It was a nice bloomy day, the sky was filled up with endless spectacles of sapphires. No sweeter was the sound than the sweet birds singing ringing in Atsuko's ear. It seemed like his troubles were so far away, but yet they were so close. Huh, Only if every day was like this, Atsuko thought. While out in the fields, one of the young shinigami's fellow comrade started run to him with full of excitement, I wonder why he's so happy? he wondered. Nothing usually was happy nor sad in Soul Society, but then again there's always a first time. The excited Shinigami bursted out "Atsuko, Tai-Chou wants to talk to you. I heard you were going to the real world for a mission. Isn't that great?"
"Yay a mission!", Atsuko said sarcastically. He'd always remember the incident that happened to him while he was a young man living in the real world, it seemed like he couldn't get to grips with his past life. Yet he saw it as an opportunity to let go on this particular mission. Atsuko quickly hurried off to the division barracks to meet the Captain of his division. The lad knelt down at the front of the room where the Captain was waiting.
"You may enter."
The young man was very eager to know what his mission was, he walked into the same room with his Captain and greeted him accordingly. "Atsuko Mizushima, reporting for duty. Tai-Chou!". He was then ordered to sit while the Captain explained about this particular mission.
"Atsuko, I feel something is not right with you. It seems like there is something in your past disturbing you even until now. That's why I am sending you on a solo mission so you can a means of what happened to you in your past life. You are enter the Senkaimon gate and enter into Karakura Town. There has been large report of abnormal hollow activity recently, I want you to cleanse all hollows and to perform Soul burials if necessary. You are Dimissed"
The Captain was very concerned about his sub-ordinate, If he doesn't overcome his past or put his grievances to rest, he will never reach his full potential as a Shinigami. I want to see the day when he becomes my Vice-Captain or better yet a future Captain, he thought.

Thus upon entering the senkaimon gate to Karakura town, I pondered about what Tai-chou said to me. Was I really that grieved with my past that even my captain could pick it up? He is right though, if I don't over come this problem I will never reach the potential I have in me. Why is it haunting me so bad?, my memory of her that is.The young shinigami couldn't forget about the girl that he once loved while living in the real world. It wasn't because Atsuko missed her but the circumstances the way he left her. It seems like Atsuko has full recollection of his beloved one. "It's so long ago, how can this ruin me like this?", I said out loudly.
I entered into the senkaimon gate, upon my rival my mind was blown away with the sight of the world. I couldn't believe it, is this really what the real world is like? Atusko was amazed by the new mysterious inventions that the human had created over time. Shucks...,Those buildings over there are massive. What's that noise? While Atsuko was enjoying the view, he was interrupted by a weird noise. By the looks of it, it was a plus soul in distress being chased by multiple hollow. It was little girl clothed in a little pink dress, with her hair formatted with pigtails.
"Hang on there", I shouted. I immediately rushed to the aid of the little girl, I just had to save her. As I was ascending upon on of the monstrous hollow, I swung my sword at his head. The sly hollow somehow swerved to the side avoiding my attack. The band of the rest of the hollows all pointed their attention to me, they circled me. As they did so, they licked their lips "A Shinigami, how FANTASTIC!" they roared.

The young Shinigami smirked as these hollows banded around him, saying "My, my.. What do we have here? Pathetic weaklings, all six of you attacking one little innocent girl. How amusing!" the hollows were furious when they heard such remarks by such a low Shinigami, they thought. These hollows looked very similar to each other, each of them had some sort of brand on their backs. A circular symbol with a line going through the middle. It seems though they were in a pact. However, this never sidetracted Atsuko to cleanse them. Atsuko was stuck in the middle, he had no choice but to use kido he learnt at the academy. "I guess here it comes, Way of Destruction No. 31: Shot of Red Fire!" Aim, fire,and hit! He landed bulls-eye to several of the hollows, but yet it seem liked it still wasn't enough. "Stupid Shinigami, it will take more to kill us like that!" To Atsuko's amazement, the five hollows combined to become two separate hollows. "These are our real forms!" said the lay like hollow. These particular hollow reminded the young lad of a Greek mythology creature he once saw a picture of in a book. She had snake like hair, with yellow piercing eyes. Her hollow form was like of a snake, with her whole body covered with scales and a tail to compensate for her legs. However the other hollow was very elegant in shape, she took the form of a tigress fully covered with stripes of black all over her. "Let us introduce ourselves, we aren't ordinary hollow as you can see. We are Adjuchas class hollow, meaning we eat hollows to further our strength. The name is Serpiente Tortuosa!"
"And my name is Tigresa Elegante!" said the other. What the heck did i get myself into, the young shinigami thought. I don't know if I'm able to defeat such hollows, I've never really came across these weird but interesting specimens of hollow before. It was time to see whether or not Atsuko skills and potential would come out in this fight. Astonishing as it seemed, Tigresa howled with pain. It seems as though she was resisting something, her white protective hollow mask began to mirror a familiar face. It was the face of Shira. Tears rolled down the young man's cheek, with a loud cry "SHIRA!" This girl was once the beloved girl of Atsuko. How could Atsuko ever forget about her? The fact is, this girl was the only person he could remember from his past life so well. Tigeresa or Shira, so it seemed to be, flashed out of the scene leaving her hideous partner to deal with Atsuko. "It seems like your all mine!", said Serpiente excitedly.. Atsuko knew that he had to defeat this hollow very quick if he was to find Shira and help her. Yet the little innocent girl was not to be forgotten, Atsuko kept track of her reiatsu through the whole time and knew her very exact location. "What did you do to her!", Atsuko screamed out by the top of his lungs. "I simply told her to give in to her urges and to give up resisting the hollow she would become."
"I will kill you for this!", this time it was very personal. Atsuko drewed out his sword, aiming the tip of it at the head of Serpiente. Such attempts to taunt the young man was futile, he was taught from the beginning of Soul Academy that he must not fight with any emotions. These emotion would only hinder his true ability to fight. Description: The user gathers reiatsu into the palm of their dominant hand, extending their palm forward. The user then places their off hand on their wrist, wrapping their fingers around it. They then gather the reiatsu into a ball of energy floating in front of the palm. The user then releases the ball of red energy forward like a cannon-ball. It will explode on contact with anything, much like a grenade or rocket.
