Appearance: Kenji has slightly tan skin and dark brown hair. Kenji's hair goes is very thin and goes down to his ears. Kenji has more of a skinnier build so his face is thin. He always looks like he has a frown on his face if he isn't smiling. He has purple eyes with with white rings around the pupils. Kenji has a lanky body and very long arms. He wears the regular shinigami robe that everybody else wears. Instead of wearing his Zanpackto on the side of his hip he wears it horizontally across his lower back. Kenji wears a black patch over his left eye socket.
History: Kenji was born January 28, 1990 in Chicago Illinois. Kenji was in the ghetto of Chicago turning him into trouble making kid. Kenji grew up with 4 siblings that were all older than him. He had 3 brothers and 1 sister his sister was the oldest being 7 years older than him. Since he was the youngest of all the siblings they always treated him like a baby. Kenji hated this and always tried to prove himself to them. Kenji's parents rose him to believe that if he worked hard enough he could do anything. Kenji life was boring until he was 8 and he found his first love.Running.
Kenji loved to run and he was always the fastest too. When Kenji went to school and he went to recess all he would do is race his friends or just run around the playground. When Kenji was 13 he joined the schools track team. His dad always telling him that he join a mans sport like football or basketball. Kenji never listened to his dad about this he just kept running. Kenji smashed most of his schools track records in 7th grade so he decided that he would join track again in 8th grade. When Kenji got into high school he wanted to join track. His mom didn't have the money to pay for him to get into track because she had to help pay for kenji's older sister's college.
Kenji was outraged that he couldn't join track in high schools. He knew he could get a college scholarship if he ran track. Kenji overheard his mom talking one night and heard that she would have to stop paying for his sisters college because she was running out of money. After hearing this Kenji decided he should go for a jog. As he was passing an alley way he heard somebodies voice tell him to come here. Kenji walked into the alley and saw a middle aged man. He told Kenji that he had saw him run before and knew he was fast. He explained to Kenji that he was a part of a league of gambling on runners.
He said that a group of guys got together and raced each other while other people bet on them. Kenji knew that gambling was bad but he loved his older sister and wanted her to get an education. The man told Kenji that they were meeting on Friday night at 10:00 P.M. . Kenji told the man he would be there and ran all the way home. When Friday came Kenji went to the meeting place and saw a group of guys stretching. The guy Kenji had saw before walked up to him and told him that he had registered Kenji for the race. Kenji knew he would pull in lots of money because since he was a newbie nobody would bet on him.
Kenji saw where the race started and ended he estimated that it was a 200 meter race. Kenji knew he was going to dust the competition he was very cocky. He lined up for the race he had much adrenaline pumping through his veins. GO! Kenji shot off and bolted down the street as fast as possible. Kenji passed the line way before every one and won the race. Kenji went and collected his money with the man he had met before. The man told Kenji that they were meeting next week. Kenji agreed to going and begin to walk home. He was so happy that he had won he had got about 500 dollars.
As Kenji walked home he heard somebody yell something so he looked behind him and saw a group of 3 guys. They must of been some guys from the races. They must have been following so they could get the money from him as he was walking. Kenji began to run.BOOM! Kenji felt a sharp pain in his legs and saw blood start to pour from his leg. He fell to the ground in pain he couldn't run with this much pain. The gangsters caught up to him and demanded the money. Kenji refused to give them the money that he had earned. One of the gangsters pulled out a pistol and put it up to Kenji's left eye. Kenji still refused to give up the money so the gangster shot.
Kenji felt his spirit leave his body as his life slipped away. Everything went black then Kenji saw himself on the same street but instead he saw his body lying on the floor and a group on men running in the distance. All of a sudden he saw a person in a black robe come to him and tell him he was going to leave this world. Kenji blacked out and couldn't remember anything as he found himself in a mysterious world. Kenji slowly grew accustomed to living in the spirit world. He still loved to run and doubled his speed when he died and began to live in the spirit world. The only thing Kenji hated about living in the spirit world is that he had to where a black patch over his left eye so no one could see that there was no eye there.
One day a Shinigami came into town and saw Kenji races some of his friends. The shinigami was impressed by how fast Kenji was and he knew the only reason why he was so fast was because how much reiatsu Kenji had. The shinigami took Kenji back to the soul society so he could enroll in the academy. Kenji slowly advanced in classes until he was finally placed in the 7th squad.

Appearance: When Kuroraikou isn't released its very long and slender. Its a katana that is 5 feet long and only 2 inches wide. The metal is a smoky gray color.The sheath is a golden color that shines. when Kuroraikou is in shikia its grows shorter and gets jagged. The blade shortens down to 4 feet long and varies in with because of the jagged shape. The blade changes colors and becomes a shiny gold color.
Manifestation: Kuroraikou's manifestation is an old African American man dressed in nice clothes. The man has a nice white suit on and a white hat on. He always carries around a cane even though he doesn't need it. Kuroraikou is very impatient person that leaves no room for error. He has a good sense of humor but has an open mind. He's not afraid to speak his mind if he doesn't like something he will say. Kuroraikou is very tall standing 6 foot 7 but he is not skinny nor fat he has an average build.
Inner World: Kuroraikou's inner world is a giant forest with trees stretching forever. The forest has a giant river that runs through it. The forest is filled with wildlife and mysterious noises. All the trees in the forest are humongous and have lots of green leafs on them. The sun is always shining and the sky is clear and blue with a little breeze. There are little hills in the forest and some stone caves. At one point where the river starts there is a giant waterfall.

Abilities:
(5)Kuroraikou first ability in shikai allows user of the sword to be able to create and control lightning. The user can manipulate the shape of the lightning making a ball of lightning or a triangle. The user could create a steady stream of lightning or something more complex like a raven. Making more complex shapes or creating large amount of lightning takes lots of reiatsu.
(10) Kuroraikou's second ability in shikai lets the user channel electric energy into the sword. When the electric energy is in the sword if it makes contact with a limb it paralyzes it for 2 turns. If this technique is used more than 5 times in a fight the users hands become numb and useless.
(15) Kuroraikou's third ability in shikai allows the user of the sword to create black lightning. When black lightning makes contact with something it will create a medium sized explosion. Black lightning also moves at much faster speeds than regular lightning. When black lightning is created the user can't make complex shapes out of it only basic. Making and controlling black lightning for to long will burn the users hands severely. To be able to create black lightning the user must make a line of their blood across the sword

Description: The user gathers reiatsu into the palm of their dominant hand, extending their palm forward. The user then places their off hand on their wrist, wrapping their fingers around it. They then gather the reiatsu into a ball of energy floating in front of the palm. The user then releases the ball of red energy forward like a cannon-ball. It will explode on contact with anything, much like a grenade or rocket.
Incantation: Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado no Sanjuuichi: Shakkahō!
