Appearance: Sogara Sousuke is a small, scrappy individual. He stands at about five foot six inches, weighing in at around one hundred and twenty-five pounds. He is a fairly fit youth, due to a tendency to get into minor altercations at school. He has short, messy black hair that hangs about his head with no real sense of being under control in any way. It falls short of his eyes, which are a deep violet color. His features are smooth and slight, and rarely display any emotion. Sousuke wears a pair of dark gray jeans that fit to his form fairly well on most days. Casual running sneakers cover his feet. He wears a simple white undershirt on his upper body, overlaid with a simple collared black jacket that he keeps unzipped.
Advent Affinity: Hollow.
Power Focus: El Brazo Izquierdo De La Muerte (The Left Arm Of The Death) – The Left Arm of the Death is the manifestation of Sousuke’s Advent Powers, focused through his left arm. When his left arm is transformed, all traces of clothing vanish off of it. The skin turns completely pitch-black, including the fingernails and palms. The arm becomes highly defined and fit, but does not bulk up with musculature; rather, it remains sleek and smooth. The fingers at the end of the hand now taper into sharpened black claws. A black, horn-like flange projects from the elbow, facing backwards and sweeping up parallel to the bicep when the arm is held straight. Another black horn-like flange is found at the junction of the shoulder and neck, pointing away from the neck as a sort of a guard. A third flange projects from the outer shoulder. This arm is made of resilient natural armor and reiatsu, and is useful in catching strikes that would normally harm Sousuke.
Advent Human Power:

• El Término (The End)
  Level: High
  Description: The End is the primary manifestation of Sousuke’s Hollow-like reiatsu. El Término allows Sousuke to gather reiatsu around the clawed fingers of his focus, creating tiny claw extensions that are about an inch away from his fingers. These extensions are incredibly sharp and can pierce through almost any material excessively easily. The only drawback is that the claws will fade if his concentration is jarred strongly enough. Not so much by injury, but by mental assault. Sousuke can initiate this ability once per two ranks as an Advent Non-Specialist, once per rank as an Advent Specialist, and twice per rank as an Advent Master, counting Rank 0 as a Rank.
  Restrictions: Must possess the Brazo Izquierdo De La Muerte, Sousuke’s unique focus.
  
  
• La Marca (The Mark)
  Level: Average
  Description: La Marca is a unique and rather bizarre binding ability Sousuke has developed. It allows him to channel reiatsu through the claws of his focus, which he then spreads out before him. He will then attempt to come into physical contact with his foe. It doesn't matter where or how brief the contact is; the mark of the Reaper, a skull with a scythe underneath instead of crossbones, will be burned into their flesh. What Sousuke describes as 'the weight of death' will immediately begin to bear down on the foe. It is in fact a mass of blackened reiatsu, invisible to the naked eye, but clearly stylized to appear as a sort of image of a Reaper holding the person back in the eyes of those who could perceive it. The reiatsu weighs down on their limbs for about three rounds, forcing them to move as though they bore a weight equal to their own body weight. Sousuke can use this ability once per two ranks as an Advent Non-Specialist, once per rank as an Advent Specialist, and twice per rank as an Advent Master, counting Rank 0 as a Rank.

History: Soraga Sousuke was born into a quiet family in Karakura Town, being the younger of two children to a pair of biomedical scientists living in town. His family has always been a group of outwardly calm and collected people, despite a sort of interior insanity that’s common of families in Karakura Town. Protected by his sister and encouraged by his family, Sousuke was growing into a talented youth with what looked like he was going to have a bright future as a specialty mechanic. This, however, came before he encountered the World of Death. One dark night, on his way back from school after staying after, Sousuke was the target of a deadly beast that went by the name of Hollow. Sousuke possessed a faint inkling of spiritual power, enough to be able to faintly see the Hollow that was attacking him. Pursued by a spider-like beast he fled, seeking to avoid obliteration. The Hollow, however, was faster. It was only then that Sousuke realized that his sister, Soraga Izumi, was a Shinigami. A substitute Shinigami, actually, and had been for only a few months. As she saved him from the Hollow, it started a new chapter in his life, even it prodded the power within him to life, bringing about a second warrior in the family. It seemed that not all was as it seemed in the Soraga family… But what more would they find?

Specialist: Skilled in the use of Advent Powers and reiatsu, has the advantage against Non-Specialists and the disadvantage vs Masters. Starts with two Advent Powers.

El Término actually seems more like two abilities to me. I think that the focus and maintainence involved in keeping the claws active until you so desire to cause them to release the blast is more like two separate abilities. One ability is the creation of the super-sharp claws; the other is the blast. Maybe as an Advent Improvement, you could create the blasts after, but as a start, I think I'd prefer it if you didn't have those two powers inside of one skill. Neh?

I'm also very iffy on El Miedo. As a starting ability, you can completely nullify every other person's attack on the site; it can also be abused to diffuse opponent's speeds, which would nullify any speed advantage that an opponent had over your character. I feel like it is much too powerful, especially for a starting power. To be honest, I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing a power like this until the character was above the rank of 10. =/
