T'was another bland day. Air was as still as a body after rigamortis, frozen dead in place. The Fledgling shinigami would roam about, his ebony garb marred by flakes of dust, its beauty now spoiled on a marginal scale. Eyes of raven to peer all about, ears honing in on the sprinting of the myriad of Shinigami which existed, their purpose for being around most likely different than his; he was patrolling about the silent corridor like paths of the Seireitei.
With dull orbs darting in haste in order to allocate his plethora of superiors would a half-assed smile etch itself upon his lip. Those who rested idle on the numerical seats were his superiors, all of them. With a sigh would he lunge himself back-wards, his backside slamming rather roughly against one of the many durable walls located all about, all in mirror image to each other. He would slowly descend from his standing position, his bum meeting the paved path painlessly. Tilting his head back would he shut his eyes, a morose breath to follow swiftly after as its exhalation traveled at slug-like pace.
Today was going to be a long, long day. The purpose to numerically represent hours would wane, most likely [/font]

Today was yet another boring day and her shift hasn't even begun yet. Who knows what they will assign her this time, she hoped it would be some adventure to the real world or something to prove her worth at last and gain a seat. The sun was high on the sky and it's heat was spreading all over Soul Society. Aya hated the sunlight, she preferred quiet night or at least some shade. Walking from her family's mansion towards the barracks she had to go through many entertainment districts before finally arriving.
The heat was really killing her, her lips got dry making her look horrible. Aya wet her lips with a bit of her saliva and was looking around for shade while not paying attention on the road. "Ahh shade over there." she thought beginning to pick up a little speed. Aya was suddenly startled as she bumped on something or rather someone. Almost immediately would she fall on her back where she would stay for a while trying to regain breath. "What the..."

At the very least he was relaxed. With lids of olive flesh veiling his richly inked orbs would he breath silently, thoughts swarming in his mind, words and images moving around at paces faster than bees in their own hives, conjugating together, a plethora of both thoughts and words. As relaxation fell upon his body like waters would the virgin morn was he violently awaken, nearly jumping from where he stood as he swiftly through himself to the left in hopes to avoid and counter. As eyes lit with excitement would the vigorous roar harbored within them die as an annoyed glare darkened their hues.
"Geeze, lady. . ."
He'd spit rather audible words out, his heart rate drastically slowing down now, pulling a musical ritardando as it would steadily descend from the raised rate which this girl rose it to. "S'kinda boring today, don't ya think?" A flange extremity would ascend slowly toward his folics, running through slowly as he'd take a deep breath. There hadn't been much to say really, a boring day always seemed to cast spell which siphoned life from all.
Eyes would slowly crawl upon the girl, scanning all with mundane optics. She had been a shinigami just as himself, but her presence had be unknown to him, let alone her existence in this over populated kingdom. Her locks of scarlet is what caught his attention, never in his life had he seen such a deep read, twas a tantalizing sight.

"Geeze, lady. . ." said the person who she bumped into. Aya would look up at the man and what a surprise, he was a shinigami just like herself. They an or rather a boy, she did not know wore a shinigami garb. Quickly getting on her feet she would look at him closer, he looked very young though in Soul Society one never truly knows. Aya cleaned the dirt on her hair and fixed it back, her shinigami robe was also a bit dirty but within seconds it did not matter anymore.
"S'kinda boring today, don't ya think?". Why is it that when she is bored she finds someone that is in the same state, could be coincidence. Also why are all the shinigami bored these days? Geez they could use some action from time to time. Come to think of it, she noticed the shinigami had a strange accent, was he born in the real world as well as most of her colleagues at the 13th division? "Boring indeed. Oh I was heading to report for duty. Are you from the 13th division too?" she presumed he was of the same division simply because this area was usually patrolled by her.
The shinigami seemed to be staring at her for a moment, like he was fascinated by her or something. "Weird" she though but would rather not say it out loud. "Uhm. It's a nice weather right? What brings you to this district?" she did not know what to say so at that time it seemed to be good to throw weather in. "Man, I wish they would send us to the real world. Say, have you ever met a hollow before?"

Was the girl a mute? Wait, no, that couldn't be possible- just moments ago had he caught soft grumbles or something of the like escape her lips. For a second he felt abnormal, the thought of him slightly, maybe, fucking something up with a person he had ne'er met before, a person he had just possibly found a conversation to hold with. From soft lips would ethereal words make their exit, now making their entrance in the endless plain of enlightened souls.
she spoke of the 13th division. . .
"Haha, the 13th division? I belong to the squad where manly looking men like myself hunt for the battle where first blood takes ages!" He would boast, his voice ecstastic and lively as interest saturated his raven orbs, nulifying the spell of boredom that onces misted them. Quickly propping himself upward and seperating legs, his hand to barrel towards his chest and halt inches away, his thumb to stand erect poiting towards him, pointing out himself specifically as if he had been the the radiating star of the 11th division.
". . ."
Though, the the psuedo-egotistical grin that once rested frozen on his face withered to naught as eyes would cast themselves to cornors once more; not once in his life had he encountered a hollow and lying about it wouldn't take him anywhere. He had been silent at first, not exactly certain at what to say, though soon he would blurt it out, "no." He would sigh and slither down back onto his spot, "haven't even visited the real world yet... I've never been there." He'd chuckle in a soft manner, emberassed at how foolish he may have appeared. "What about you? Was it hard, was it interesting? What about the real world yet? What was it like?" Like the young child he appeared had he been filled with questions, his body now teeming with excitement as he would await her answers to his plethora of questions. It was always fun learning something this interesting.

The shinigami was really fascinated by her somehow that he was blacked out for a while and Aya would notice that. She could easily play him and make fun of him right now but she was not of that type and besides, she was nobility, they never do stuff like that right. So after a few moments of staring at her dully, he finally began to come to his senses to answer her questions. Well he didn't mention the weather.
"Haha, the 13th division? I belong to the squad where manly looking men like myself hunt for the battle where first blood takes ages!" he was practically laughing while she was confused as to why. "What's the matter with 13th division?" she asked him curiously for she did not see anything wrong with it. The shinigami now pointed at his chest with pride, he looked foolish in her eyes though then she realized he mentioned his division too. The words battle and blood would tell her he was most likely in the 11th division. "Pff, the proud battle division, battle monger."
He came yet to another blackout or so for he seemed not to be responding to her question whether he has even met a hollow. He said "no" suddenly taking her by surprise, a 11th division member who has never seen a hollow, that was impossible. The shinigami revealed he was not even sent to the real world at all. Well he needs to know right, it was her turn to brag now.
With a smile on her face Aya would look him in the eye and tell him of her adventure in the real world while she was still in the academy "Well you see, I've been in the real world already. Like twice. Meet a hollow and splayed it together with my fellow advanced class students." she intentionally stressed the word advance. "The hollow was nothing we couldn't handle with our zanpakuto. Anyway, my name is Aya Anzu."

The melon-chest gave him odd looks on and off, her eyes met his once or twice, but swiftly would the bridge between them both part -- she had fought a hollow and visited the world of the living twice. . . as far as experience had gone, the girl had out done like the every-swift hare had the forever-ritardando tortoise in a competition of speed. Well, there had been naught left to boast about. He would keep a still face though, his features frozen in place to ensue the illusion of him not being startled by the girls superior outings.
"Twice. . . and a hollow too? Sheesh, you've done it all! Boy, I hope they'll throw me out there sooner or later."
He'd grin just thinking about, images of him slaying the ebony swamped figures with his vary own soul, tearing the fabrics of their existance asunder with his nameless zanpakuto, or at least it had it refrained from speaking its name in an audible nature.
"Hey, don't you get the wrong idea now! Just 'cause they haven't sent me out on a mission like that doesn't mean I'm weak, why, I can do plenty on my own!"
He'd raise his voice to one above speaking, an attempt to shatter any negative assumptions she may have theorized silently in her head. Though, to swiftly follow her doings in the real world with other shinigami that had been as lucky as to be sent out to the physical world she would spout her name rather softly, one which flowed together nicely, calmly.
"Aya Anzu," he'd repeat her softly, words tender for a moment as he would memorize her namesake. "I'm Hiroko Namikishu, unseated officer of squad 11," not if that truly mattered, not like that really set him apart from most people. "What does your name mean?" He'd ask, his head slowly tilting with curiosity, the same curiosity followed his words.

Haha, she has made him envy a bit, she bet he was lunging to go to the real world already and slay a hollow. "Twice. . . and a hollow too? Sheesh, you've done it all! Boy, I hope they'll throw me out there sooner or later.". He was proud indeed but while studying the shinigami and his expressions she was sure he would do fine against a hollow, he is a shinigami after all, and the one in the 11th division, they did not accept weaklings for sure.
"Oh my, he seems to be lost in his thoughts." she thought he was rather cute while dreaming. She could only guess what he was dreaming about now, the real world and perhaps a hollow too. Aya grinned as he came back to senses. His cuteness would not go away though, the shinigami was defending his skills "Hey, don't you get the wrong idea now! Just 'cause they haven't sent me out on a mission like that doesn't mean I'm weak, why, I can do plenty on my own!" he really wanted to fight a hollow and perhaps just as her, he wanted to prove his worth.
Come to think of it, he did not tell her his name yet, he needs to if they were going to become friends but when she told him her name, the lad was stunned yet again. "I'm Hiroko Namikishu, unseated officer of squad 11," he was unseated like her, perhaps that is why he wanted to go be sent to the real world. "What does your name mean?" he would ask her curiously. "Well Aya means colourful one" or "beautiful" I believe. You did not know that?""

With an echoing screech that resonated across the air, the very fabric of time shattered into a dark dimension, signaling the use of the hollow portal; garganta. From its murky depths, a hand extended outward along with a head, cautiously scanning the surroundings. A sigh of relief escaped his lips, if rows of jagged teeth could be called that, signaling to himself that it was alright to come out from the safety of his portal.
The hollow had wandered into the enemy territory in search of food, the Shinigami flavoured kind. After all, humans could barley compare to the taste of Shinigami flesh, well that and Ezequiel always did like a little fight before he began munching down. The area around him seemed new and unfamiliar, although luckily all it seemed like was a desolate pathway at first. The last thing the hollow would want was to appear right next to some kind of barracks loaded with Shinigami, I mean it’s not like he couldn’t take on a couple of Shinigami, it’s just that the commotion might attract more of the roaches.
“Hmm…” Thinking out loud, the hollow decided to cautiously follow the path whilst trying his best to alert as few Shinigami of his presence as possible.

Swaying around a bit Ichidou would make his way through the streets, to combat crime, maintain order and to correct any unwanted behaviour wherever it would arise in Seireitei. Swaying around the corner Ichidou would notice two people loitering around. How exquisite... A situation doomed before his eyes that could very well awaken his rage, lazyness at its finest, manifested in the shape of a boy sitting against the wall that would be keeping another Shinigami away from any duties she might have. Things like this always happened on his shift.
Sighing Ichidou would stroll forward casually, intend on making a ruckus that had not been experienced yet by the other two in their lifetimes. This was Seireitei, work had to be done here, if they wanted to sleep they'd better resign and go to Rukongai. From a distance a new sound would reach his ears, but it wasn't of much matter to him now, that would have to be sorted out later, first this unforgivable laxness on the performance of duty would have to be corrected. "Oy! You two there, which divisions are you from?!" [/blockquote]

[@mr Hollow. Since you didn't really state much on the portal location other than its initial creation, I took the liberty to do some work to make our meeting just a little quicker --gotta get this thread moving along!]
Well, it was plainly obvious that the five foot something shinigami led this conversation with stern words backed by confidence; he believed in his abilities as much as his small body had allowed him to. Once his previous question had registered in her mind would his facial features adjust themselves, a brow elevating slightly in confusion to her reply. "I didn't mean like that. . ." he spoke as if a tassel of disappointment hung at the rear of his words. "I mean, why're you called what you're called?" It was something that he could never answer -- from the day he could remember, they just named him like a dog, no real meaning, no real purpose behind it from what he had known. After all, he came from the physical realm seconds after his attempted flee of the womb, he would never be able to recall his memories of physical life, the joys that others kept buried away unknowingly.
aw fuck. . .
The composure on his face had morphed sour, the relaxation he hoped for and was but inches away from now torn from him like fruits from a tree. As his head turned to cross eyes with a new individual would a look of awe freeze on his face as his ebony oculi would connect with the source of the screeching tear in space which floated high in the sky, the bridge for hollow from their world to the Death God's realm. "Theres something that I gotta check out. . ." He spoke as he arose from his sitting position, his voice audible to the blood-haired girl, but soft enough for the approaching Shinigami to remain unaware of his intentions. Upon regaining proper posture would he sprint toward the depth-less hole which tore the light blue's tranquility asunder. He would encounter this hollow, or what ever else possessed the sheer reitsu to tear the heavens apart with their blood curdling cries.
He was swift, maybe not the fastest, but his smaller body made little waste of its energy as he would speed forward, eyes sharp and dark, enthusiasm lurking in his black lenses as adrenaline coursed his body, excitement teaming in every fiber of his spirit as he would momentarily remain silent towards the shinigami who posed a possible hindrance in his ability to simply rest the dull day away. Was it his time to shine?

Hiroko seemed to be a bit disappointed by her answer for he did not mean it the way she did "I mean, why're you called what you're called?". Aya honestly did not know, she never asked her parents or anyone who might know, she could only guess it did not have any meaning. "I don't really know Hiroko, my parents never told me nor have I ever asked. Now that you brought it up, I am tempted to ask them right now. Oh and what about you, do you know why you are called Hiroko?". Come to think of it, maybe he was born in Soul Society too, she remembered the shinigami told her he never went to the real world. "Were you born in the Soul Society too?" she asked curiously and with a soft voice.
Suddenly Hiroko's face turned sour, was it from her questions? Maybe he did not want to talk about it? "Theres something that I gotta check out. . ." he would say after a moment of silence. In her eyes, he was certainly acting weir all of a sudden. The young shinigami would stand up and sprinted towards a hole. Noticing a bit late a male voice would ring her ears "Oy! You two there, which divisions are you from?!". Looking towards the direction the voice came from, she saw yet another shinigami though he seemed to be rude. "None of your problem." she would say quickly and then sped after Hiroko.

Well isn’t that just my luck thought the hollow to himself, grinning simultaneously as he did so. Off in the distance stood a lone figure and despite it looking like an obscure hedge, which was mainly down to the large area separating them, the scent it was uncontrollably emitting was unmistakable. Slowly the hollow closed the gap between him and the shinigami as he made his way toward him, his footsteps clearly signaling his arrival.
Irritatingly enough, the man who Ezequiel had been tailing still hadn’t noticed his presence despite his attempts to grab the man’s attention. Luckily however, another shinigami with an decent amount of manners had toke the bait and come out of hiding. In fact at this point the hollow wouldnt be too surprised if there were a couple more shinigami hiding around in the fancy looking housing.
"None of your problem."
A distant voice caught the hollows attention as a series of footsteps drew closer and out of the building, revealing a female shinigami. Ezequiel paused for a moment as he awaited for anymore interruptions, once it was clear however that there would be no immediate reinforcements for the three robed figures, the idle chit chat would then commence.
"Wow. Are you actually taking that?" Spoke the hollow in an grim voice, directed at the male shinigami who had just been verbally abused.

[Enter with Meimu.]
!!
Not too far from the initial crack in the dimension created by the first hollow would a second crack mar the face of the area. This Garganta, unlike the one before, is much larger in size as it easily reached a height of at least 30 feet. A single white hand grasping the edge of the dimension for support as the creature pulled itself out from behind the veil of darkness, crumbling the dimension at the same time. What would emerge from the darkness would be a form most Shinigami had only read in books while the other hollow would immediately notice -- a Menos Grande or Gillian. The large creature undoubtedly smaller than most being only 20 feet tall, its power however should not be underestimated.
Its immense spiritual energy blanketing the area in a heavy wave of energy, likely affecting all of those weaker than it. Only when the creature completely entered the realm of the Shinigami would they be able to notice something held within the left hand of the Gillian. A moderate sized object adorned in black, it was none other than a Shinigami; a female one at that. She had been intended to be his plaything but due to injuries incurred in battle, her body was now weak and broken. If she did not receive medical treatment soon, it was highly doubtful she would live to see another day.
Looking over to the other Vacuo Real, Animus spoke. "Another Vacuo, how interesting." [/i] A slight smirk appearing upon his face.[/blockquote][/font]

Kay. Just wanna make a note.
1 day IIC. Meaning, when its your turn and you don't post in 24 hours, you'll be automatically skipped and whoever was after you posts. The time frame of 24 hours resets when it moves onto the next person.
Posting order, as of now is:
Hiroko Abumi Shinzu Yuri Solus
This is prone to change if need be. IIC begins after Solus's post.
If you have problems with the ICC, consult me through PM's or just make a hasty exit out of this thread.
That is all.

OOC: Is it 24 or 36 hours IIC? You mentioned both IC: The very way she talked to a sixth squad member in function... Things like that weren't tolerated in the old days. The other boy suddenly had business to do, jumping up, and it was only then that Ichidou would notice the first Garganta and the second one opening besides it. the creature that came from it vaguely answered the descriptions of a Gillian from the great hollow book, whilst the smaller one looked more hollowish, separating weak from strong would be the easiest job in the world. Sighing Ichidou would start on speaking a lot of bullcrap. "Blue and white rain! Ten candles, fourteen suns, the loss of a single chariot! Blue lines intersect the core of a threatened king, a thousand white links hold the heart of the assassin at bay! Bakudo no Nijuusan: Juujika Awaikusari!"
Thrusting his arms to the side Ichidou would bring them together in front of him, forming a picture frame with his fingers by pressing his thumbs agains his index fingers. Around the smaller Hollow [Shinzu] four light blue glowing crosses would appear from the soil, rising up to the skies. The crosses, forming a square of four by four meters, would give birth to chains, shooting forth from the centers towards the intended target of the spell. A chain would coil around each limb, tightening and rooting down the hollow. "Get him!" [/blockquote]

A blood curdling screech tore through frigid airs once more, a depth-less well of black exponentially larger compared to the one that just came into existence. Had what he finally wish for happen? Had it finally been time to quench his thirst for an ongoing battle? He had been a fool running in head first, though he wasn't all too stupid.
He would take a deep breath as the monstrous hand grasped the edge of the tear like a window pane, eyes losing their soft composure as they grew sharp, darker as harmful intents birthed in his mind, running rampant as he would now find his battle spirit. "White chariot! Blue soldiers, rustled leaves, thirteen black clouds, unleash the sky! Hado no Yon: Byakurai!" He would spew out the chant, audible to those near him to hear, but the creature attempting to enter would most likely be unaware of the powers he called forth. As he recited the devastating incantation, his extremities rose and rested where needed, two flange to fold onto his palm, thumb overlapping them both. Swiftly would rietsu thunder outward, a burst of cackling azure flew frontward at frightening speeds as he knew well of the sin which he committed -- those in the 11th Division had been barred from such spiritual practices, but what they hadn't known wouldn't harm either of them.
He hadn't been unknowing of the other who donned a milky mask, or at least now he wasn't for his fellow soul reaper would challenged the beast with an incantation of his own; it hadn't been of his concern, his opponent was the approaching challenger. He had been unaware of their strength, unaware of their purpose, but as a shinigami had it been his duty to dispose of it -- if he could.

After a few steps through the hole, she would see Hiroko once more, they were in the open now. Her eyes were fixed on one thing, a hollow. Aya had no idea why she could not sense it, was it hiding its spiritual energy or what. Quickly putting her hands on her zanpakuto's hilt, she would slowly draw the sword out. The 1.4 m long blade whined as the light particles hit its surface. The hollow was smaller than the one she encountered in the real world long time ago but regardless, she needs to be careful.
Suddenly she could hear yet another cry, it sounded like another hollow is nearby but where. She could feel the strong reiatsu pressure her, it was enough to knock some weak willed shinigami unconscious, she wasn't among them. Aya would slowly catch up her breath by repeating "Calm down, calm down." to herself. The girl looked around her to see if it was anywhere near, she would hate to be ambushed by a hollow while fighting one.
It was a Menos Grande, this is the first time she met one. She would remember the stories about them while still in the academy, they say only strong shinigami can deal with them. Today was that day she would show her worth to her family and her division, she will get a promotion for sure. Pointing her blade at the Menos, she would look and analyze the situation. "There is something else with him." upon looking closer she would see it was holding a shinigami in its left hands "Hm.. left side".
Meanwhile she was studying the menos, her shinigami companions attacked their targets. The newcomer, the shinigami, was chanting and pointing at the smaller hollow, he was preparing some kind of kido she hoped would be effective. He shot out some kind of chains in the hopes it would hit the hollow. Hiroko was chanting as well which seemed weird, an 11th division member with kido? She'd have to ask him after all this is done. It was yet another kido she did not know, it was aimed at the Menos.

Hearing a distant voice, the hollow tilted his head back as he fixed his eyes on the huge figure. The creature easily towered above the others at a height of 20 feet and with an eerie bone white mask; there was no doubt that it was an gillian. Despite not liking other hollows very much, Ezequiel decided it would be best to start a conversation with him to find out whether or not the gillian had any intentions of squishing him.
"Quiet a coincidence. I’m guessing you’re on my side, at least for now. Right?"
A distant chant however brought the hollow back into reality, the shinigami had begun their assault. "That a bit rude. You could at least tell me your names before we start fighting, not that id remember it for too long mind you." Having run out of things to say which would annoy the shinigami, Ezequiel assumed a defensive stance with his fists close to the ground as he prepared for anything.
The first of the two spells to finish seemed to launch several crosses from the ground which then shot numerous chains toward the hollow, luckily for him; he was an expert at dodging these kinds of attacks. Whilst the crosses began their upward path into the skies, the hollow began to violently punch the soil beneath him, seemingly to the others that he had gone into frenzy.
"That should be enough." Whispered the hollow to himself. As the second kido finished, it seemed to launch a thing bolt of lightning toward the hollow, which he oddly enough ran toward. As the chains tried to snipe down their target, a huge swarm of golden wasps burst out from beneath the ground Ezequiel was previously pummeling which began to travel toward the chains in an cloud of buzzing, stopping them from reaching the intended target.
As for the lightning, the few wasps which hadn’t gotten caught up in the chains darted toward the kido as they tried to slam against it and make it prematurely explode. Being so close to the explosion however, the hollow raised both his hands over his chest in an attempt to shield himself from the sparks which left his palms slightly scorched in key areas. Not bothering to even notice how bad the pain was, the hollow imediatly toke the offensive. He rushed toward the shinigami who had fired the lighting in an attempt to stab him with his razor sharp claws, if the same shinigami dodged or blocked the attack but was still in a close enough range the hollow would then follow up this attack by slashing at him, tearing up the left side of his body.

Pulling himself from out of the veil proved to be a harder task than Animus had imagined for as he took his first steps into Seireitei, a beamed was launched his way. Luckily for him, the beamed was slowed and weakened due to a defense concocted by his temporary ally, the other Vacuo Real. Upon noticing the beam almost instantly, Animus shifted his body to the right in a single fluid movement allowing the beam to pass by. Looking over to the already ensuing battle, there would be no words voicing that he was an ally of the Vacuo Real but there were no actions suggesting he was not. Having finally entered the dimension, his left hand raised to show the female shinigami who lay within his grasp.
"I suggest you do not attack me further, Shinigami. We wouldn't want anything to happen to this woman, would we?" [/i] A maniacal laugh echoing forth into the distance for all the Shinigami to hear. Animus was enjoying this pleasure of battle, the feeling of having taken a hostage for himself to use as a shield; a despicable act and very hollow-like. He would wait for the Shinigami's response while his deep yellow oculi scanned the area of all entities. He would note the presence of his fellow hollow and three Shinigami; two male and a single female. His eyes locking onto the female as his mind wandered to other more "Enjoyable" thoughts -- and though he stated for them not to attack him, he did not say such words about attacking his fellow hollow or defending oneself. How interesting this encounter would soon prove to be.[/blockquote][/font]
