyance that was a shinigami. "...Headshot," as I muttered under my breath returning back to my relaxed state as I'll begin to lay on my back. Looking up at the sky once more,"..." [/blockquote]

Kira had a hard time walking about one the streets with so little sake in him it was almost sad to see someone drunk like that. Which in his case was always true he could never last long after a few rounds of sake. It was always after the second one he lost control of himself for the most part. But that did not stop him from turing around and heading straight back into the bar to sober up and get ready for another round. He fell flat on his face while heading back, and the object that stopped tripped him up was a small rock. Kira looked up from the ground and slowly crawled his was way back into the bar.
Kira dragged himself towards an area in the corner where he could rest for a moment. While in the bar he noticed another soul reaper and could sense his power in the room. Kira didn't want to find trouble so he thought it best to mind his own and sober himself up in the corner a bit before doing anything else. While laying in the corner staring up at the wall he started to enter some form of deep thought.

Mumei slid on those gloves which always seemed to make him feel like a child again.. If only he could remember his child-hood. His eyes seemed to have caught hold of two more Shinigami which almost immediately shut down his fun his blades would have to stay hidden in their sheath instead of tasting the blood of some poor fools…Which one seemed to have thought that he could kill this Shinigami by using a simple tile that had a dull point.
His body Jerked feeling something push into his body immediately falling to his knees before impacting with the ground, the sounds of the gang member laughing could easily be heard by those nearby in such a happy mood to of taken down a Shinigami, but did he really?
Taking his valuable time to bask in glory the bandit went ahead and found his greedy little paws grabbing on the blade of the shinigami, in belief that he himself could lift it, finally hit the pride of Mumei. “Oi….I’m not dead, I’m not even hurt you mutt.” The young warrior said softly, rolling onto his side to get a look at the gang member that stood over him, “D…Don’t tell me you were going to take advantage of my body.” He said staring into the black guys of the man, his own purple eyes looking so innocent as a tear came to them almost a star performance if he didn’t have a murderous grin on his face.
As if his life depended on it the young bandit leaped off the Shinigami holding up the same tile again shouting pointless threats while Mumei took to his feet. “….I can see my strength has made you cry.” He said with a confident smirk which did nothing more than confuse the bandit. ”Don’t try and confuse me” The bandit said rushing at Mumei who of course simply side stepped the boy, both his arms rose to each side of his face, palms lightly formed in fist while his knee raised in the air. The innocent look he had given before now faded into nothingness, as if his entire personality switched along with the attack of the boy who swung that useless tile again.
His leg dangled in the air, like a rattle snake eyeing its prey, but the stomp that was delivered stopping the oncoming attack may be referenced to the feeling of a horses kick. “I’m un-armed.” He said looking at the boy’s face seeing such a painful reaction brought a odd feeling to him.. Pleasure? Not having any time to enjoy made him sad since the victim recovered. The first swing the bandit threw was completely wide, before impact Mumei shot a fist over the boys arm pushing in connecting a counter blow, rocking his jaw a little. “Fantastic.”
The bandit said nothing holding the pain in, and only went for another swing this time Mumei ducked and delivered a powerful liver blow pushing the metal braces deep into the boys side. “Great..” His eyes looked up and saw the boy’s eyes slowly turning white, his downfall was a soft blob of drool fell from his jaw landing on the angry shinigami’s mask. “……C-C-C-C-” He had almost a rough time spitting out the words. “COMBO BREAKER!” His words come out in a loud, but low, his body rocking back to the side slamming the fist into the boy’s jaw repeatedly moving in a figure 8 form, his anger increasing while visions of spit on his mask continued to form in his mind, if not for the flying bandit that was thrown, the bandit may as well have been dead.
The moment he finished his 20th strike on the boy, he saw the bandit fly passed him, but he did not know the landing point was smacking a kiss on the shinigami from before lips. His own irritation got the best of him which was proven by him grabbing the boys neck and flinging him at the other shinigami. “WHOSE THROWING SHIT AT ME!?” He screamed out the question watching the thrown bandit crash into another gang member who seemed to be rushing the other shinigami “Enmei is that your shit?” He asked finally in attempt to calm down.

Enmei had entered a meditative stance, his aura calm and serene. They'd all seen him take this stanc before. It was within the recreational garden. Perched beneath a Sakura tree, Enmei meditated peacefully. His mind within another world, his own inner world. "Why is there no daylight in my heart, have I not obtained enlightenment?" His thoughts drifted as the world around him subsided. The last whispering voice picked up was "...Headshot", at which point darkness ensued. Flowing Red Ribbons swayed and danced around his being. They were ready to strike out at anything that entered their temporary domain.
Upon opening his "eyes", he could see the beautiful moon, it was heading towards a crescent. His expression seemed puzzled, why was there so little light inside? The waters seemed to crash into the sandy dunes. He seemed to be backed up, rocks behind him and endless waters ahead. Not the best of places, no sir. His ears seemed to tune in, straining to hear anything...only the water and it's violent symphony remained. The more he focused his spiritual energy, the warmer he felt. Something was guiding him, turning his head gently to see---
...To see that one of the hoodlums was flying towards him. Nay, TWO of them...
His body rocked in place, a gentle sway as if he was caught in dance. His body mirroring the movements of a snake, before readjusting itself into a shoulder roll. This placed him leaning on a knee, easily able to move into a standing position. At which point he looked up. He was now closer to the edge of the rooftop, thus capable of seeing whom yelled out to him. He had missed the earlier loud declarations, but he certainly caught the portion mentioning his name. T
The voice was all to familiar, he chuckled.
"Mumei-senpai," his tone somewhat mocking but the obvious respect for his fellow Shinigami (whom was older) was present. Ironically, they both graduated the same year...thus his mock-senpai in place of his usual -san was utilized. I came here to affiliate myself with those seeking change, a better path in life. These fools aren't tied to my goodworks, though perhaps through pain they will be able to grasp onto life's true meaning.
He briefly glanced over his shoulders before dropping his hood. His eyes then looked to Kaito's direction. His expression changed to a frown, indicating his disappointment in Kaito's lack of enthusiasm.
"Hey Kaito, you've got several comrades observing your patrol...you can't afford to sleep."

Finally, I would be able to get some peace and quiet now. Laying on my back as I turned over and my eyes fell upon the skies. The clear skies were such a refreshing sight as it often shared a acquaintance with it on days like these. That person was me and my torn soul. At times I have the answers. Sometimes I don't, but then again why would one want all the answers to all things going on. The question still bothers him every now and then, but still the fact he was here meant he was given a second chance. Glacial blue orb of light was still focused on this beautiful art ever. Though a thought came through my mind dealing with the weather conditions of Soul Society.
It was finally time to re...before I could even get the thought in my mind of how refreshing this would be. There was a rather loud voice going off in the vicinity and I'll have to deal with another heathen. Alas, it would be different cause that voice began to ring bells throughout my head. I heard this one before...it was the same place I knew Enmei from. I digress for I forgotten the soul that seemingly found himself out here. Still, he was causing too much noise for me...Damn it seemed I couldn't get away from this ruckus at all.
Reaching into my shihakusho as I'll grasp my pipe and drop some herbs into it's crevice. I'll bring the contraption towards my mouth eyes still locked on the skies above me. I'll begin to take a puff off of it as the vapor from the item began to go towards the skies itself. Feeling the sensation that was coming over my body as the smoke seemingly relaxed me some more . I'll hit it even harder this time, simply to bask in the essence of this lovely aroma. Something that surely would bestow Enlightenment to my being. Speaking of Chikyo Enmei...a thought did run through my mind. How was he fairing against those pathetic weaklings? Surely, he wouldn't be taken down so easily. That was when he'll break my train of thought with mere words of his own. Talking about me being more lively or something like that. What in the hell is wrong with this man? That's twice he's been telling me to do things as if he was my father...Whatever. I'll listen to his words carefully as he mentioned something bout my patrol. My voice would then speak as a trail of smoke would escape my moist lips, "Chikyo...You do realize I want to relax before dealing with these ridiculous requests from the higher ups," as I'll stop to take another hit once more., I'll continue to speak, "...So can I?" With those words escaping my mouth, a wry smile came over my face. Surely, he knew of my prowess and many others did, but now I grew tired of that place sometimes. Needing that break from it as those silly and I do repeat SILLY thugs did from life.[/blockquote]

Mumei simply sighed as he watched the pathetic man fly into his own comrade taking the two out, but what seemed to upset him was the voice of his ‘dear friend’ Enmei. “You bastard.” The shinigami said under his breath once again he was expecting an answer from the man, but chances of Enmei actually answering him was very low since he said it so quietly. “…I can tell my strength has made you cry.” His mind seemed to fade away, and his body went in auto drive. Those cold purple eyes that he was so proud of and could see perfectly (20/20 and anything beyond .)
His Happi jingled softly with the chain mail inside, with each skip his arms stay solidly at his side, while the sun almost seemed to run from the mask in fear of its vicious appearance. “La…..La, La, See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil no…. See no fools, hear no fools, kill all fools to know. Whats behind those big doors, her screams pleasure me.” Softly the Shinigami sang these lyrics slowly, and in a rather low voice, and still with out a care in the world like a child being brought into this world for the first time the Shinigami pushed himself in the air, floating easily to the next roof sharing this land now with the Chibi.
Still not paying any true attention to the other Shinigami he kept on his way, as behind his eye lids all he could see was the one person in his life that ever mattered his could have been wife, and father of his children seemed to be leading him along a path made of white sand outlined with black stones, and all around him was a vicious battle field only thing that protected this path honestly was the chains seemed to be hanging quite randomly the fired up battle field almost seemed like a painting since time had stopped, the faces of the fallen Ronin and shinsengumi like folks, had seemed so familiar, but to a large staircase was he led by this girl singing the same tune, but in reality he was skipping near the edge of the roof, but he did it yet again.
He leaped from the roof floating softly in the air, before landing gracefully on the next roof, sharing this one with Kaito, but in his mind he was approaching the staircase still. If not for him noticing the color of his lovers hair turning to a faint white slowly strand by strand Buddha knows what would of happened, but seeing this fake flared him up. “GODDAMN YOU FAKE, STOP HAUNTING MY DREAMS!” Along with his outburst he ripped out the large cleaver blade and stabbed the girl, in reality he found himself next to the fellow shinigami, his blade not far from the head of this poor soul, but like normal Mumei showed no care. “Shit…I need to drink or thats going to happen again.” He said in his mind before his trusty nose picked up on something interesting
Like some kind of beast he turned to Kaito opening both eyes he gazed at the pipe, and a sly grin appeared on his face, still paying no mind to the cleaver deep in the ceiling that may of destroyed god knows what. “Ey..Let me hit.” He said to the lazy Shinigami. “You shouldn’t listen to that annoying Chibi over there.”

Mumei's angry protestations were met with a calm rely from Enmei, minus the sarcasm in his greeting. Such actions should have been enough to satisfy a normal man, alas this was Mumei. His voice trailed in the air, but to the normal ears they'd be lost. Enmei seemingly had normal ears, yet it didn't stop him from flashing a warm smile in his general direction. Wheter or not he witnessed it depended on when he went into his trance, regardless Enmei had shifted his own focus towards an old friend.
No surprise, he was on his back, attempting to "relax". "Ah, there's that pipe of his, at least it gets him to think straight."
He wasn't going to say much more, except that he had reminded Kaito about multiple Shinigami being present. Naturally, Kaito had a prepared retort. As always, Kaito decided to settle for the usual; compromise. Requesting permission from the eight division shinigami was really unnecessary, well unnecessary in terms of reporting. It wasn't like Chikyo was going to report the second division shinigami all the same. He was on his own mission and didn't really feel like being slowed down too much.
"...Feel free to rest Kaito, when you're done you can make sure these hoodlums are properly attended to. It's your duty since you're on patrol after---"
Not like Enmei had much time for no sooner did a certain shinigami come along skipping. Well, it didn't "appear" to be any Shinigami he knew. The hollow mask adorned across his features. It did well to mask his true identity, though the garb and attire was familiar. Considering the rooftop positions, Enmei quickly sprung to his feet. He'd jump from his current position to Kaito's rooftop. The sudden stabbing motion into the ground caught him by surprise! The outrage within the beast's, man's form clearly indicated it was Mumei after all. Staying on guard towards their flank, he'd proceed to watch.
Chikyo's ears caught word of Mumei's insult. The brute of a shinigami had taken a liking to calling Enmei 'Chibi". He shrugged both shoulders and shook his head. There was no reasoning with the insane, after all.
"You can chose to turn your gaze to ignorance or seek the middle path Kaito. Regardless, I have a mission so I'll come check on you two later."
Enmei, feeling relieved that the two were okay now, decided to hit the lower levels. His form disappearing, not in a blur but just quick enough to make one wonder.

Surely, my mind was still a bit astray from other things. Still I continued to wonder what the rest of the day held for me. With my lids finally closing as I'll take another hit once more while the aroma filled the air about me. Enmei's words began to come towards my ears once more. It seemed he had a few choice words for me, but I didn't expect anything less from the old chap. Listening to my nakama, I'll hear the sounds of someone landing near by around me. Though my body was completely relaxed and I didn't care as long as they didn't bother me. Enmei's words dropped short as I noticed a hollow mask looking down on me.
!!!
Then a small metallic object came crashing down right beside my head stabbing through the very tiles of this roof. My lackadaisical demeanor still expressed completely through my body language. I'll look at the man before me, and notice the voice as it screamed about some dream. Damn...Seems I won't be enjoying any dreaming with this lunatic around. Then another pair of feet came upon my resting area. Alas, sleeping was out of the question it seemed. Still, my eyes meeting this strange man before me. With a gaze that blatantly had the "da fuck" expression on my face. It'll soon turn to me taking one more puff from my pipe as the aroma escaped my lips towards the atmosphere.
The man's voice was none other than Mumei's, after all. Him asking to hit his pipe was a shocker, but alas one as myself didn't care. He'll then go on to tell me that I shouldn't listen to Enmei whom he shot an insult towards. All I could do was merely let a grin come over my face for, but a moment. Remembering all about the academy...the ins and outs of it. The amount of trouble some of us got into as we attended that wretched place. Ugh...Soul Society disgusted me in a way, but then again it was a place one could call home. Sadly these were my comrades. Finally, still resting and can't even catch my Z's...I'll speak. Though there was a cloud of smoke escaping my nostrils before the words followed. It would go something like this...
"Ciao-su," my voice seemingly faded as the roof gave way. Falling through as I saw my pipe sit in the air for a full ten seconds. My being continuously fading away as I gave no efforts in stopping my fall. It seemed that the cleaver from that fool had hit a spot that wasn't quite repaired and now I was sent sprawling inside. Little did I know...it would have him coming along as well, but surely he'll act out to make it seem all cool. Me...nah. It wasn't my thing. I'll plummet into darkness no matter where I was. Maybe I could find peace and quiet there to rest. That was when I found myself hitting something rather hard within my descent.
! Dropping down as the broken roof shavings would seemingly fall down as well. I'll notice that where I had landed was not some dark hole that I could have to myself for some rest. It was someone's home, but whose was it. Looking out into the darkness as I'll continually lay where I was. That's when the owner of the home eyes found me. Surely, they were shocked by the damage caused, but alas I digress. The damage wasn't done by me, surely they would understand that, right? No, they wouldn't. Things were never looking that good when one was once a prodigy. "My...my...didn't mean to dro....p" I was now at a loss of words. For when my eyes finally fell upon the owners and the rest of them. It was an true angel before my eyes, finally. Finally, it seems that I had found salvation. Looking over this lady as I remained laying there. My eyes only went back towards the rooftops, but a moment to realize how much damage this fool had caused her home. I'll return my gaze to her as I began to explain my situation, but her beauty was taking my words away. Or...maybe I was just far too lazy to even explain it. Still, I had to do something or I would surely be in trouble by the higher-ups and then I'll be stuck in Seireitei. And we all know how much I dread that place for it's vast amounts of noise. Damn...I Miss my pipe already. "Gomenasai, malady. Seems that while handling some ruffians around this area. These damages will be repaired. So sorry for causing you such troubles," I would pause as I continued to search for more words to accompany the situation than me finding excuses out of this. Perhaps, she would allow me to get some rest here as well. I was hoping that was the case, but if that foolish Mumei was in here too then that obviously was out of the question, "Sorry for the inconveniences. I'll be glad to assist you in any way, my lady." "..." she would mutter nothing as her gaze was just icy...What else could possibly go wrong?[/blockquote]

Dreams are something to truly to be scared of when it comes to Mumei for his mind is constantly haunted by the death of his ex love unlike many shinigami who lose their love before their arrival, his mind was already tainted with odd feelings for women, some may be brought on by his past, and some obviously from his present form, the thought of operating and making the perfect woman had crossed his mind many of times, but would he ever find the right subject?
Within moments everything about his meeting with the other shinigami went straight under… Literally wit the ceiling beneath them giving up this young Samurai found himself trying to avoid an un-perfect landing, his hands and knees pushed up giving him a front tilt, while his hands moved the Cleaver back into place, the mask that sat proudly over his face was quickly removed and thrown high in the air. By this time he managed to fall through the hole grabbing that shinigami’s pipe before any of the ‘medicine’ inside was released back to the earth below.
With a proud smirk he joined that other Shinigami into the home of the stranger, but his trip was short considering his body hit a very strong beam about 5 ft above where Kaito-the-intruder fell. “…That hurt.” He said to Kaito before his eyes started wandering over to the beautiful female, her body instantly caught his full attention, but not quite sure if she had his, he couldn’t do much, but gaze at her body, making his thank whatever lord is out there that he was born and died with perfect vision, and that them Shinsengumi hackers only cut his head off and not his eyes.
Like some kind of animal (more like a machine) those purple eyes went to work sizing her up, the curves of her body intoxicated the shinigami, and what she was carrying behind her was indeed a ass worthy of mention, moving ever so slowly he cleaned the pipe with his sleeve before putting it in his mouth and taking a puff, inhaling the riches from the earth, and letting it flow out through his nose. “…Its as if I found myself looking at a goddess, if not for those bandits sneaking around we would not of crashed through the ceiling of such a beautiful woman’s home, I apologize for the damages.” He said in attempt to catch her attention, while keeping a oddly pleasant smile on his face. Almost like he timed it all, his arm reached out lazily catching the hollow mask before it crashed into the ground.
He was fighting himself trying not to let her know the truth that his strength had made her roof cry, but after all this was nothing more than an experiment to him, to see how a few kind words that mean nothing to him can make them change, of course this whole time he strategically kept his eyes from being noticed, but he was fully prepared to place blame on a certain Chibi.
