The hollow busted out from her grave, leaving her physical body (which was now rotten beyond recognition) behind. Only one thing was on her mind now, and that was food. She hadn’t eaten in weeks, and her craving was for a particular soul. The one of her murderer. A guttural groan left her segmented body as she wriggled forwards, only her alabaster mask to distinguish her form from the darkened allies of the Red Light District.
The stench of sin floated through the air, a pungent odor that the once beautiful young woman was most familiar with. She didn’t care who saw her in this state. If they got close enough, she would simply devour them. Earlier, she had heard from a distant ally a few hollows conversing about how to regain their human shape. Though she couldn’t remember what she looked like, she knew that she was beautiful, and that she longed to be that way once again.
“Where is he!?” she wailed, barreling through the labyrinth of alleys behind the shops of the Red Light district. Crates and trash cans were trampled or destroyed as she traveled, her movement off balance and choppy due to her newly acquired size and shape. Blinded by bloodlust, she would search for eternity if she had to. She needed to find her murderer. And she needed him dead.

The smashing throughout the alleyways had alerted the beast to the presence of something coming towards him. It indeed sounded big, and the reiatsu wasn't of no shinigami that was for sure - it felt somehow more..evil. Another hollow, perhaps? The sight of Hollow wasn't the most uncommon thing in Karakura, but it still interested Ferus to interact with his 'allies'. The long, red tongue of Ferus poked through rows of vicious white teeth in anticipation of the arrival of the beast that was making quite a ruckus. He turned his body fully, carefully maneuvering his massive body so that he didn't make any noise as to not draw attention to his position. The Hollow bent his knees and crouched, arms outstretched forward as he now stood on all fours; revealing the large stringer that bore from the back of his neck. At a moments notice he would be prepared to strike should the situation call for it, although his stance was more neutral than anything.
Alas, the source of the commotion revealed itself, and she was of an interesting design, that was for certain. In Ferus' eyes the Hollow held the appearance of a massive worm, or caterpillar - it was the first time he'd ever seen a Hollow that held an appearance like this, and he was slightly intrigued. It only took a second of analyzing to realize she was hunting for something, more than likely it was souls for her to devour, seeing as an insatiable hunger was what plagued all Hollows.
"Looking for somebody?"
The voice of Ferus came out in a loud roar from the other end of the alley. He stoop opposite to the long creature and directly in her path if she wished to traverse this alley. He wasn't one to be aggressive to his 'comrades', but he wasn't one to trust them either - especially one that was hungry.[/color]

Thrashing through the alleys, she suddenly heard a voice from behind her. However, it didn’t sound human. Furthermore, she could almost sense his presence. Was this a new ability that came with death? Writhing her body to face this intruder, her mask finally locked eye contact with his. “Stand down.” She said through heaving breathes. “Not….you.” Her new body certainly was cumbersome, and the frustration of not having it under control was only adding to her rage.
With a few clumsy wriggles of her body, she began to snake through the alleys to the place where her last client liked to pick up tricks. Though she couldn’t remember anything about her own life, the image of this very spot had been ingrained in her mind like instinct. Fury imbued optics frantically scanned the main street, searching for the man that caused her demise.
Locking onto the one who she sought, she pushed forwards with all her might in order to close the distance between them. A sudden crackling noise was audible as she writhed closer to her target. What was this? Another ability gained through death? It appeared that the hollow had discovered Sonido, a useful but limited ability. Smashing into both the man and his “escort,” she sent both bodies backwards to slam into the exterior of a shop. Though she had only clipped the woman, the man’s spine had been broken on impact. Crawling atop his broken body, the mans soul was consumed.
A glorious feeling overtook her form. For the first time, she felt pleasure. Her segmented body suddenly shuddered, and thanks to the nourishment she had received, her mind had settled a bit. However, the sheer rapture that was bestowed upon her when a soul was devoured was too good to pass up. A quick twist of her body changed her target to that of the young woman who was still recovering from the previous impact. With another quick burst of her new speed ability, the hollow devoured the woman’s soul as she passed through her. The same feeling of ecstasy washed over her. She was becoming addicted. “More…” She growled, frantically searching for another fix.

This long, insect-like Hollow interested Ferus quite a bit. And the fact she had said the words 'not you' had only confirmed Ferus' guess that she had been hunting something, and he was far too curious now to pass this up. Remaining on all fours the massive, green beast followed the strange Hollow to wherever she was going, and once more he made to effort not to make much noise, although his steps were always going to be loud due to his sheer mass and size. Soon enough they were closing in on a rather shady part of town, and the Hollow was now moving as if she knew where she was going, and Ferus figured they would be getting close. A leap of his mighty legs would send him airborne and to the roof of the nearest building. Following from above he kept watchful eyes on her, and alas it appeared she had found her target.
A sonido was performed, although it gave off the appearance of an amateur usage. That, combined with her seemingly clumsy movements gave Ferus the impression that she was either a new Hollow, or a stupid one - either way, this was going to be interesting. She had apparently found the source of her restlessness, Ferus could only grin ominously as he anticipated the slaughter that was to happen. A brutal charge had taken place as she rammed into them simultaneously, the man taking almost all of the force. Although her long form concealed her actions, it was obvious to a fellow Hollow that she was eating him and devouring the soul within. From sheer reaction alone 'pon devouring the soul, Ferus had narrowed his guess towards a new Hollow. The first soul was always the best, but the curse of the Hollows were that their hungers were never satisfied for long.
As if to confirm his thoughts, she quickly twisted and took aim for the female, at this point Ferus was laughing from the rooftop to the right. His white mask reflected the dim light from the buildings, but aside from that the darkness engulfed the remainder of his body.
"More? Hungry, are we..?"
An idea sprung to life in Ferus' head, and with an immediate swipe of his arm a special technique was put to use. An invisible blade composed of sound had been launched from his hand mid-swipe, its target was the front door of the building nearest the female Hollow. The sheer noise she made whilst attacking the Humans was enough to draw their attention, and consequently a few of them were coming out to see what was going on - how unfortunate for them. The large crescent-shaped attack would literally cleave them all in half as it sliced through the building itself and emerged on the other side. Blood spewed from them as if they were fountains, a crimson mist decorated the hallways, an in just an instant they had all been killed. There were at least 5 souls for the taking, and Ferus was using this to gauge the Hollow's hunger - and maybe to be a bit helpful to a noobie.
"Go on.."
He chuckled deviously under his breath.

With a burst of invisible energy, a new portal opened. She had no idea how or why the door had shattered, and quite frankly she didnt care. Taring through the street, she entered the building, shattering the door frame as she made her way inside the building. Quickly devouring the souls of the unsuspecting humans inside, another wave of ecstasy washed over her.
A curious thing happened to the hollow when she devoured a soul. It seemed like her mind was becoming clearer; like she was gaining more control. Quite intrigued by this development, the long bodied hollow slithered out of the strip club and optics shrouded by a bone white mask fell upon another like her. Closing the distance between the two, the newly reborn hollow spoke.
"What am I!?" She shouted, mixing anger, horror, and a shread of happiness together in one blast from her mouth. No longer did a sultry alto slide from her lips. Instead, a gravely, almost guttural groan was imparted into the streets. Maylin was confused. She could barely remember life before only a few moments ago, and hoped that this strange being could give her some explanation.

The crescent wave of sound tore through the front of the building like it was nothing. The vibrations were so intense it enabled the sound to tear through beams of steel, and thus some concrete and human bodies would prove little to no trouble. The way they all split open caused Ferus to grin deviously as he displayed just how weak and pathetic they were. Despite the fact he would only eat a human if he was starving, that didn't stop him from killing them. Whether it be for his fellow Hollows to feast upon, or to bait shinigami and other powerful individuals, Ferus did so without remorse. Red tongue poked out from between rows of teeth and slid over his lips as he watched in amusement, and then in a slow motion he would step off from the roof of the building. It would be just as she finished her new meal that he would hit the ground on all fours; his large mass causing a loud vibration throughout the surrounding area. Before he knew it he was being approached, and soon after asked a question he heard often, and at one point asked himself.
"Hehe. Why, you're a Hollow."
Ferus knew she'd probably not understand what he meant, but that was up to her whether or not she wished to inquire further. In the mean time, crimson, beastly slates were be kept focused upon the caterpillar-esque monster before him. Whether she would prove to be hostile or not was yet to be seen, but he doubted such would be the case. After all, new Hollows would always pursue answers towards what they were and how they got there - well, the ones capable of thought anyhow.

Staring into the beast’s eyes, Maylin simply waited for the answer to her question. If this strange being didn’t serve any interest to her, she would simply eat him as well. Though the concept of devouring other individuals was rather new, planning the digestion of other souls was already at the top of her priority list. With a devilish grin, the other entity would answer. “Why. You’re a hollow.”
A tinge of frustration washed over her as she mulled over the explanation. The term “hollow” held no resonance with her. “You speak nonsense monster.” The cylindrical beast spat back. “Explain.” She was in no mood for games, especially in her current state. Though she was running off of the high of consumed souls, she knew she would soon descend into madness once again when her hunger immerged. She needed answers. And she needed them now.
