[OOC: Eviscerate, you entered saying you were 30 meters from the nearest enemy which I assume is a Hollow (Either me or Shinzu). A Sonido took me 50 meters to where Lady M, Hiroko and Abumi were before another Sonido took me 50 meters away from everyone. So I am at least 100 meters away, and if you had entered 30 meters behind the Shinigami, I would still be 70 meters away.]
As the creature waited for a reply from his captive, the boy's action would surprise Animus in more than one way. As pearly whites gnawed their way into his flesh, the black blood within the creature flowed outwards into the boys mouth. The Shinigami boy would be forced to drink the blood otherwise he would drown from the black liquid flowing into his mouth. Even though as teeth managed to inflict damage upon the Gillian, penetrating a thing layer of the creatures flesh, pain was not a factor. The unusual striking method would not hinder his movements as his right hand dropped the red headed woman to the ground. Single bladed finger moving to strike the Shinigami boy upon his left shoulder likely ceasing any function of the connected limb.
The strike loosening the grip the Shinigami boy had on the silver haired woman, a flick of the left arm sending this boy flying into nearby buildings; fingers grasping the female Shinigami to make sure she would not be tossed with the male. With the silver haired woman held within his right hand, Animus tightened his grip only to cause pain in order to cease any foolish plans she could be concocting. Simultaneously tightening his grip while moving back over to the red headed woman who now lay upon the ground, left extremity scooping her from the floor into his palm. Finally, he had obtained what he wanted from this battle; both female Shinigami.
Satisfied at his accomplishment, Animus watched as a rather large blast of energy was fired from the direction of the newest Reiatsu presence. Though the Kido was powerful, Animus stood at least 50 meters from the nearest opponent besides the Shinigami boy and two female Shinigami. His distance being too great for the Kido to strike him, Animus shifted the position of his hostages so that both females lay his left palm, grip tight but not too tight that it would kill.
"What shall I do now?" [/i][/blockquote][/font]

Saranos had been keeping an eye on the outcome of the battle. His eyes now rested on the bigger of the two hollows, He seemed to be winning his fight, in fact he was dominating. His eye narrowed as he saw the hollow gain possession of two shinigami. In doing so he became Saranos’ prime target. Without wasting a single moment he began a nose dive from the 900 meters he had been flying at. His eyes not shifting for a moment from the hollow.
From above he’d seen the hollow fight, and knew of his speed which far exceeded his own. But it was meaningless to Saranos. He would devour him and the two shinigami he possessed. No creature so small and fragile would stop him.

Sorry for the late post, New year celebrations held me up a bit >.> This opponent seemed to like turning loose earth into living stuff. Having seen that before and being spotted the shinigami would realize that he had lost his advantage and would instead of finishing the incantation draw his sword. Crouching down he would allow the swipe he anticipated to swoop over him moving his sword in an upward slash in an attempt to slice some fingers off. Even though his leg speed wasn't that fast he was far better at swooping his zanpactou around. Jumping to the left he would take a fighting stance about a meter away from the hollow, holding the handle of his sword with two hands and pointing the tip at was looked like the Hollow's plexus solaris, ready for anything. The fledgling Shinigami would tear deep into the flesh of the hollow, though, the pain shout he had hoped to reap with his ferocious bite never came to; liquids of onyx would substitute the banshee yelped he prayed for, so rich in its viscosity that he would forcefully pull back to cough, spitting thrice in seconds to rid himself of the foul taste that now lingered in full strength all around. But, before given a full chance to recover would eyes dart wide as pain enveloped his upper torso, an unexpected pain that would halt all in their tracks.
". . ."
Before given a chance to realize it would he now soar through the skies, the femma of silver tresses freed from his tight grip. There had been nothing more he could do as of now, other than get stronger -- t'was his top priority now. He was rather far off from them now, but nothing too notable. He would strike a glass pane, going through a window into another's room.

Is he…running…? I considered the shameless 'retreat' of the one Shinigami whose essence was dangerously close to my blast, but with his impromptu exit, he’d no longer concern my targeting range anymore. A ‘tch’ escaped my mouth as I cursed his sudden inspiration to run, but regardless, my blue flames had served some purpose. Having seemingly ignored my blast, the fire would find its target by the bitten hollow’s feet, most likely splashing some damage his unsuspecting way, as well as serving its true purpose – a blinding distraction. The words that escaped my pursed lips were low, whispered so that it barely could stir up the excited youth within.
“Storm, powerful, demanding; give wings to your essence and deliver your forbidden judgment.”
“Hado no Hachi – Eiei Arashi!”
A swarm of thunder ravens would appear, not handsome or overdone, but certainly enough to cover my figure all around me. Sparks would greet their birthing into this world, yet instead of delivering a premature judgment, I would force them to hold their ground, instead remaining on guard in a circular pattern directly around my vicinity, waiting for a potential victim. Now, as a glided down from the roof top and onto the ground so as to acknowledge my new opponent directly, they too would descend and keep their defensive profile. Before speaking, I would make one more spiritual energy sensing, taking note of the disappearance of several others. Pansies… A bitter look worn, I would retain a twenty meter separation to the female abductor, my palms open as I spoke.
“You aren’t supposed to be here…drop the women and leave.”
“Ye lord…”
[/font][/size] Hadō No. 8: Eiei Arashi (Way of Destruction: Thunderstorm Ravens) Type: Destruction Art. Description: As the user begins the incantation, a speck of blue light will appear upon their index finger. Tracing this light in the shape of a raven, the user will continue to chant the spell. As the user finishes the incantation, they will have traced a number of small raven forms within the air, which are illuminated with the same blue light. After the incantation is finished, the user will call out the name of the spell, activating it. Each drawn raven will burst into life with a potent electrical current. These ravens will then dart quickly towards the opponent, attempting to strike them. Depending upon the number of ravens that have been drawn, the user can create a warning shot with no harm with a singular raven, to an incredibly damaging attack with a swarm of electrical ravens. The average drawn raven will be no larger than an inch in height or width, although larger ravens can be drawn to create a more powerful attack, at the expense of additional energy. Incantation: Storm, powerful, demanding; gives wings to your essence and deliver your forbidden judgment. Hado no Hachi: Eiei Arashi! Restrictions: Must have knowledge of Kosharashi.

A slight 'tch' escaped the hollows lips, if a bone white mask and rows of jagged teeth could be called that. The giant dragon like hollow had escaped mid flight whilst a couple more Shinigami had joined the enemy ranks since this battle had began, leaving the two nightmarish creatures now heavily outnumbered. Deciding that escaping would be a lot easier with one less Shinigami to worry about, the hollow continued his attack and with a flickering movement, the hollow vanished and reappeared toward the side of the Shinigami [Solus] in an enormous burst of speed. 2/4 Sonido However this wasn’t the only thing that had been happening. Earlier when Ezequiel had been rescued by the menos and began to make his way back, he had brushed his arms against a couple of buildings, converting the area touched into a swarm of locusts which had inconspicuously been drawing closer. By now they were no less than a couple of feet away from the hollows target, hiding away from plain site. As Ezequiel had activated his sonido, they began to fling themselves toward the Shinigami who the hollow was preparing to jab across the side of his face. Since the man was already crouching down, the hollow had made sure to keep his body in such a angle that it would be difficult for the Shinigami to slash him and with the cloud of locusts aiming to surround the man and impair his vision, it only made it that much harder to try to defend himself.

Searing energy striking his feet, Animus flinched from the intense blast of energy directed his way. Initially, he thought the strike would fail to strike him but unexpectedly, the blast managed to achieve some level of damage — even if the damage was but slight. Taking a few steps back due to the damage received, his mind wondered just what kind of adversary had dealt such wounds upon him. Turning to face the approaching reiatsu source who manage to deal damage to the Gillian. Animus would come face to face with his foe. The male Shinigami possessing creatures of a shocking nature surrounding his visage, words of a threatening nature would be the first real interaction between both parties.
Encountering his foe, Animus's curiosity was satisfied to the point where there was no longer a reason for him to be here; having already captured his two targets. Though slightly injured due to the Kido spell which struck him, his ability to escape would not be hindered enough for any of his adversaries to stop him. With more than a few Sonido, Animus was gone from sight leaving the scene of the battlefield in less than a moments notice. Each Sonido easily covering 20 meters — ten Sonido in all; Animus would be gone from the battlefield within a matter of seconds. Entering the Garganta thereafter, taking him beyond what the Shinigami could follow. Oddly enough, Animus had done one of the two things the Shinigami wished of him, leave.

His opponent was gone from his sight, on his right a swooping sound could be heard. Instinctively raising his blade on that side he would avert most of the damage, though the impact would throw his balance off, causing the man to topple over without Ichidou being able to put up much resistance. Only his low position had prevented him from being thrown on the earth painfully.
Getting up out of his roll about a meter or two from his opponent he would keep his focus on that guy, that was until a buzzing sound reached his ears. In the corner of his eyes he could see a large black something closing in. Not wasting any second he would start to run for it, clearly being faster. Running away from the other Shinigami and hollows he would notice one of his allies was retreating, most interesting that was. Keeping an eye on the hollow which seemed to have bombarded himself to Ichidou's enemy he would stay on the ready for anything yo come. [/blockquote]

As easily as she had been thrown out of the monster's grasp, she would fall prey to his evil clutches once more. Tired, bruised up and on the verge of unconsciousness, the young Shinigami could do nothing against the powerful Hollow. His large hand wrapped itself around her petite body once more, her arms being completely blocked within the beast's palm. She could not move nor stirr, Meimu was but a figurine in the Hollow's growing collection. It seemed as if she was no longer the lone captive. Joining her was another female shinigami that she had never seen before. She released a small cry before darkness overcame her once more. As sight gave way to fear and darkness, Meimu wondered if death had finally accepted her within its cold embrace.
And so everything around her vanished, the world but a far away whisper compared to the nothingness she fell into. She was within an abyss, stuck between two realms...

A quivered brow would raise at the sight of what appeared to be a battlefield. Just as I had arrived, it would appear many were taking their leave. Although, to my content I managed to arrive just in time, as it would appear a few remained. I would survey from a distance as I would inspect the interaction between them, however, from my initial presence I could infer that these interactions were entirely hostile, not in the least bit friendly. Although, I would carefully depict the good from the bad, as I would make my decisions to intervene there. Of course, my inspection would not rely solely upon how the remaining behaved, more rather their assets in regards to skills and capabilities. This would indeed prove an importance as I studied their movements carefully to delineate each carefully.
Had their attention been shifted upon me, I would be forced to take appropriate action, however, they all seemed a bit too invested into their own battles to examine the likes of a newcomer. Although, they would soon find sides would be taken to the appropriate measures, officially to the faction of the Shinigami. Of course, this would be the most obvious choice of action as the company not considered Shinigami would therefore be an enemy to me, and to the fellow Death Gods (regardless of their Division).
Being in the Eleventh Division, I had always been craving to seek out a fight, of course, my abilities were not entirely flawless yet; giving me all the more reason to enter a battle. I would always require training, even if the training had the stakes of life and death at hand. I would place my hand upon the hilt of my blade of which rested upon my back. I would apply pressure with my thumb upon the hilt, as it would pop out from its holster. With this action performed, my Zanpakutou would be easily accessible as a simple pull of my hand would unveil Fiinikkusu.
The crimson scar that spread across my face would label me as apart of the Samurai family, as the engraved word of 'Samurai' were forcibly imprinted upon my face that fateful night. With this, any one person, friend or foe, was capable of distinguishing me from the rest, as this ghastly stain upon my face would mark me forever. I was not ashamed, rather proud to uphold my family crest with such dignity. Even the look of it did not bother me so, as it gave me a unique attribute that none other could possibly relate to, and therefor couldn't possibly call me a commoner. In essence, it gave me pride if anything else. Eying the battlefield intently, I would map out my course of action that would soon take place.
Taking notice upon a Shinigami, I would speak aloud to capture the attention, making myself known. "Fellow Shinigami! Otaku Samurai of the Eleventh Division... it would appear you've found yourself caught within a tight bind. I will inquire but once: do you require my hand of alliance, as I will justly reward it to you now." With that, I would fully unsheathe Fiinikkusu as her beauty would radiate from the beams of light from above. I would rest the tip of her serrated edge upon the dirt two feet from me, and lean my weight upon it to act as a pose of relaxation. Would this Shinigami take my hand of alliance or would he deny? The hollow let out a sigh as his fist sent his opponent rolling across the ground. Having only just noticed that the large menos had escaped, an immediate sense of urgency tingled across the creatures body. Not bothering to take note of what had happened to the two females the menos had originally been targeting let alone finishing his current fight, the hollow raised his palm and dragged it across the air behind him, sending a series of dark cracks to bleed around him. “Well it’s been fun but I really don’t feel like finishing a fight when I’m this heavily outnumbered.” His words were not only directed at the Shinigami who he had just been fighting, but all who choice to remain and were expecting some kind of final battle. Not wanting to wait for a reply or the man to launch a counterattack, Ezequiel immediately toke a step back and disappeared into the dark portal; Garganta. [Exit]

I stood face to face with pure evil as it underwent its own selfish desires, and although my blue flames were shot in response to his treachery, it seemed my arrival was a bit too late; while one of the Shinigami had been violently tossed, two female members were now kidnapped under the claws of a most tenacious adversary. He and I exchanged glances for that one fleeting moment, his Sonido aided escape commencing seconds after the two monsters nodded each others way. It was at that moment that I’d acquire my first burning desire for pure vengeance. No one ever got away; no one.
I won’t ever forget you, Hollow...
Smoke still oozed from the source of my blast, and as I slowly trotted over to inspect the remains, the final adversary made his exit via the Garganta in the distance. At this point it’d be futile to go after them, leaving me little to do but report this foul matter. Many had left but still a few remained, none too scarred save the one having flown through several buildings. Even then I wouldn’t morn, for his spiritual energy had told me he still live. Sighing, I’d prepare my exit, but as slowly sheathed Raijin, a rather bold looking Shinigami appeared; from his speech, I acquired his source, a bolstering berserker from the 11th division. Tch.
“It’s all over samurai guy. Those hollows kidnapped our women…”

Reseathing his Zanpactou Ichidou would sigh as the first Hollow he had encountered in such a serious fight took a run for it, to bad both of them had gone away, including the two beauties... His eyes would shift over the scene as the other two shinigami would rattle their speeches. "I am sorry your fight will have to wait Dono, next time I'll encounter them they won't take the slip like this. Two Shinigami kidnapped, one of ours defaulted from duty, and he was already breaking rules when I arrived here."
He would tap his sandalled foot on Gaia. "A most unproductive day..." The sun would shine in Ichidou's face, signalling that he should be happy that he was still in posession of his life, but the only thing that raged through his skull would be pure anger at the defaulting Shinigami and the rough treatment of Lady Fortuna today. I was done here. An annoyed ‘tch’ left my pursed lips as the realization that a few shinigami had just been kidnapped by the very creatures I was employed to loathe sunk in, but as these foul events carried forth outside my jurisdiction and zone of interest, I’d do only enough to try and save them and nothing more. A stoic expression worn, I’d be content with accepting the fact their weakness had lead to their capture, and as a lone agent operating within the second division, their fate was not of my concern. I had acquired a new target within the escaping Hollow, and would not rest until we met again – with parted blades.
“I’m gonna go report this little event to command…”
“…maybe someone should check up on the injured...?”
What DID bother me was the fact these Hollow penetrated our homestead so easily. It was nothing to scoff over as their meddling could potentially interfere with our true plants, so I would certainly be something to bring up to Senpai. Dawdling here would resolve nothing, so without much more said, I would make my exit. A single nod was afforded to the nearest Shinigami, and as Raijin returned to its sheathe quietly, my presence within the corridors would be no more.

What a shame. I managed to arrive on these foregrounds in time of the last presenting hallow, however, he made his survival flee at the time of my arrival. I was seriously hoping to unleash my blade upon the evils of this world. It would have been a perfect situation for me, as I had surrounding back up as Shinigami with me included within the fight. A moment earlier and that Hallow would have never been capable of escaping as a triangle formation could have taken place, surrounding him in all escape routes. It would have been a sure death, and it would have been certainly a glorious one at that. I would realize my timing was off, and I would simply sheath my Zanpakutou back within its original location.
"It would appear I am a little too late. I'm concerned for the sake of the Shinigami that had been kidnapped, however, I do apologize for the unfortunate timing of my arrival."
One last Shinigami remained, as I would take notice on him. The fact that he had managed to risk his own life to attempt to save the Shinigami in distress was heroic. I did not know his name, but I would be soon find myself capable of asking. A simple Shunpo put me 5 meters from him, as I would stare directly into his eyes. "Although my timing was off, I came in the correct time to take notice of your heroism. Although it's not one for me to judge, but the blow you absorbed from that Hallow looked to be rather painful, and for that, you have my respect." A bow would be in order for gratitude.
"Your name?"
Consider it an unorthodox way of transgression to enter conversation, however, I would be much obliged to know this man's name as he proved his worth in my eyes.
Prior to my request for his name, I had announced mine upon my entrance, thinking I was able to intervene with the fight, however, the cowardice Hallow (as they all were in the end) let fear take advantage of his mind, as he fled the scene in a hurry. I managed to mentally instill the image of that Hallow's face, for if I ever came across it I would be sure to slice through him within the blink of an eye. The Shinigami who managed to leave the scene with his life seemed rather interesting as well, as he appeared to have a good head on his shoulders. Stating the fact that he would take it upon himself to capture and kill the Hallow's was deemed impressive in itself. If I had had the chance to acknowledge his character, I would have, but he rushed off before words of effect could be produced from myself.

Ichidou would receive the bow with the required dignity. "Thanks friend, it was all in the name of duty. The name is Hosokawa Ichidou, sixth division." I would extend my hand for a more friendlier meeting. "I'd rather have a late entry then nothing to be honest. Since you're eleventh division I take it that you hadn't been sitting out there and waiting until most of the battle was over, so I guess no blame comes to you. Also it seems your arrival scared away that last foul beast, preventing me from taking more blows, though I really craved to slice that coward into small pieces."
He would look a bit at his opened hand and smile melodramatically, fired up so much and nothing to take it out on, this guy was probably feeling the same way. He would sit down where he had stood, producing a small bottle of sake from the insides of his uniform and take a sip of it, before reaching the bottle to Otaku. "So fired up... Give me a second to rest, maybe after that you are in for a little friendly spar?" Ichidou would speak. [/blockquote]

Ah, a friendly face after all. I would grab that hand that greeted, shaking it gently to provide a sense of hospitality. Although this was not my home, I was keen on preparing a sense of welcome to all acquaintances. At first, I would assume that this Shinigami would think by my arrival being distinctly after the battle was over, he'd view me as a coward, however I did not arrive late on my own will. Of course, I was itching to enter the battle as much they did, however the timing was a bit off. Being in the Eleventh Division, appearing in a true heat of battle was what we lived for. I tried appearing here to the best timing I possibly could manage, unfortunately, I was a little too late. The man would inform me his name, Hosokawa Ichidou. He would place himself upon the floor, where he would unveil an interesting remedy to anyone's hard work: sake. A life saver to most, some an addiction, however, for me, I was no more than a social drinker. I would accept the bottle kindly, with simple words of, "Ah, greatly appreciated." as I grabbed the bottle. My gratitude was plentiful, as I would clean the mouth of the bottle before placing it against my lips, taking a feint swig, no more than a sip, as too many gulps could lead to unconventional behavior.
The liquid would enter my mouth, as I would skillfully avert the taste by pressing my tongue against the depths of my mouth, allowing the Sake to swoosh past the buds and enter the throat with little taste. I enjoyed the conditions of drinking, but the taste would never be appealing to me. The fluids would slide through my esophagus, as it entered the Digestive Tract where it would soon be put to good use. Energy would always be received from this informal drink. He would continue to speak, as this man spoke of a spar. Of course I was intrigued by this offer, as I had missed an opportunity to clash swords not a moment ago, this offer would instill life within me. I would clean the mouth of the bottle once again, using the cuffs of my shirt to do so; I found this a polite gesture to my gratitude for his gift.
I would place my hand upon the hilt of my blade that protruded from behind as the sheath rested upon my back. This nontraditional style of placement was about due to comfortable and quickness of removal. I managed to extract the Zanpakutou from its concealed location with haste rather than it being placed upon my left hip. In addition, the way it slid from its confines would place it directly where I wanted to begin my form of defense as soon as it was completely removed. I would take a step back, bringing the sword in an aerial flaunt downwards, pointing the tip directly at my opponent, giving the indication that I fully accepted. My blade would remain still as it pointed sharply at him, with the distance of the Zanpakutou two feet from his face. This action was not intended to be hostile, just a exasperated way to say 'I accept.'
"A spar you say? I am fully obliged to accept your offer; a friendly spar it is Hosokawa Ichidou." [/center][/blockquote] I would await my opponents decision on timing to stand up and begin the engagement between us both; a Shinigami duel. [/size][/i]
