Aya’s possesses characteristic brown eyes that would shine and give comfort to people gazing at them. Although she is very young her eyes give an impression of an old and wise person. The young girl’s long red hair would go beyond her shoulders there they would curl at her back and end at the hips. Her round face and skin was pretty much flawless but her skin would look a little pale as she isn't fond of too much day light.
Aya had a slender body which she cares about a lot and would willingly die if she was to get any fatter. She exercises twice every day, morning and evening by a park to keep her figure and would diet as well, vegetarian every weekend. She is considered small comparing to other women in her family but stands average to the common people.
As young as herself, one would expect her to look more like a child but that would not be the case with Aya. Somehow she looks like people of her age that were human, at twenty. That would rather be strange even in the realm of souls. Aya wears the traditional shinigami uniform as tradition dictates. She always wore her uniform but instead of a white sash that bounds the uniform hers was glossy silver. Aya's Zanpakuto sheath was always oh her back over her right shoulder where she could reach with lightning reflexes to grab its hilt and release it for combat.
History:
Aya was born into the Anzu family, noble house of Soul Society. She had two older brothers and two sisters. Aya was the fifth child and therefore wasn’t very important as her siblings although she was still required to learn the ways of nobility. At the age of 5 she was separated from her family and sent to school for noble women where she learnt ways of being a noble woman and their responsibilities. At first, she cried every night for she missed her family but later on, she found friends who soon became her new family. Aya understood how important her studies were so she continued for she did not want to let anyone down but her heart desired adventure.
For ten years, she grew up at the school; her mom would visit from time to time though, learning many boring procedures. Even though she never liked the school, it was hard to leave; she would miss her friends she grew up with. When at Anzu family compound, she was happily greeted back by her mom and sisters. Soon she was integrated into the life of a noble but her heart would remain the same, she wanted adventure.
The only way for her to get some adventure and still retain the family honor was to enroll into the Shinigami Academy. At first her father would not let her but after seeing how sad she was he began to train her himself. Since Aya’s brothers were already shinigami, they would occasionally help train her.
Her father and brothers were training her hard, day after day until they deemed she was ready for the real Shinigami Academy. Two years from her personal training, Aya walked through the walls of the Academy for the first time. She was very excited and met many interesting people who almost immediately became friends. During a few years of training, she was admitted into the advanced class for exceptional students and nobility. Aya excelled mainly at speed and her other abilities were just alright. She was sent to the real world several times to get some experience against hollows and did pretty well. After six years within the academy she graduated with flying colors and was recruited into the 13th division.
As Aya graduated from the shinigami academy, she was placed in the 13th Division which specialized in micro management. She was an unseated member of the division which made her upset, she was in the advanced class at the shinigami academy who specialized in hoho and they did not give her a higher position. She was determined to show them all how useful she was by seeking battles and signing in for patrol missions. Unfortunately during her patrols, she did not meet any hollow or nothing interesting happened during them. Since her graduation, Aya trains every day at her family mansion during the moonlight to increase her skills with zanpakuto and her kido. Though she train these two skills, she would occasionally train shunpo while running in the morning.
Attending her daily duties, she meets a lot of new shinigami and old ones too although she had not caught somebody's eyes yet, not like she was trying or anything else but there were some in the academy that would love to get to know her more. Eventhough she did not gain a seat in the division, she was happy since the work assigned to her was not that difficult, at times they would be boring but it was still bearable for one reason, the captain of the 13th division. Her captain was extremely handsome and had a nice voice which showed how calm he is. Her goal was to make it to a seated officer and get closer to the captain, she would do nearly anything. Aya would also meet shinigami from other divisions as well. One of them would be the cloaked 6th division shinigami named Kirema and one of the 11th division member named Hiroko

Sealed form
In its sealed form, Yoruhoshi looks just like any other katana but it is longer then normal. The zanpakuto's overall length is about 1.4 meters long and therefore has to be worn at Aya's back. The sheath is black with silver ornaments across the surface. It's black hilt is silver glossy for the rayskin is silver-spangled. The hilt can be held with two hands simultaneously if needed. The bottom of the hilt is also silver containing a five edge star engraved on it. When opened, the bottom of the hilt, a silver wire of 15 cm comes out. The wire can be used to strangle or attack an enemy but can't stretch. Yuruhosi's guard is formed into a five edge star like on the hilt bottom and is silver coated. The blade is thin and shines as it is also silver coated.
Released form
When Aya releases Yoruhoshi (Picture) with it's command "Sora no ue de kagayakimasu soshite raito o misete (Shine upon the sky and show me the light)" silver light begins to shine in every direction until it fdeviouses two times. Instead of one sword, there are two identical that look lightly different then the sealed version now. Both swords become a bit shorter, 1.2 m now. The sword's hilt curves a bit and the silver wire can be extended up to 50 cm max.
Manifestation:
Since Aya has a dual Zanpakuto it naturally has two manifestations. Both of her manifestations are girls, one with silver hair and the other with golden hair. The silver hair girl always looks happy, she smiles a lot but the golden hair girl looks so sad.
The silver hair girl looks as young as Aya herself, she is confident and wears extravagant clothes all the time. Her face and skin is pale but flawless, her eyes are blue and clear as the water in Aya’s inner world. The girl’s body is very much similar to her master’s which made them pretty much alike. When she speaks, her pure voice would sound childish and her comments are a bit silly sometimes.
The golden hair girl looks a few years older than Aya and the silver hair girl. Her short hair, up to the shoulders, shines when hit by the moonlight from the inner world. The girl’s face is as pale as of snow and there were no marks of any impurity or scars within her skin. She looks very athletic and is much taller than Aya, 175 cm. Her voice is feminine and sounds mystic and wise at the same time.
Inner World:
Aya's inner world is nice scenery to behold. It is always dark in this word and is lit by two moons, one bigger than the other. Standing on a near side one could see a simple lake with clear water and a few ducks floating on the surface. When looking at the water surface, one would see the marvelous reflection of both silver moons. To add a little mystic to the scenery, the whole world is covered in a light mist making anyone stunned at the beauty. Of course there are a few trees around the lake and one could hear the sound of leafs cdeviousing into each other as the wind blows mildly. There would be a narrow road leading somewhere far off to the mountains that surrounds the entire area. Along the road, would stand a single bench facing the lake with a lamp post at its right side. Even without the lamp post, the moons were enough to lighten up the area. There are two figures sitting next to each other on the bench holding hands. Both are Aya's manifestations.
