Chapter 1: Reverie of Treachery

The Aizen you knew never existed to begin with.

What happen to you after you die? For many the answer for such a question remains a mystery. For residents of the Soul Society death is merely the beginning of an awesome journey. Such a journey has led many to the ranks of the Gotei 13, an organization dedicated to defending the living and departed souls from the corrupt hollows. However not all of the Gotei's many shinigami wish to uphold this tradition. One Sosuke Aizen looks to change the course of history for all worlds in his twisted image. He works in the shadows waiting for the right moment to strike. Meanwhile a young boy by the name of Ichigo Kurosaki has discovered the power of the shinigami thanks to Rukia Kuchiki. Fate continues to conspire as Aizen plots his bloody insurrection as Ichigo grows into his powers.. All the while a band of exiles are slowly stepping into the light as hollow tainted souls dubbed Arrancar come to ravage Karkura Town. On Skulls & Swords Aizen's illusion has been cast but his betrayal is yet to be seen. Now its up to you to choose the course of action for the forces of Good and Evil.

Prologue: A New Beginning

A new generation of Shinigami have graduated the Academy in hopes of becoming more than the low level subordinates they have recently become.Newly appointed Captains and Lieutenants take up the mantles of their predecessors and hope to lead the next generation into greatness.Shinigami and Quincy work hand in hand in order to achieve their common goal; the eradication of Hollows and the protection of the humans that inhabit the world of the living. However more humans are joining in on the fight as well with more battles taking place in the human world. Meanwhile in Hueco mundo, hollows seek to increase their strength by feeding on the souls of one another in hopes of becoming one the ten Espada, the mighty guards of the Arrancar King that resides in Los Noches. With the coming of the next generation of souls comes a new tale that awaits to be told.However the pages of history have yet to be inked. Is your pen mighty enough to inscribe the pages of history?
