Appearing as a twenty year old woman, Sonalla has long blonde hair that she allows to fall freely from her head. Generally very voluminous, the hair falls pat the shoulders, almost down to her breasts. Her eyes are a golden yellow in color, giving her a unique appearance, startling those who glance into those eyes. Because of this, she can often be seen wearing sunglasses, unless it is too dark to wear them.
When in Soul Society, or on official Shinigami business, she is garbed in the traditional Shihakushō. The garment is modified slightly by the addition of a white ribbon, tied into a bow, which is usually worn on her left arm, centered between the elbow and the shoulder. Her zanpakutou, which is shaped as a regular wakizashi, has a red grip, with black leather twined around the edges, and usually rests within a black sheathe that is worn on the right hip. She is also left-handed.
She is fairly dainty in appearance, for her short size and somewhat plump, although not fat, body, gives off a general visage of pleasantness. She has a killer smile, with perfectly aligned and pristine white teeth. Her lips, with just a hint of color applied, are of a rose red, and her cheeks have usually just a dab of blush upon them, in combination with her often demure and shy attitude, gives her a constantly embarrassed look.
When not in Soul Society and not on official business, she generally enjoys to take trips to the real world in order to go shopping with her gigai. She absolutely adores hunting down the latest fashions and spending her paychecks there as quickly as she gets them. She prefers a sophisticated look, instead of that of the tramps that most commonly run about, and her favorite color for clothing is red, like her katana.
History: Sonalla was born as a human in the real world; back then, she had the name Mitsugi Hana, and was considered to be a wonderful person. She was an excellent student and was of a greater intellect than most people. She graduated from High School two years prior to when she should have, based upon her age, and was quickly accepted into a collegiate level.
After she graduated from college, her parents threw her a surprise party. She and her parents had always been poor, and as such, they had never been capable of affording luxury food, and had only bought what they could to survive. However, her parents, proud of Hana's accomplishments, went all out, and purchased a great number of delicious and expensive food items.
It was then that Hana would discover a very unfortunate, yet severe, allergy to shrimp. As she ate, the food did its' worst, poisoning her and killing her before she could obtain medical treatment. Her parents, heartbroken, held her hand as she died, as she whispered, "Thank you, and I'm sorry I couldn't make you more proud of me."
Knowing that she had lived a good life, but worried about whether or not her parents would be able to survive her, her soul remained upon earth, chained to the home of the parents, where she watched them mourn her life for months. It was then that she was discovered by a Shinigami, who performed the Soul Burial upon her, and sent her to Soul Society.
Upon entering Soul Society, the young woman couldn't remember who or what she was. So, she wandered around Rukongai for years, discovering that she needed to eat, unlike most other souls; as such, she would perform bits of work for food so that her soul wouldn't fade away and die. She was noted to be exceptionally skilled at problems of the mind, and as such, she became an unofficial juror for the Eleventh district of Rukongai.
It was within this spotlight that she was discovered by a Shinigami, who noted her need to eat and her strong spiritual presence. This Shinigami would direct her towards Seireitei, telling her that she should apply there to try and become a Shinigami. Saying goodbye to the district of Rukongai that had for a long time been her home now, she would move towards the Shinigami school, where she applied and was given entrance.
With her scores as high as they were, she was allowed into the Advanced Class, giving her the capability of being a very skilled warrior. When there, it was discovered that her incredibly studious nature had definitely carried over to the world of the dead, and her abilities of the mind and strong spiritual nature made her incredibly adept at Kido. In the classes, she was seen as a Goddess of magic, and as such, she was quickly accepted into the Fifth Division.
She has since remained there, carrying out her duties as a Shinigami and doing what she needs to do.

Zanpakutou
Appearance: Ringonenshou in its' natural form takes upon the look of a normal wakizashi and has a blade that is about 22 inches in length, making it fit into the category of the larger wakizashi types. The blade itself is fairly slender, and features only a singular edge to the blade. Like most wakizashi, the blade is also curved, giving it increased capability against the straight-edged blades of foreigners. Ringonenshou features a black, circular guard placed between the hilt and the blade. The hilt of the sword is red, with a black ribbon tied in a crisscross manner, that both enhances the look and gives Sonalla a better grip of the sword. It rests within a black sheathe that vanishes as the sword is withdrawn, and re-appears whenever it is ready to be sheathed again.
When released, Ringonenshou doesn't undergo any dramatic change in appearance. Instead, the blade simply grows about two inches longer, transitioning from a wakizashi into the length of a katana. The blade's natural silver coloring also shifts slightly, becoming tinted with a dark red color that doesn't dominate the appearance, but only enhances. The color of the guard also changes to match the tint of the blade.
Manifestation: The manifestation of the sword's spirit is actually a crimson tiger composed entirely of flame. Ringonenshou is actually a very demanding individual, much unlike Sonalla, who is very shy and demure. He demands that she make her presence more known, for as a strong flame-type zanpakutou, Ringonenshou craves and desires attention. If Sonalla forgoes conversation with Ringonenshou for even a day, he'll often play awful tricks upon her. He is a very unruly individual, and absolutely detests being left alone.
Inner World: Ringonenshou's Inner World is a bit strange. The Inner World often looks exactly like Sonalla's current position, whether she be inside of a building, or outside. However, everything is tinted crimson in color, and all appears to be in flame. The flames do not generally burn Sonalla, but they are still hot; it is only Sonalla's ownership of the sword that gives her protection against the heat of her own sword's flames. It is within this Inner World that Sonalla trains and practices her own adeptness at manipulating the flames created by Ringonenshou's attacks, so that she grows stronger and obtains a better understanding of these situations.
Release Phrase: "Kai sono kaori no atsuimi, Ringonenshou." - "Release the scent of the warm fruit, Burning Apple."

Description: The user gathers a tiny amount of reiatsu to the fingertip of their dominant index finger, extending it outward along with the middle finger. The other fingers are folded into the palm. The user then lays the palm of their off hand face-down on the wrist of the dominant hand. The fingertip will swell with blue-white energy before exploding forward in a narrow, piercing beam of white lightning-like reiatsu, capable of punching holes through opponents.
Incantation: White chariot! Blue soldiers, rustled leaves, thirteen black clouds, unleash the sky! Hado no Yon: Byakurai!

Description: The user extends their hand, and begins the chant for the technique. As the user chants the incantation, a large amount of wind quickly swirls around the user's hand, forming a square shape around the user's hand. As the incantation finishes, a blue light completely envelops the user's hand, and the square formation around the hand will then rapidly extend outwards. With gale-force winds being released in a straight line around the size of a square meter from the square formation around the user's hand, the caster will attempt to strike the opponent with the wind force to deal crushing damage to them.
Incantation: Storm, powerful, demanding; gather in heaven and descend upon us mortals. Rear your head, and unleash your wrath! Hado no Nana: Kosharashi!

Description: The user gathers reiatsu into the palm of their dominant hand, extending their palm forward. The user then places their off hand on their wrist, wrapping their fingers around it. They then gather the reiatsu into a ball of energy floating in front of the palm. The user then releases the ball of red energy forward like a cannon-ball. It will explode on contact with anything, much like a grenade or rocket.
Incantation: Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado no Sanjuuichi: Shakkahō!

Description: The user gathers reiatsu into their fingertips, extending the palm of their dominant hand forward with the middle and index finger pointing straight up. The user then jabs the middle and index fingers of the dominant hand in between the ‘v’ made by the off-hand’s fingers. Reiatsu will flow into the earth, splitting apart a chasm five meters wide in the earth that extends towards the opponent with great speed. It slams back together if something falls within it, but otherwise remains as a hazard.
Incantation: Ye fallow kings of earth, salted ground, unleash the light into the shattered glass! Twenty-nine blades of grass, forty-three cicadas, meld and become like the stone, ever patient, then crumble like sand! Break apart the fury of the mountains! Hado no Sanjuuhachi: Daitanima!

Description: Condensing the user's reiatsu in front of them, they create a small golden-colored shield of energy. The technique's defensive capability is, unfortunately, highly limited, and even the most powerful of casters will find the ability only capable of blocking Kidō of the first Category. However, a secondary ability exists within the spell as well: opponents why physically strike the shield will be knocked backwards, sending them flying a few feet. It also paralyzes the limb that struck it for one turn.

Other Kido Abilities
- Chiyute - Although not a member of the Fourth Division, Sonalla is capable of utilizing Chiyute. Although certainly not as skilled as the members of the Fourth Division, she is capable of treating most minor, and even some moderate, wounds, although things beyond cuts and other flesh wounds are beyond her capabilities of healing.
