Memories of the previous night still lingered freshly in her mind. A bitter taste upon the tongue; the foul residue of compromising with a death god yet to free her of its bitter after-effects. Yet, it was possible that she was dwelling on it much too deeply. After all, today was a new day, and the Shinigami seemed to be absent for the time being. Perhaps that detail had something to do with the fact that it was late in the afternoon. The sun was high, and multiple people simple brushed right past her large frame. The Hollow found an odd bit of humor in these situations, as well as the vast number of mortals that were completely oblivious to her existence.
Occasionally, a head would turn, staring at her otherworldly figure. However, when another turned to see what one found so captivating, their vision would see naught but empty space. She chuckled to herself, simply staring right back. Once the human had decided they were crazy and ran off, her vision would return to where it had once been. For some reason, the beast felt… passive. She had fed earlier, and thus, no pain was felt within the Vacuo’s gut. It was a temporary relief, and Neva knew that within a very short time frame, she’d once more need to hunt. Lifeless eyes stared out into the stream, where a reflection should have been, but only a koi fish or two was seen through the waters surface.
The bridge creaked under her weight, yet it somehow went unnoticed. Should she decide to break it, what would the results be…?

"Gotcha.
The haunting glow of the Reibuki would be cast about his hand, Reiatsu coming together to create a bow in his left hand. Hands held steady as he peered through the brush, he brought his right hand to the bow with two curled fingers. His eyes narrowed upon the target, its form sitting near-lifelessly upon the bridge. The light cast upon the earth would strike the Hollow, illuminating it as the Reiatsu gathered once more. Between his fingers he would find the very end of an arrow, also glowing with an ethereal blue as he knocked it upon the string.
Slowly drawing back the string, he would exhale as he waited for a few pedestrians to pass. In fact, he was surprised so many had been unharmed at this point. What was the Hollow waiting for that it did not feast upon their souls? Well, it was indeed better that it stayed upon the bridge, leaving the humans around it untouched. A shame that it would have to find the arrow planted within its head. So, with a final breath, he let loose the arrow, soaring through the crowds to make its way to the Hollow.

Serenity broken so soon? A shame; if she'd been a more kind hearted creature, she almost would have said she was enjoying the peace the river provided her with. A powerful reiatsu pulsated somewhere near, though not in a place her eyes - or at least, their sockets - could see. Thus, the reptillian skull panned left, then right, even tilting back slightly to peer into the trees above. if it wasn't in front, then that really left only one area of possible attack.
The spiritual energy she felt was not of the shinigami caliber. Perhaps this was simply the approach of another gifted human? Excellent. She did so love it when her food came delivered hot and fresh. But if that were the case... why did it remain stationary? Stationary for a few brief moments, that is. A sudden burst of the Reiatsu spontaneously made her extremely concerned for her well being. With powerful legs, Neva sprang to her right, the weight of her landing causing the bridge to tremble. Some kind of offensive item whistled through the air, vanishing from her vision almost as soon as it had entered it.
Quickly, her head turned to look towards the shrubbery behind her. The source of the energy had yet to move, which made pinpointing the location that much easier. "Do you have a deathwish child?" the split-tone vibrated fiercely. "Shoot again and I'll gladly fullfill it."

The Reibuki would fly by the Hollow, a small trail of Reiatsu trailing behind as the arrow whizzed by its target. Standing up from his position as he glared unto the creature, his left hand would merely raise his bow as the Hollow spoke to him. Its words were otherwise ignored, for he cared not what it had to say on the matter. The facts were that it was an abomination, and as such it had to be destroyed. Hazel optics would peer through the crystal glass as he twisted the bow to lay parallel to the earth.
"There is no need for your kind to haunt this town."
His words were calm as his right hand came to the front of the bow, three beaming streaks of Reiatsu coming to form between four of his fingers. His thumb would hold steady onto the end of each arrow, the string slowly drawn back as he narrowed his eyes onto the target. The middle arrow would find its way in the Hollow's chest should it remain stationary, whilst the other two would find themselves at the same height but fifteen feet apart from the middle arrow.
Letting a single breath loose as he released the arrows, he would utter a single word as he watched the arrows fly through the air. The haunting streaks of Reiatsu would linger for but a moment, clearing for the Quincey to witness the effects of his weaponry.
"Die."
