"Kyahh..." Yuri stretched as she took a walk in the Karakura River park. She had only woken up less than an hour ago. The morning air, crisp as always. Yuri couldn't help but fall in love with Karakura town over and over again. It was her home. She was born here and as such she had an emotional attachment to the town. As well, the town had been friendly and nice with her despite her lack of a friends in the town. But life was still good.
Dressed in a Orange T-shirt and with a pair of black-colored track pants on, on her right hand, a towel used to wipe of her sweat. Yuri was taking a morning jog in the town. It wasn't exactly a routine. She probably only comes out to take a jog once or twice a week purely for the sake of enjoying the early morning breeze. What better reason than to break out a good sweat in the town's park?
Looking around, there were quite a lot of people around today. There were a few seniors having a casual chat with one another on the park benches and kids playing at the playground. Hmmm, but wait, they were spirits. Though with such humane appearances, they are no longer human and the chains attached to their body is proof of that. However they seemed friendly enough. Yuri had never worried about spirits around her after all. She could see them ever since she was young. Seeing spirits was probably as common as looking at another human on the public bus!
"Ohayo Ariyama San!" Yuri said as she waved to one of the frequent spirits of the park. An old man who died in Karakura town a few years ago and had been roaming the park ever since. Yuri had some chats with him before. A nice old man. Too bad age caught up with him. Nevertheless, time waits for no one. It was his time.
Wiping of the last beads of sweat from her forehead, Yuri decided to buy herself a can of isotonic drink at the vending machine a few meters ahead. Digging in her back pocket for coins, almost suddenly, a large tremor was felt up ahead. Along with that, a roar could be heard. Like from that of a wild animal and it seemed to come from only a distance away.
Yuri could hear the screams of the spirits as they ran away from the certain direction the sound cam from. However, the other humans had no idea what was happening and were continuing their daily activities. Rushing forward, it was a monster. It had a mask on it's face and it was almost about to attack a human whom was unaware of it's presence. A hollow!
Yuri had fought one or two of them once when she was still in the temple. However it seemed that the elders were unable to assist her now. Nevertheless, she didn't need any help. Running forward, Yuri leaped forward pushing the human out of the way. Now, she was the center of attention towards the hollow. She would have no choice but to defeat it now. [/blockquote]

“Graaaaaah,” The Hollow let out a tumultuous roar, denied it's prey. It turned towards her, bringing it's mask to face her. Malevolent gray optics peered through narrow slits in the otherwise unremarkable mask that seemed reminiscent of a human skull. The teeth, though, looked as sharp as razors. It's body was long and serpentine, with a thin chest with a gaping hole in it. It's limbs were lithe and ended in three curving claws. It faced the girl, it's mouth opening in a wide-snarl. No mere mortal could deny it the fulfillment of the hunger that plagued it so.
It let out another screech as it faced her, the claws on the end of it's supine limbs curling and uncurling with unrestrained agitation. It longed to rend the flesh from her bones. It longed to tear her apart, body and soul, and consume the remains. Only then could it break free of the endless cycles that pursued it. It snarled and leaped towards her, claws extending in a flash. The distance between the two of them would cover quickly as the thick mass of dark, chaotic reiatsu hurled itself towards the girl.
It would try to rake her with a cleaving strike, it's claws flying down from above the tear her apart. The claws were fast, but the nothing that an alert person couldn't avoid. The hollow was on a rampage, devoid of strategy or concern. It would follow the first attempt to strike with another, claws screaming down at her in a scything attack from above. The beast was hungry, and only flesh could slake that appetite...

"Agghhhh" Yuri landed onto the grassy pavement of the park as she leaped towards her left in an attempt to avoid the hollow's attack. It lunged it's claws, raising it so high that it rose way above Yuri's height. In that same instant, it drew it's claws in a downwards motion attempting to cleave Yuri. Being hit by one of those attacks may prove to be dangerous to someone as fragile as Yuri. Afterall regardless of whatever powers she had, it wouldn't save her from a deathly blow.
Recovering from her attempt to escape the claws, it seemed to have missed Yuri completely though she couldn't really say the same for the graze on her right knee. The maneuver she executed earlier caused her to scrape her knees on one of the pebbles from the park's pond as it caused a little wound causing some blood to ooze from the wound.
Ignoring the wound, She got up and faced the hollow. She probably wouldn't stand a chance against the hollow if she was to face up against it with brute force. She was trained in martial arts however it had never trained her to go up against such a large opponent. Being small compared to the beast, she wouldn't stand a chance even if she used martial arts against it. She had to think fast.
Her powers. Yuri was an advent whom possesed strange spiritual powers. Yuri had only used it twice or thrice in her entire lifetime. It was probably worth giving it a go now. If not she would prbably be roaming around the park like those spirits with chains attached to their bodies. Standing up, Yuri faced the hollow as she tilted her head to face the hollow's she required eye contact with the hollow for her abilities to work. If it actually worked, she would probably be in another dimension by the time she blinked again.
OOC: My Advent ability depends on the victim's history. So since the hollow is a NPC you could either describe a little about it's history if you don't mind. Perhaps speak of flashbacks and whatnot. Thanks. [/blockquote]

The hollow looked down at the human and was ready to strike at her once again. Getting angry at the little pathetic human girl for denying its hunger, wanting nothing more than to tear her apart with its claws and eat her soul. The hollow’s claws were almost flitching to attack again. The hollow prepared itself to strike again. In the back of its mind, that is still faintly lingering. Was it past life it once it once lived, the life of a woman?
The hollow was once a woman at the age of 24 years old, who once was a teacher of kindergarteners. She deeply cared about her students and about their future, and their well being. Her students used to look up to her and deeply admire her. However, there was gardener who worked for the school, but he had a record on him. So to avoid trouble, he kept his distance from all of the students as much as possible.
However, she believed despite his record, he was a good man who was once lost and was now on the right path. She trusted him with her life as much as he trusted her. One day, tragic of fate showed its ugly head. A bear from the near forest of the school appeared before the kindergartners. She ran to the bear to distract it from the kids and told them to run to safety. The children did at first. The gardener was not too far off and saw this happening all at once.
He grabbed his rifle and kept himself hidden to get a good look at the bear. The former teacher hollow saw him and tried to make sure he would get a good shot at the bear. However, unknown to the teacher and the gardener, the students came back. Barely able to carry the rifle they came back to protect their beloved teacher.
To these small children, they didn’t know about the gardener, who was about to shoot the bear. Too unknown to the former teacher, the students shot first at the bear. They had missed and hit her instead. Right into her chest is where her hollow hole is now. As she fell down to her death she looked up at the gardener, believing he was the one who shot her. Unknown to the real truth that it was her own students who shot her instead by trying to protect her.
In death, chained to the school with no soul reaper ever came to free her from her pain. She evidently turned into the currently now hollow, ready to kill the human in front of her and eat her soul.
